Long mixed freight train with five engines including a DPU on the CSX River line!

the bell at this crossing would stay off when I was first installed and now when the gate go down the bell stops and then comes back on for some reason.

The bells on this line are supposed to shut off when the gates get down. You can hear that happen here. The reason it comes on is that the main gate on the other side of the tracks is pretty big and the gate mech does not come down all the way so the gate isn’t leaning to the ground. The gate mechs need to get Down all the way to stop the bells. I think that’s why the bells come on after the gates get down.

@@jamestrainsandmore9117 your smart, most people do not know how a gay mec works and that as the gate goes down there is contacts on the rotating cylinder that tell the bell to shut off. When power goes out a set of magnets holds a fail safe and the magnets release to let the gate go down
