"we're no experts here, we are dangerous enough" Ok...fair enough.... I say you are humble man who has mastered his craft and is confident enough to tell the world about it. If not an expert, then you are pretty damn good then. Cheers
Good info. Thanks 👍👍

What kind of spray gun are you using
Hi I own a 82 corvette and I’ve been watching videos on painting. From what I’ve seen either Evercoat Feather Fill G2 Premium Polyester Primer or Everocat Optex Super Build 4:1 Polyester Primer. Are the the sane thing?
You're a keen man, putting overspray on the camera lens would have put me off.
What grit would you use after cured epoxy?
in our opinion only....and depends on where and what but 180 to 220 is good for what we use.... has to be sanded everywhere otherwise it may have an adhesion issue
A critical lesson every novice body man needs to embrace is reading the technical data sheet provided by the manufacturer instead of asking for free advice on the internet. No one can be certain on the requirements of every product.
@@bigblocklawyer I contacted Eastwood for their TDS sheet on their epoxy and they had no idea what TDS stood for LOL so SPI and Tamco are my new favorites
I had a problem spraying this with out thinner, It would not shoot through a 2.5 tip, its a hvlp gravity feed gun, no name cheap gun
We never had an issue spraying it, We paint shake the daylights out of the gallon every time we use it, if you dont and you use it over time the settle becomes to thick to spray. Its a HB primer and it separates in the can if not used. We use a cheap gun to shoot it too. 2.0 tip half pattern.
wouldn't it be easier to put a nice skim coat of glaze over that area and sand it out nicely and then prime? I saw lot's of rough areas there.
Either way works ...the product lays very thick and will covers very well...that way we keep the same product through a process. Thanks!
