Central Ave RR Crossing, Bergenfield NJ (4/16/23)

This video was at the Central Ave RR Crossing in Bergenfield NJ along the CSX river line. This crossing has the last mini bell along any CSX line and there are only a few left still ringing. This being one of them still going strong! I am glad to be able to still film one! The signal on the right has a Safetran gate mech and Safetran incandescent lights! Unfortunately, one of the new NEG LED gate lights on the main gate on the right are out. I've noticed that NEG gate lights have been being made cheaper. Two gate lights on New Bridge Rd's gate went out and had to be changed and a new one at Haworth Ave went out and had to be changed. This one also went out quickly. The pedestrian signal on the right also has a Safetran gate mech. The signals on the left are newer except for the separate signal on the left with Safetran incandescent lights. The main signal on the left also has a Safetran gate mech and WC Hayes LEDs. The pedestrian signal on the left also has a Safetran gate mech. Also, a few months ago back in November, a car was hit here by a southbound train. It appeared to be a Tesla that was completely demolished. There are still little parts and pieces of glass to the south of the crossing. I didn't hear anything more about it. However, when the car was hit, it broke the main gate on the right that used to be an older slanted stripped gate. It also appears that the car was pushed into the pedestrian signal on the left causing it to lean. It also had to get a new gate. This is a pretty cool crossing!
