AJ is a very good up-and-coming presenter. Appreciate Autogefuhl giving an overview to how well these SUV's handle rough terrain. Now AJ just needs his own catchphrase to start the videos off.
I have this car about 1 month and half now, i'm really happy with it! I got it in the SamoaOrange color, full option, with the x-perience accessoires with a diesel engine 150hp. Extremely happy and really comfortable for someone like me (i'm in a wheelchair), and to get in and out of the car, it's so easy :-)

Hey guys. Great job! I would suggest you consider also doing some towing tests with cars that have high towing limits, like the Ateca. I regularly tow a 1500kg caravan and I found it hard when looking for a car last year to find reliable towing tests.

This is exactly how Bulgaria looks like now but not only in the mountains :D. I have driven the 1.4 TSI manual and the 2.0 TDI 190 DSG and I must say the manual one felt way more agile and responsive. Could be because I am coming from a manual old BMW.

Thanks for the explanation of how the Haldex works.A pity the borg and warner version of the mk2 haldex doesnt have a filter listed to service unlike the mk1 version.Hopefully not designed to fail at boardroom level?A video of the usual Autogefuhl standard plus watching the camera people run and be covered in snow added to the video

You should make a point of saying that the car is fitted with winter tyres. Idiots in the UK will drive it with summer tyres and expect the same grip in any snow that falls.

wrong infos: at 11:33 length wise: Ateca is not in the middle, it's the smallest from the siblings : Tiguan is bigger, Kodiaq is even bigger (just like Tiguan Allspace), at the top will be the Atlas

AJ thanks for your great review, in particular the stuff on Haldex! I am hoping you guys will be doing a full review of the new Peugeot 3008 which has been launched in the UK. I am unsure which to go for the Ateca or the 3008. My wife feels the front end of the Peugeot has gone too far and is just too aggressive. I've watched Thomas's previews but I lam really looking forward to spending an hour with Autogefuhl going through the 3008 in depth.

Which is more suited for rough roads,this seat or the subaru xv ?

So I would say: Subaru builds the more proper AWD.
But VAG builds the better suspensions

Tiguan! It's the real thing, I prefer the styling, DCC (nice soft ride on "comfort"), Active Info Display, HUD, 3-Zone, memory seats, heated steering wheel, reclining/sliding rear seat, Active Bonnet, Offroad Pack, more trans & engine choices, light coloured interior and contrasting light & dark dashboard. Great video by the way, AJ. Many thanks.

It only comes in automatic. At least in Feb 2019 it does. Whether it had manual 4drive in the past I don't know.

This car is good, but you should not try to make it better than it is. It shows 9l/100k, not just 8

I watched a 24 mins long of Seat advertorial not a car review.. no criticism, not even one.. especially underlining "nothing to ask more" :) I am disappointed

well you should at least mention that the interior is incredibly old looking and extremely dull compared to some of its competitors like the 3008
nemanja milosevic depends on what your definition of "old looking" is. For some people this is a classic clean design and the 3008 a tacky mess, other people will have a different opinion....
Too bad it can't be equipped with a heated steering wheel, come on seat
Go straight to the point next time. You made this video to review about this car. Not talk about awd haldex and what is an suv and how drivers should sit in the vehicle. Everybody knows that and there are better videos about those topic.
And my wife who is sat next to me who doesnt really care about cars just commented "this guy doesn't have an appeal and quite rubbish. Jumping from one topic to another". That sums it all

The engine range is too weak. A stronger gasoline engine is missing. Too bad.

I have a 150hp diesel, i'm really happy, but of course, in the upcoming years there will certainly be a cupra :-)
Stefan Wimmer 150k is not enough? why do you need more? this is not a race car. Comparing to Tucson, Quashqai etc. its powerful :-)
vwfreakjonny Diesel or gasoline? The Kodiaq RS gets the 240 HP Biturbodiesel...
The diesel selection is pretty good. But I still miss an 2.0 TSI with about 200 HP. If a Cupra comes, then the gap to the 1.4 TSI 150 HP would be much too large.
