I like the blind spot warning, but it would be more helpful if it was displayed on the large screen instead of those little areas, it's really hard to see while driving.
@@CarsWithSteve Sorry this is a little bit late, but I do agree with you, but I would honestly make it so when HDA is active the whole lane goes red or the lane line on the corresponding side to go red or something more than just that little like half circle type thing.
Thank you. I will look at the video several times. Looking in the book is difficult. SLOOOOOW down. I know you are excited. This video helped me to understand a few things much better. When you set cruise control, you said I believe when moving. That is not soo safe, so can you clarify. We have a 2023 SEL Palisade.
@CarsWithSteve I found the "pages" as I like to set destination trips when vol. Where do I set it to do the whole trip. I found cumulative from fill, I tried to toggle on those 2 longer buttons. I. Gonna look at video again. Thanks
In the "pages" section of the cluster screen, use the up/down to move to subscreens. There are 3 counters.. one for accumulated info since the car was started, one for the current trip and one for total trip info
@CarsWithSteve hi, I found that section fine and found the trip area. Now I can't get back to it. It shows up when the car is turned off and gotta look quick. I'm gonna set up a time with our sales person as well.
@@CarsWithSteve really liking it. It was for my wife as she wanted a new vehicle. All the technology is impressive. Really like the ambient lighting and the HUD.
Excellent explanation, Thank you! I have one question at bottom of cluster it keep showing the current consumption, this bar that shows the MPG, do you know if is there a way to remove it?
Thanks Marcio, appreciate that! The consumption bar is locked in place unfortunately. Surprisingly not many manufacturers let users adjust the contents of the screen which is a weird choice
Some models of the Palisade do have a different clusters. There's a smaller 4.2" analogue with the option for a larger 12.3" fully digital. The SEL has the smaller one standard with the larger if you opted for the Premium Package
It's a setting in the infotainment screen! You can have remote start last for different times, depending on the setting you've chosen. Don't have a video shot on the media screen for the Santa Fe but there are a few videos on my channel for different Hyundai vehicles that have a similar screen. Check out this one on the Palisade: ua-cam.com/video/WlnIW9V8H50/v-deo.html
Do you know how to lock the time so it doesn’t change? I live less than 1/2 mile from the time zone line and it’s frustrating never knowing what time the thing is showing. We turned off the GPS clock setting but it still changes times
Wow, that's such an odd issue to be running into haha. Curious, does the setting in your media screen reset back to GPS Clock being on every time the car is restarted? Going through the media screen clock (either pressing the clock or through settings) disable GPS Clock, then change the hour to something random, leave the screen and then go back to change the setting to the real time
@@CarsWithSteve yeah it doesn’t matter what time I set it to. As soon as I cross the time zone it changes an hour back. It’s frustrating honestly. I just want to lock my time to Eastern so I know what time it is without worrying if the clock dropped back to central time. At least when my phone is plugged in and I’m using car play it uses the time from my phone
I had a 2020 sel palisade and was able to have it beep when parking and I was to close in front and the side. My new 2023 xrt I have not figured out how to do that. Is this function still available? I got spoiled lol
The XRT doesn't have the forward or side sensing systems available unfortunately! Definitely a useful feature but there's no way to add it in aftermarket on the XRT trim
No that sound in this video is what our 2021 Kia Telluride makes, I think it is because depending if you have CarPlay setup or not, I think it is different.
Usually by going out for dinner first... Lol.. but on a serious note it could be because of the trim level. The power liftgate isn't standard across the whole vehicle lineup. The SE/SEL US trims and Canadian Preferred only have a manual liftgate
I changed the picture on my bluelink app but it seems to not change on my profile picture in my 2023 palisade ( It is not displaying it as an option) Is there a trick to it?
I'm in a 2024 Palisade soon and am planning on re-shooting this video! Stay tuned in late April ;) but in the meantime you can try changing the playback speed to 0.75x
Excellent description. I just bought a 2023 Palisade Calligraphy and I’ve learned more just watching these videos.
Thanks Anita, glad the video helped! How are you enjoying your Palisade so far?
Excellent overview and light years ahead of the dealer explanation. They tossed me the keys and said, "good luck".
Wow, great customer service 🤣 Glad the video helped! What trim level of the Palisade did you go with?
lol
I just found your channel and I think you do a great job.
Thanks James, appreciate that!

It was an interesting choice how they display the blind view monitor in the cluster. Definitely makes sense for it to take up more space though

I loved it, I must go and try all of mine out, I have been trying to get back to the main screen.
There's so much tech the Palisade has! How are you liking your Palisade so far?
We absolutely love it, haven’t been shown a lot of the features, so we enjoyed your video. Thanks.
You're welcome!

Cruise takes a bit to get used to but easy enough to flip on when you're moving

@@CarsWithSteve Thank you, sir.
Under drive info on my car. What is that blue line that goes between 0 and 50. It is at the bottom of that screen

How come the voice command sounds different when you press the button cause on the 2022 model it sounds the same😊
Good question! Maybe some updated sound for the 2023 model 🤔

I have 2023 Calligraphy and. my car displays km/L instead of L/ km. how i can change it? i can't see anything in manual
Measurement units are adjusted through the infotainment screen - check this video out: ua-cam.com/video/WlnIW9V8H50/v-deo.html

Makes sense.. they're 2 different systems. Don't believe there's a way to carry a custom profile pic over to the Palisade
Is the map that you selected Google Maps?
That was the factory nav option!
Can you get rid of the BLUE line at the bottom of the screen that tells about fuel economy? Very distracting
Unfortunately not.. there isn't a way to customize the cluster in Hyundai vehicles
Went too fast for someone who just bought a palisade 😢 just bought a 2024

All of this and the the steering telescopic not motorized/electronic .
One of the few features that the Palisade and Telluride are missing 🤷
Volume is too low; can barely hear your video unfortunately.
Turn your volume up on your phone or computer lol
its just you, its fine for me lmao
