A couple of suggestions: 1) have more inventory, 2) make a list of your inventory, 3) put your coasters in sets of four, 4) did not see if you had bags, signage, nor where you can be found on social media nor where you sell online (Etsy, Shopify) QR codes would be helpful. Make multiples of each so you don not loose sales as you did on your first market. I am only trying to be helpful because I would love to see you become more successful in your craft fairs. Good luck on your next one.
Thanks so much!! Yes, definitely will make more inventory next time. I did have some signs with my social media and I handed out cards :) but these tips are great!! Thank you!
How would you suggest using QR codes?
@@carolcrockett2586 I personally got a QR code for my shop and printed it out really big on a piece of regular computer paper -- it looked nice and pretty in one of the acrylic sign holders I got! I know other people like to link the QR to their Venmo or social media
@CrochetByGenna a small investment is getting stickers with a cute designs withs a qr code/your info on them.
I go to tattoo convensions and it's a very common alternative to cards as that way people are very likely to stick your design on their notebooks or phones and are more likely to hold on to your info, and constantly be reminded of your work.
Plus I think you can get them for fairly cheap, and everyone loves free stickers c:
Blah blah blah
She is doing fine.
As a beginner crocheter, I can’t believe how cheap you sold some of your items! With the price of yarn and the time it takes to make these things, your market buyers are lucky people! 😊
Awww thank you!! Ugh I know, I really need to increase prices next time ahah
Sweetie you selling your products to cheap .
@@junyalexander8591really? I was stunned - her toys are severely overpriced. Who buys them. The design is very simple, nothing to admire
They aren't, and like she said people buy them online all the time. When you factor in time, price of materials, the fact they are handmade not mass produced on a machine, and the current market, her prices are pretty low. Just because you wouldn't buy/admire something, doesn't mean there aren't other people who would. @@bambinaforever1402
@bambinaForever1402 crochet cant be machine made. That's why it's so expensive generally. Plus the time of the person. If you want cheap overproduced plushies that's fine. Just don't complain about handmade stuff being "overpriced"
I’ve been vending for several years now and I’ve found that while I always have cheaper items, I always have to have plenty of expensive items. People seem to shy away from items that seem “too cheap,” because they think it is cheaply made or in some way, “undesirable.” Not to mention, if you sell your items too cheap, you’ll burn yourself out much faster. People don’t have a problem with spending extra money on a high quality item, it gives them the sense that they are getting something of value.
Thanks so much for this, I love the input❤️
I imagine that the minis might be more successful in person bc people are incidentally finding your stuff while browsing, so spending a small amount of money (under $20) seems like a reasonable impulse buy. Rather than online people are often seeking out your items and are prepared to spend larger amounts of money for that specific thing they’ve had on their mind for days/weeks
Yes!! That totally makes sense, thanks for sharing -- couldnt agree more :)
I have an idea. For the chicken nuggets, make mini chicken nuggets and make a chicken nugget box out of cardboard. Put the mini nuggets in the nuggets box and sell them per box or individually. The box can also be a display for the nuggets. 😁😊
Hahahha wait I love this! Yesss, this would definitely help haha thank you!
I do this and I sell way more
Brilliant!
this is so cute! I'd recommend lots of mini's for a market! people are often willing to spend $5-8 on a cute mini at a market! it's a different clinetele than online selling! online sellers come looking for a cute crochet. a market shopper is often coming in very open minded! and i agree, don't under price yourself so much. your plushies are too adorable!!!
Aww thank you so much!! Yes that makes sense!! And I appreciate it🥺❤️ definitely wont undercut next time!!
I agree! I keep the majority of my inventory between $3 and $9. Markets are FULL of impulse purchases.
The prices hurt me 😩 I charge $22 for a leggy frog and I would charge probably $20 for those octopi. The jumbo turtle I would have charged $50 at least! Oh gosh I mean obviously charge what you want but know your worth!!❤❤❤
Awww thanks so much!! Yes, 100% next time❤️
so expensive no would buy it tbh 😭😭
Yeah, and u would take all of them home with u because nobody would buy them
@@bambinaforever1402 who hurt u small bambina? Seems u r jealous person , cheers dont be haters ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
I feel that's too much, depending on how much your paying yourself for your time, the amount of toys you can get out of a 100g ball is more than enough to sell at these prices😊
Love the strawberry turtles! A tip I saw on another video was to continue to bring the bigger items along, as they draw in a lot of attention even if they don’t sell! Good luck on your next market :)
Thanks so much!!❤️ And yes so true, if anything they will catch people’s eye🥰
Very true! I had two cat houses on my table, which brought in a lot of lookers (and sold one!). My usual items are winter hats, spa items and scrunchies. Best seller has been water balloons, but no matter how I label them, they must be explained. I keep getting asked how the balloon gets put in...
Totally agree with you Rachel! Last year I had a huge cloud plushie and a huge whale plushie. The cloud didn’t sell but eventually the whale did! There is always someone out there who will be drawn to the item you think is never going to sell
@@ecouturehandmades5166how do you sell your water balloons if you don't mind me asking?
Suggestion for your little penguins! Turn them into wobbles by stuffing the base with a heavier material! This way they always stand up on their own even if pushed over. I made a little frog wobble this way and its probably my favorite thing ive made 😂
Awww wait I love this!! A little wobbler would be so cutee🥰 thank you!
@braveheart6816 I'm totally new to the amigurumi world. What do you put in the bottom to make it a wobble, if you don' t mind me asking. That's a great idea!
Congrats!! I recommend having a spreadsheet of all the items (you can even print it off if you don't wanna have a laptop out), that has a column for price and at least checking off if it sold. That way you won't have to write anything when you make a sale except any receipt info you wanna take like time stamps or order numbers to track multiple items per purchase.
I started doing this and it definitely helps.
This is amazing, thank you so much! I'll definitely do this next time :)
My husband does this for me and definitely recommend
It’s unfortunate that we have to cut our prices in person! It’s always surprising what sells and what doesn’t. People NEVER know what my chicken nuggets are either so I stopped making them. Online you can definitely get more money for plushies. I’d love to sell online but getting started makes me nervous. If you have any tips I’d love to hear. I kind of want to start slow if I start that. It was a goal for me this year
In person is so different because at markets ppl don’t tend to want to spend a ton. It’s very odd and EVERY event is different. I’ve had some events a lot of higher priced sold and some none sold. Keep trying!! You got this
We print a list with our items and the count and then my husband just tallies it as I sell stuff! Might be good to try in the future.
I was so surprised people didn't know what the chicken nuggets are lol I guess we're just used to seeing them in the crochet community. I definitely will be sharing Etsy tips next week -- I'm excited for you to open your online shop!! It'll be fun and starting slow is always best!
Oh that's so smart!! Yes, next time we'll definitely have inventory all written out beforehand and then my husband can just tally :)
Thank you soo much, you're so sweet! You got this too!! :)
YOU GAVE ME SO MUCH MOTIVATION!!! Me and a friend of mine wants to go to a market and sell stuff! But this would also be our first market and we dont know if we could aford it. We we’re having doubts about how much money we would make but this video gave us motivation!! Thank you so much girly
Aww oh my gosh, this makes me so happy!! You guys got it!! Even if you don’t have a crazy amount of inventory, just experiencing a market will be fun and rewarding!!
I highly recommend getting supplies from the thrift store to start! It's inexpensive, and very affordable. I get most of my yarns and threads from there. I just rewind them into hanks and wash them. :)
Markets in person are SO DIFFERENT than online sales! 😮 its so crazy how it goes
Its seriously so wild!!!
I love doing markets and watching people prepping. I am usually surprised at what sales and what doesn’t sale. My first market for this year is next Saturday. It’s a pickle festival and there were 5,000 tickets sold. Who knew people love pickles so much? I have over 300 plushies made so hopefully a few people will find something that they can’t live without.
Oh my gosh that's amazing, I would love to attend a pickle festival! Best of luck, that sounds like an amazing inventory!! :)
Make some pickle plushies?
How’d it go ?
@@jas879 thank you for asking. I sold out of almost everything! All my small stuff went and I had a lot! I came home with a few of my larger items. I’ll email you a short video of my set up. If you see anything you would like to know where I got the pattern let me know and I’ll share. FYI opossums we’re extremely popular. I even sold my giant one. Of course the emotional support pickles were the second thing I sold out of. Don’t have your email so I messaged you in Instagram.
To keep track of sales you could put price tags on them and tape the tags into a notebook as they sell.
Ohhh thats an amazing idea! Thank you🥰❤️
Thank you for being so transparent! That helps out us newbie market preppers. Appreciate you ♡
Aww of course!! Glad you found it helpful🥰
I'm not surprised that you sold more of the smaller objects. Small items attract impulse buyers, which make up the majority of people who go to craft markets. I remember this from when my grandma and her sister did craft fairs/markets.
Yes definitely makes sense!! :)
Such cute items!! You definitely could double the prices on your items! I just bought some of the plush yarn to make an amigurumi for my niece-that stuff ain’t cheap!! 🥲 be kind to yourself-consider the cost to make and time spent! Congratulations on your first successful market!! 😊
Awwww thank you sooo much!! I appreciate it❤️❤️❤️
Mushrooms with red or orange tops with white spots are popular on fabric and Knick knacks. Also kitties and puppies will probably do well. Pet parents like to collect things like that. So do people that cannot have pets but still love them and would like to have one. I thought the chicken nuggets were super cute! Truthfully everything was cute but I laughed out loud when I saw the nugget! You’re doing a great job!
Awww thank you so much!! Yes, definitely gonna make some more “pets” next time and add white spots to the mushrooms :)
Very true a friend of mine collects Aussie & Border Collie plushie's.
also, any children at the market will know a cat from afar before they see a frog, yk?
I agree. I don’t have fur babies but like having the kind that don’t require maintenance 😂
You'll rarely sell everything on a market or crafts fair. With every sold item the display looks emptier, gives the customer less to choose from. So your sale was a success❤ It is easier when you can replace a sold item with another item so the display always looks attractive to potential buyers. I like craft fairs because visitors there can give you a feedback of what they like and would like to buy. You can see what they are looking for. Stress and emotional support items - you have a good idea. It's needed. Especially when school restarts in August. A little squeezable toy to hold on to. And for adults pads to support wrist or hand while working on the computer. Good luck and lots of customers❣️
Aww thank you so so much❤️❤️
I would love to hear how much you spent on material and time and how much you made taking that into account as well. I will be doing my first market this year and am starting my crochet early! I love the idea of using the huge skeins of soft yarn!
Awww thank you!! For my next market prep video I'll definitely break down the material costs/time to make the plushies ❤ good luck on your first market!
OMG! I'm dying! Sitting here catching up on my Emotional Support Pickle orders from Etsy (I need to make 11!!) and saw you used my tags for your pickle!! Love it! Thank you SO much and I'm so happy that they are selling well for you. Can't wait to watch more of your videos!
Awww omg!!! Hello!! Yes, these are amazing!!! Thanks so much🥺🥺😭😭❤️
Where do we find your Emotional support pickle pattern?
I support clients with their emotional healing and these would be awesome for my clients
Hi friends!! I hope you enjoy watching my market results video :) sorry if it's a bit chaotic lol next time I'll definitely use my own Square reader/payment lol -- if you have any questions I didn't cover, feel free to comment and I'm happy to answer! Happy crocheting
Hi! What pattern did you use for the pink penguin? I have been trying to crochet one for my sister but I can never find a good pattern
@@moldycarrot9085 I used the one from this one seller on etsy, it was a super cheap pattern too! I linked all of the pattern urls on my "market prep" video hehe :)
I recommend that you type out a list of your items and their prices. Print it and put in on a clipboard. When you make a sale just put a tally mark next to the items that sell. From there, you can easily see which items sell, at which price point. At the end of the market, I put details as to set up, location, where the table was, weather, contact person, traffic, marketing, etc. Then put it in a binder to keep track and compare to next year. I also recommend more signage, more inventory, etc.
I love this comment section. It’s so positive and full of helpful tips for others.
Side note: i was laughing so hard when your cat jumped in the bin and ran off. Don’t know why but that tickled me so much. I kept rewinding that part. Glad she was okay 😂😂
Ikr, everyone is so sweet!😭 And hahaha oh my gosh, I literally couldn't believe I got it on video😂 hahah thank you!!
Thank you for the market update! It's something I'm thinking about doing. I also wanted to say how nice and professional your videos are, I've been watching a lot of crochet content lately and a lot of people have volume issues where it's hard to make out what they're saying, or the quality isn't quite there, or they don't have the same easy flow you do, like you're a natural at being in front of the camera and interacting with people, no awkwardness.
Aw thank you so much, this is so sweet! I really do love filming these video for you guys, it's so much fun! I'm so glad you enjoy them :)
I think undercutting items in person is a common thing to do, it's almost like rewarding the individual for actually putting in the effort of coming in to buy.
Not to mention that it's saving a bit of money that you don't have to spend on shipping.
Also undercutting in person might result in a good experience increasing the likelihood of someone buying your online products to add to their collection. Like a discount or a special. C:
Either way they look amazing and plushies that size are usually a bit pricier so your prices seem very fair. Like compare it to a squishmallow, I'd pay about 20 euro for a small one
Awww thanks so much Liz, love reading your input and totally agree🥰❤️
Your items are so cute. An emotional support pickle. What a great idea! I’d buy one. And a possum.
Awww thank you!!💕
I’ve been thinking about making possums so thank you! I always find it slightly funny when people say “oh I’ll be back” and then get sad when I sell out of something they wanted. Not funny that they are sad but it’s like.. thats the chance you take. I always tell ppl to do whats best for them but the stock you see is normally MOST of what I have. Once its gone its gone. I only back stock like octos and bees currently. I’d love to have more but I’m only one person.
LOL yes! Literally what happened at my market -- exactly we're only one person! But good to know for future markets that people really love the possums xD
The penguins would sell more effectively as a key chain
Omg yes, I regret not making them into keychains!! Next time :)
i just had my first market and i made about $40 and my sister made about $30 and we definitely considered that a success for the crowd. our booth was $25 and we bought food etc. so it was really about meeting people and sharing our art. the crowd was much older than we expected but we got several invites to go to other events. i really appreciate this video and your transparency! happy crafting, friends :)
I love little crocheted plushies as a buyer, and actually going to a market has given me the inspiration to start crocheting myself, so keep doing what you're doing! I do want to say that you would probably see a decent sales increase if you sold keychains. I bought this bear keychain recently and I love it so much! The seller sold it for $5, and I think they could have sold it for more, I probably would have bought it for even $10 because it's something that you can take with you so it's definitely worth it
Omg I have been waiting for this video! I watched you prep and it looked sooo exciting! Hopefully I can get this far in my crocheting journey too. I love watching your videos and ty for being an inspiration for me.
Aww oh my gosh this is too sweet! So glad you enjoyed and feel inspired :') so excited for you!
Oh, I’m so glad this popped up on my feed! My friends and I literally _just_ started making plans for a craft fair table. I really appreciate you sharing all of this information!!
Aww Im so glad you found me :) have so much fun at your market!
Thank you for sharing this with us! It was very helpful to me personally. I haven't found too many crafters this jonest about their profits. This really helped me! ❤
Genna you are so sweet! I love your market setup! I’ve got my first market coming up in a few weeks and this video and your last one make me so excited for it! Also, I was never super into the leggy frogs, but when I saw yours with their arms crossed - I died! So so cute! I must make them now! 😍
Awww thanks Katherine🥰❤️ so happy you enjoyed watching! Im so excited for you, it will be a blast! Good luck!! And hehe you’ll have fun with the froggies
I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and finally subscribed (not just because we almost have the same name). I feel like your videos are amazing and very professional! I was very surprised you didn’t have more subscribers, I feel like you’re going to be pretty popular in a couple years (or sooner). But, the love you have for crocheting and YouTubing are very obvious and really makes me excited to watch you
Aww oh my gosh, thank you so much Jenna!! You are so sweet
i have been looking forward to this since i watched your market prep video! ur videos are my new favorite thing to watch while i crochet :)
Awww!! This is so sweet😭 so glad you enjoy watching hehe thanks so much❤️
SAMEEEEE
I loved watching your video! I like what you said at the end about seeing people's reactions because it's so true!
Aww thanks so much!! It really is the best :)
Possums, sloths, lions, bees, bunnies, birds and cats are popular plushies/ amigurumi critters and flowers/plants in addition to other items you have. Glad you had a successful market! 😊
Aww thanks so much!! ❤️ so many cute animals!
I remember watching this video the day it came out and now all these months later I have my first official (permit needed) market tomorrow!! Your content is such a inspiration! (And huge reassurance when it comes to prices) ❤❤❤
Awww omg I love this! CONGRATS -- you'll do great at your market tomorrow
YES THIS IS SO HELPFUL! Thank you for giving deets!
Awww yay!! Thanks so much, so glad you found it helpful 🥰
Having a range of prices is always good. A lot of things under $20 for impulse buys, but also some around $30 and $50+, even $100+ for people looking for the perfect extravagant gift.
Yes, so true!! thank you! ❤️
This was a great video ! I’m so glad you had a successful market and I can’t wait for my first one !
Thank you so much!! I'm so excited for you, have so much fun with it :)

I loved this video and the market prep one also. I’m opening another Etsy shop soon for crochet. I have one for bows but I’ve taken a looooong break from it due to postal issues and it affecting my reviews. But I’m so excited for ur Etsy tips video. You can never have too many tips in my opinion!
Again this video and the prep video were so helpful to watch! I love your energy and excitement for the market. Its helped me so much for ideas for my first crochet market in August!!!!!
I subscribed and can’t wait to see ur channel grow! Just remember your OG subscribers lol ! ❤❤❤❤
Aww thank you so much Stacey!!
Your work is so fun and cute! Really well done! I loved this video! I'm glad it was recommended to me! Really cool to see what sells and what you priced them for! Great job!!
Awww thank you so much Kayla💕 glad you enjoyed!!
Thank you for this video. I love how you broke down everything. Your display is beautiful.
Aww thank you so much!!
For FOUR HOURS. Girl that's insane. I don't know you but I'm prooooud~! I hope markets go just as well for you in the future.
I know people sometimes don't like people commenting on their prices so feel free to ignore but imo yes some of those were underpriced but I didn't see any overpriced. When you thought that octopus at 20 was too much I thought that was spot on. Because it's also roughly the same size as other 20 dollar items on the table so it seemed accurate etc. Don't always just look at how 'easy' a pattern is to you but price competitively and similarly within your own shop
Aww oh my gosh thank you so so much, this was super sweet and validating lol
i think one of the reasons ur strawberry turtles sell more online is bc of the name! it's so cute!
Aww thats true!! Thank you🥰❤️
When I'm shopping in a market, I try to buy something small from most, if not all, vendors. I like supporting local artisans but can't afford to shell out big for all of them. When I'm buying online, I'm more particular and if I'm gonna pay for shipping anyway, I want the big one! :3
You are so cute! Loved seeing your makes and hearing about how you enjoy selling them.❤
Great job, I think you're dealing with two different types of buyers. Markets people are looking for a bargain they want to bring home lots of cute little goodies and online people are looking for gifts and decor so they're willing to spend more.
Aww thank you so much! yes, that definitely makes sense! ❤️
Genna thank you so much for the video!! I’m 13 and your tips helped me so much at my market, I doubled in profits :) Please keep making these videos!
Aww yay, I'm so happy to hear that!! Wow great job :) and thanks so much for this sweet comment
Yes, thank you for the summary!! Very helpful that you included how many sold vs how many you made of each
Aww yay, I'm glad you found it helpful! Thanks for watching :)
I'm so inspired by people like you I am a beginner crocheter and the idea of selling your things to make real profit is amazing! If I had the money I would buy your big penguin it's sooo cute ❤
I hope some of this stuff is listed on your Etsy soon! I’d love to buy a mini plushie 💛
Aww thank you!! Hehe yes, gonna open up my shop once I'm home from NJ
Following so I can buy a possum 🥰
woohoo a resounding success!!! congratulations :) honestly you planned it out so well and i think the experience was worth the work! ugh so jealous of the people who got to go to the market and get these chubbies on sale.
Awww thanks so much! The bellies!!!
ive just started to organise my own market stall to sell my own amigirumi plushies, this video was actually really helpful as well as the comments so thank you.
Thank you for this video, it was very informative and helpful to me as I prepare for my first Market! I really enjoy your channel I love all the things you make and enjoy your super positive personality!❤
Aww thanks so much! So glad you enjoy and have so much fun at your first market!! Good luck, Im excited for you🥰
Thank you for the summary! I didn’t realize how helpful that was til you did it!!
Also would love a breakdown of selling on Etsy like you said. I’m thinking of starting my own plushie/ crochet business and all the advice and tips I can get are welcome!❤❤
Aww yay, so glad you found it helpful!! I’ll definitely be posting an etsy video next, thank you!!❤️
Congratulations! Shoppers can be fickle 🙂 and what sells good one time might not sell well another time. I still love those little frogs and I'm surprised that the green ones didn't sell. They are really cute and the perfect shade of green.
Thanks so much!! And ikr?! The green froggies were my personal favorite out of all the colors!
The minis comment make sense as a consumer. As an avid craft goer, I usually get little items especially to support local crafters. Do weirder animals. I bought the cutest bat at a market and have been wanting another one but never got the crafters Etsy or name or anything
That makes sense! Thank you!! :) And lol yes the weirder the better!!
I know you probably won’t see this comment but you’re my all time favorite crochet UA-camr that I love to watch while crocheting!!! You videos make me so Motivated to finish my crochet art projects lol! Anyway Tysm for making these longer videos!!
I’ve done art shows and craft shows before and it’s so much work! Also, I feel like I never have enough art to fill my table 😆
I just found your channel, your crochet stuffies are really cute :)
awww thank you so much, you're so sweet ❤ it really is so much work lol !!
Yessss! Congrats that's AWESOME! My first THREE markets I made actually ZERO dollars (selling dollhouse miniatures). Since minis are a niche thing, I'm trying to move on into selling crochet goods. Thank you for the tips!
Awww of course, thanks so much Emily! You got this!!❤️❤️❤️
I loved the set up. Really colorful and gorgeous. I liked the turtles most of all.
Thanks for the tips. I love your creations. So cute!
Aww thank you so much!!❤️
Congrats on your first market. I really think the before and after pictures of the setup would be a great idea. It will also help you on counts because you will be able to count things on this picture.
Thanks so much! Yes, literally kicking myself for not grabbing an "after" picture lol next time! :)
@@crochetbygenna Lol it’s so difficult to remember! My first two markets this year I forgot and was kicking myself😂🤦🏻♀️ I did so good with pics last year but I got very caught up. Hopefully I can remember next time
I was thinking maybe you could add a bbq dip cup with the chicken nugget. It could help people know what it is. Just an idea. I think you did great. Everything is super cute.
Hahaha I loveee that, bbq dip would be soo cute to add! Thank you🥰🥰
This is so amazing how you started the channel this year and already

Awww this is sooo sweet! Thank you so much! Im glad you enjoyed watching❤️❤️
I love your channel. As another crafter id love to give you a suggestion on record keeping. When I do my craft fair I print a list of all my inventory with prices. When I make a sale I put a tally mark next to it. This will help you when you get busy instead of writing down what sold. 😊 youre doing a fantastic job! Keep making videos!
This is great advice, definitely going to do that going into my next market! Thank you sooo much🥰❤️❤️❤️
@CrochetByGenna I'm really looking forward to your esty video. I have an easy shop too but I keep asking myself if it's worth it. Etsy takes so much money from my sales. So I'm curious to see your tips and tricks.
Consistency between online and in-person would be fine. However, if your online shop includes shipping in the price then market needs to be your price before shipping. Another thing I have noticed is that it is possible to have prices set too low at craft fairs. Price is often associated with quality at a craft fair so keep it in mind.
Thank you for the insight!! And thanks for watching🥰❤️
Love your energy in this video plus your bravery in doing markets !! Congrats on your sales :)
Awww thank you soo much😭❤️❤️
I love the turtles, they are beautiful. Honestly if you went to a huge market at a convention center that lasted 2-3 days then you would do 1k of sure but a small market for a few hours, you did great!. I would be super proud of that.
Congratulations on your successful market sales! I love watching your videos. I am a fellow Mississippian and just recently started amigarumi. (I have been crocheting about a year and a half.) I so enjoy crocheting for friends and family. Do you have a pattern for the possum? He (she?) is adorable!!!
Aww thanks so much🥰 Love connecting with a fellow Mississippian :) the possum is from “Kaysplushies” and is the cutest darn thing ever!!
I think when I go to a market, I'm more likely to buy more smaller, cheaper items. It's satisfying to physically get MORE items for "less" money. Plus feeding into impulsiveness is easier that way. :D If I'm going to Etsy or online, I'm actively seeking out something nice, normally have something in mind for a specific person or myself. I don't like when something is, say, $8 but then have to pay $5+ for shipping. I'd rather get a big item that justifies even more expensive shipping, if that makes sense.
That totally makes sense!! Im literally the same way!
I love your enthusiasm and wish you all the best at future markets. The possum was my absolute favorite. 😊
Awww thank you so much❤️
i absolutely love how your not greedy with your prices but at the same time raise those prices a bit!!😂🫶
Hahaha aww thanks so much😂❤️ yes!! 100% next time :)
i love your channel! you have such good vibes. ur vids are fun to watch while crocheting
Aww yay!! Thanks so much, Im so glad you enjoy watching🥰
I'm not an expert, but I think that people would be more likely to buy larger items on Etsy as shipping costs money so they would probably order larger, more expensive items so shipping would be worth it. On the other hand, it may be difficult to carry larger plushies around at a market, so potential customers would be more inclined to buy smaller or mini items.
That makes a lot of sense! Definitely will make a lot more minis next market
The reason the larger items sell on your online market is because the people going there are very niche and know YOU. When they buy something, it isn't just then item, its specifically your time they're spending their money on. Wheres the markets, they don't know you, and they want their money to last for the other stalls. (educated opinion)
That makes total sense, I think next market I will focus on smaller items ❤ thank you!
Love the set up!! Thanks for the video!!!!
Thanks sooo much
This is such a cute video!!!! Thank you for sharing your experience!!!
Awww thanks so much, so glad you enjoyed ❤️
I don’t make 1k or 2k either. My best market was $900 ish but that was like insanity and shocking.
I normally make $200-$400 ish unless market is bad.
So do you recommend starting off with some bigger plushes on etsy?! I was gonna try smaller but my small sell well in person. My big items take a while to move and I have to price lower then I want.
Ah that's amazing, $900 is wild! And honestly my big plushies are my best sellers on my Etsy! I never really sell that many minis lol it's so funny how selling in person vs online is so different. You never know though, maybe smaller items will sell better in your shop
$423 that’s how much my you made
🎉🎉 love your smile and cheerful energy 🎉🎉 just absorbing it all for my first market in less than 2 weeks 😅😅 wishing you the very best and eager to watch you grow ❤ your table was super cute!! Love the chubbies

Congrats that is a win. Your plushies are so cute. You have a great attitude, continued success!!!!❤
Awww thank you sooo much🥰❤️
Do not underprice! You have high quality items and a lot of TLC goes into each of these babies. Please don’t underprice again!
Awww thank you so much! I definitely won't ❤
That little cupcake turtle for $20? Sold! Adorable, nice color scheme, and would make a lovely bday gift!

Aww thank you so much!! Markets really are hard to find if you don't live near a big city, I hope you can do one in the future!
Thank you. Great video. I have not done a market yet. I’m 62 and have issues with back and neck. I’m glad you had a good market. I’m going to check out your shop.
Aw thank you so much! Crochet is very hard on posture/neck, I have to always remember to sit up straight or else I'll get cramps. I'm glad you enjoyed, I hope you can do a market soon!
