Absolute best start is what I do every play through. As soon as you leave the vault, discover megaton- go investigate the outcast distress signal and do the Operation Anchorage DLC. Completing this will give you like 8-10 levels, power armor, and the gauss rifle. Also- the winterized T53B power armor, it's glitched in the game and can't break. Then proceed to play the game and all other DLC. I've done like 5 playthroughs like that lol. Great video man!

I remember one time I was lucky enough to have that one random encounter where the outcasts encounter some enclave soldiers. They just about all killed each other so I had high end loot basically from the get go. I think in the same playthrough I got Firelance in the gray ditch area around lvl 4 or 5. (But I couldn’t find it and had to get Dogmeat then return lol.) I’ve never got that lucky again.
It's mad this came out in 08 and there's still playthroughs.. Stands the test of time this game

i just beat the game and was looking for series of the game and i like the video honestlyi cant wait for part 2
