I have the same issue where it randomly just starts misfiring. But when I had them check the codes, it just came back as random misfires, no specific cylinder. They offered to replace all the plugs, wires, and coils for $1200. So i knew it was time to face my fears and figure out how to get to those rear plugs. Thanks for the how-to. I have 367000 miles on this Venture and I'd like to get it to 400,000. I also liked seeing your MR2 in the background. I have one of those that needs an engine but that's a project for another day.

I Just had the exact problem happen to me last Saturday, Engine was running fine and suddenly The engine light started flashing randomly, and then it was running rough, with no acceleration. I managed to pull into Advanced Auto to have code checked, and it pulled up as Cylinder 4 Misfire. I purchased a set of spark plug wires and when I got home I changed just sparkplug wire #4. It seemed to fix the problem with the Engine light, but after 2 days the light started flashing again. I watched your video on Multiple misfire fix and took a wild guess that the coil was bad. I ordered one from Ebay and replaced it. I noticed that the coil you replaced has a rusty looking terminal on it. Well, guess what, that's exactly what mine looked like after I removed it! Only problem was, the terminal that was rusty was for Spark Plug # 1! #4 wire and terminal looked ok. The #1 had a rusted out terminal and rusted plug inside the wire. I replaced the Coil and used sand paper wrapped on a screwdriver to sand the inside of the plug. Now everything works great. I'm going to take it to my mechanic to replace the spark plugs and the other 5 wires, It's worth it to me to pay someone else to replace the wires and plugs. I already scraped the skin off my hands pulling off the #4 spark plug wire and replacing the ignition coil. Thanks for the Video, it really helped!

I got the same van. I changed the heads and replaced the air intake as it had a crack. I swapped my rocker arm and rods with another cylinder that had no misfire, I changed the timing chain, checked compression on the misfiring cylinder all good, swapped coil pack with know good, changed plugs and wires, changed vacuum line and gromet along in the back on the top valve cover, no dice. the only thing left that I can think of is hydraulic lifter so I got a set of those and will check the lobs on the upper came when I change that. Hope that fixes it for me. I thought about changing the ICM but I will now for sure. thanks for the video and good luck

The first coil on my left (5,2) is visibly cracked. Can I assume it's completely gone? But it's showing 5.69 ohms, the other two are 5.63 and 5.72.
    Any suggestions anyone?

I had the three plugs and wires but only was 2 misfire code for cylinder 2. Now it's running worse. I going to the other ones changed tomorrow. O'reilly sold me the plugs but could they still be the wrong plugs . Maybe? So at a lost . I wished I would of left it alone but trying to fix a misfire made it worse.

Hmm I wouldn't know. I started out with one bad coil pack in this video and ended up having to change two as the second one broke during replacement of the first one. Only reason I am keeping this van is because I still haul stuff with it but other than that it is just a hot mess waiting to happen :)

If you haven't figured out what went wrong already, I've got an idea what went wrong. If you are still using the factory spark plug wires, they probably broke when you pulled the wires off the plugs. The silicone on the factory wires is very soft and tears easily, plus the connectors will almost always come off the end of the wire when you pull it free from the plugs. It happened to me and it happened to 3 other people I watched on UA-cam changing the wires.
