@@cfoust100 no. you can't depend on consistent grit size in the desert. That's why the airbox is a box. you remove the filter and pour in your choice of blasting media. That way you have total control of how much grit you want to polish your combustion chambers with.

Been waiting on what feels like a month for a new video on the build! I don't think I can even refresh my page anymore because ive done it so many times just waiting for anything from the honnigan to pop up! I'm voting for Vargas! But B rad is gonna at least put up a hella of a fight! can't wait to watch the next episode!
If you make a hole, you ice the part, get it out, let it get slightly warm (it's a touch thing) and then tack it and let it rest. You can then go on with your business. Personally, i just use a transfer caliper (the ones that have a scale are the best for this) to measure the thickness of the wall. Starrett makes ones that are curved and long, they fit like glove inside the coolant passage and give an accurate thickness. Alternatively, you can use welding wire, bent to look like a transfer caliper that will fit the passage, then you mark two spots on the arms of the caliper you've just made and using a ruler, you measure the distance when you've closed it, take it out, and check it using the ruler to close at the marked spots, what you saw when it was inside. If you really have the time to do it, then you just spot weld a perpendicular piece of wire as you'd have it on a real caliper and then just mark it so you know where you are.
That's because there not any specific port it's just him opening it up you don't think he'd really show us his port designs no chance in hell that's a better kept secret than we're f****** God's buried
Yo Mike (East coast dorito Papi), is that a carbide attachment on your die grinder. And do you follow that angle from factory? Thanks for the instructional lesson. : )
Currently considering buying an FB. Debating whether or not to port it myself. I'm confident in my ability when it comes to assembling engines, but I've never ported anything before.
Have you ever tried dimpling the runners before? Wonder if it would pick up any more power. Because I've seen some guys pick up a few HP from dimpling the intake runners on pistons engines.

I wish this was a permanent show with these 4 guy's.
For now, i feel that season 1 was better.
Vargas brothers and Jose are ok but Brad is totally screwball.

Damn Vargas salty.. "Just port the damn thing mannnnn". That brotherly love.
now watch brad do a port and polish by simply filling the oil with cam guard, taking the air filter off and driving through a desert
ZombieByte bahaha
And he will swear it's what they used to do back home and then give a Brad science lecture on how it works
Wait that's not a good way to do it?

Where's the audio issues during that nails-on-chalkboard scribing when you need it

Or just because this is a demonstration video, hard to demonstrate when you cover up what you intend to teach.
Can we get the Vargas brothers on more videos? These fuckers have me dying every time I watch 😂😂😂
Just a tip i learned from my dad, if you want to polish your port. Wrap a sandpaper sponge around your grinding tool, stick it in there and polish it
I learned a similar tip about ports, where you wrap something around your tool before you stick it in 😉
