Wow what a beauty ! Maybe one day i gonna order one of your axes . You have a big catalogue , i think the camp axe is my favorite . Ciao and thanks for your video !
Been trying to find this Bearded Camp Axe "In stock" for awhile now... lol Cant ever seem to find them in stock. Which must be a good problem to have. My fellow KnifeMaking and Forging friends here in San Antonio (Tobin Nieto, James Helm, Casey Ogg, Mark Cooke) are fans of your Work.
I started buying woodworking tools recently and I needed a multipurpose knife. I did some researche and I've decided a wide worn-out chisel will be better for me. Then I got my hands on the first properly sharpened hatchet and... Who needs a knife anyway! :)
Greetings. how do I order/buy this exact style hatchet? don't see it listed for purchase on your Web site. thanks. update......found one, ordered and hope to have soon!
daspencer51 I tried to order an axe from his website, I was told that it would take 14 months to get to me so I decided to just order a Swedish made, hand forged axe. It got to me in three weeks and I am very happy with it.
Nice axe ! Just wondering , with all the attention to champhers and all, why you don't take a couple more heats to smooth out the hammer marks when forging ?

Beautiful profile on that bearded hatchet. Perfect size for backpacking/camping.
Hey Liam, just curious, why do you use hickory and ash handles? why not pick just one? Thanks
