FIXING AC LEAKS ON A HUMMER H2 .

in todays video im starting to track down a freon leak i had noticed a little while back since i want to fix all my possible ac line leaks before the summer heat get out of hand . thanks alot for watching .

put a small amount of dish soap in the valve steam area of the low and high side. if it bubbles you found a leak. I highly doubt that you will see a freon leak.

I had the same problem, and besides the leaks, the compressor was shot. So I had the compressor replaced this past February. Good luck my friend 👍🏾

You need to throughly clean the areas that seem to be leaking. Use some Brake Kleen to clean those areas so that you do not end up doing repairs that are not necessary. You also need to probably replace the controller if it doe not control the AC system. Use the Tech2 to check the door sweeps and values to see what the ECM sees. I have a new controler I bought off of eBAY but seems 2 years later it does something kinda wonky..when you start up the AC the right side vents are hot...if I restart the car..then they go cold...LOL! I have replaced all the actuators. I cut the tube under the dash and found some plastic ribbed tubing (from HomeDepot) and spliced it in to replace the factory one piece tubing. Lucky for me I have some slight leak but refill works for the time being. Check out the Hummer Forums also...I did as its a good source of info so you don't get in too deep!

I had to replace my compressor and I took care of it in February.
