I found this corner of the Internet whilst looking for wheels and now I stay for the enlightenment and humour delivered in a very accessible way. It's time for you to go knock down redbull TV's door and go global. Would be great to see you expand outside the shop like at SEMA. Maybe even do a video at a time attack or drift event and talk about the wheel choices that the professionals pick.

Can you talk about the future of wheels with electric cars and their use of regenerative breaking? Will wheel weight become more important?
I really think, that will be a real issue not just in wheels but also in suspension components and brakes, and even more in swaped vehicles, being that one of the things i want to do, as soon the law alows it.

Great great great video! Very informative for those not in the know, and your explanation is why I will always mercilessly shame people for buying replica wheels. Why would you desecrate your rare JDM Skyline with inferior products made in China? Not to mention the safety factor. Even IF they were as well built (and we all know they're not), replica wheel companies are guily of intellectual property theft, and if you support that, you're just as much a thief as they are.

It's sort of a mind trip to think that some consider a true JDM part (or wheel) came on a right hand drive japanese domestic market'ed vehicle but that's not always the case. For example, 19" Rays for a 370z came on the RHD (Japan) and LHD (America) so technically those wheels are American and JDM, so are they JDM or OEM? (fun to think about) Or like the newer Hyundai Tucson's (a Korean company) have Rays on their Night Edition sold in America and maybe other countries???. Volks are engineered by Rays Engineering so if you have Volks do you saying your running a JDM wheel? So like the thumb says History of JDM and the title of the video says history of japanese aftermarket, it's pretty complicated. Yet the term JDM is often used like "oh your car is so JDM" because they have aftermarket orange reflectors or black wheels or one might say they're going for a "JDM look" when in all actuality what some consider a JDM look and what japanese cars really look like are two completely different things, ...sometimes. lol
