I like the Tarraco. Here in Italy there’s an offer that gives you the Tarraco for 24k € with Led headlights, touchscreen with smartphone integration, lane and front assist, digital cluster and climate control. Just add 1.000€ for the seven seats option. It’s really a good price in my opinion.

Visited the SEAT branch in Auckland, New Zealand today and tested the Tarraco..truly a great car! But didn't have time to test and compare the Ateca so this was very much helpful 😀

@@autogefuehl my parents decided to go for the 2.0L Tarraco although my bro and i were the one testing it..now just a 3 months wait till it arrives to New Zealand
We actually prefer the Ateca as the Tarraco isn't as good at picking up speed but I guess it is due to the size and weight..however my parents wanted a bigger cabin and potentially fitting 7 people in..so yeah

Just got my Arona 1.6 dsg and best car I have ever owned
I got 2021 Arona and i absolutely love it!
Fantastic piece to watch especially with the bonus feature at the end which was an excellent touch! Considering SEAT is such a design driven brand, it was really interesting to get the designer's perspective on the SEAT suv narrative. Hope to see more pieces like this in the near future and can't wait to see you do a piece on the 2020 Leon when it is unveiled.

Really like that review mate well done. Just bought second hand Tarraco 2.0tdi 150 xellence 4awd with 60000 miles. A bit nervous but car drives amazingly.

I have the Arona 1.6 TDI SE Technology Lux and it's great. Not to big, not too small. Very smooth, great for cruising on the motorway with the adaptive cruise control. Fair enough, it would be nice to have the slightly bigger Ateca but for the price, there is nothing wrong with the Arona. Bonus points for the beats sound system which sounds great.
After 3 years of ownership, how are you finding it now? Asking as I'm interested of getting one and would love to hear from real owners.
@@mjojrjr6231 Interesting timeing, i recently upgraded to the Ateca, had it for around 3 months now. I will say that the Arona was a smoother drive, but only because it was a diesel instead of the petrol ateca i currently have. I can still say though that the Arona was great for the price and spec when i purchased it. I personally don't think the current versions would be the same for the price. I looked at the new version of the arona and realised the one i had at the time had a better spec for the price, hence why i now have an ateca. Which, as i previously stated that something slighly bigger would be nicer. However, i find that to be a personal/circumstantial preference. My final comments would be that if you were to purchase the same model as i had then you would be very happy. In the 4 years i owned it i didn't have a single problem with it other than the hole in my tire on the last MOT/Service which just happened to be the day before the exchange. Which meant i had to pay for a new tyre :(. But obviously thats not the cars fault, only the roads it is driven on.

Great job once again Autogefühl, love your videos. I’m a proud top spec 190hp 4drive Ateca owner from and living in Tarragona ;-). Don’t know if I’ll end up trying the Tarraco as my next car but at the moment I’m enjoying so very much the Ateca experience thet I’ve even bought myself a set of winter tyres and this winter I’ve already “climbed” to Andorra through south of France and Pas de la Casa in the middle of a blizzard which turned to be A LOT OF FUN!

Great review . One of the most eloquent reviewers have listened to . Would have been better to drive a 1 litre version of the Arona. Becomes too expensive with the 1.5. I do like automatics . Have VW sorted out the reliability problems with some of their Dsg transmissions ? By the way , didn't sound like Thomas.

I have had an Ateca as my second car for the past 3 years and agree that it’s a very well thought-out car. So easy to live with: very well-equipped, comfortable and fun to drive; it just did whatever was asked of it. It was a lease car which went back this month and I really miss the practicality.
The VW group did an excellent job uplifting the Seat brand. Their vehicles are nice to look at and also give a vibe of quality, especially for the price.
I am hoping to pick up a brand new 1.5 Ateca Xcellence Lux at the end of the week. I am really looking forward to the tech, especially the Adaptive Cruise Control features.
You are very careful driver every time you change line, quick time you check blind spot which is great

1- is ateca less comfortable than arona? I drove arona and as driver it was comfortable.
2- ateca or karoq? Please I cannot decide.

Good VAG family review. I’ve always been a fan of SEAT's design in all of their vehicles. Brian couldn’t you have given Señor Villanueva the handheld mic given you were wearing a "tie clip" mic? Just not your usual professional standard. No?

@@autogefuehl In Tarraco and I'm wondering that myself.I couldn't do it in my test vehicle and I saw in couple of other videos that it can't be done, but in your video at for example 13.29 we see a map on both screens :) Thanks

And what about the Audio system sound quality. I compared the Arona Audio sound quality with the Ateca and it's way better than the Ateca Sound system. In fact even with the Beats upgrade it doesnt sound well. So it's not just the latest software its laking but to my opinion the complete Media system in the Ateca is just not as you may expect in it's class. Damn shame.
Interesting. Yeah the beats system can be too bass heavy
@@autogefuehl Did you experienced this? As all complaints in forums on the Beats system are abouth the fact that the bass is hardly notable. I tested this and noticed exactly the same.
Had it recently in the Polo, did turn down the bass output
@@autogefuehl Ok, so if it's the same beats upgrade pack it has something to do with the soundsystem itself.... I thought it might have something to do with the thickness of the Ateca bottom plate in the trunk. Maybe thats demping to much?

What is the point of making a car with other car's platform? Because is cheaper and would succesfully fool anyone? What does it make it so special than the original? If i buy a Huawei and a Honor phone, what is the difference? Why whould i buy a 3 series gran turismo instead of a 4 gran coupe. Please wake up and dont be fooled by small estetic changes.

The concept designer guy Xavi has a pointless job, Seat nowadays only seem to actually build boring SUVs which are less stylish than their Audi/VW/Skoda brothers, and lower quality! Where did it all go wrong?
