Thank you for sharing your knowledge on these axes, very much appreciated. I will be ordering a camp axe, does the new one have the bulb end option for the handle? Your enthusiasm is infectious and am looking forward to my new adventure on the path of axes. Keep making the videos!
I honestly like the old one more, not so much of a factory production look to it ,more slim handle and forged look on the head are what would buy me.I bet those old ones will worth fortune in couple years
Dang those Hoffman axes are too pretty to use. I have been watching your channel while setting up my new game room and PlayStation 5, thinking if I got those, I’d hang them on the wall and stare at them while I play God of War 😂
@ThomasMartzak sorry man, didn't mean to rustle feathers. I've forged a few in my time. Yes it's nothing short of work, but christ. All these guys are the same, they only release so many driving up the price. The hipster outdoor growd wiry their cute little UA-cam channels aren't help.
@@chris5957 i would say from everything Scandinavia to German and Spanish and even the Italian axes.... The Hoffman axe is just put together like in the old ways...this axe have never had a loose head...never chipped...never broke... No rust....post 2018 use and still sharp like you won't believe.....so yes it's pricey....but people pay 125 USD for an Arc'teryx polyester t shirt 🤣🤣🤣... lasting 6 months in the gym
Yep, I am not a wealthy man but I will splurge and support a very skilled young man that produces some of the best pieces available. I will not buy from the secondary market. And I didn't really purchase my Hoffmans for me, I got them for my great grandchildren. Yeah, I'm going with that.
