Most likely gas diluting the oil , or shitty rings , GDI is garbage , I have a sonata on its 3rd motor and the last 20k it was eating 6-7 qts every 3k , got 150k out of the 2nd motor doing 3k oil changes and should be put in a museum with that mileage!

I had a ford and gm service technicians say their cars are doing the same and it's normal just check your oil like your supposed to. I still say bs
