Thanks so much for your video. I have a 2003 Chevy Impala also. I’ve already replaced my spark plugs. And now I need to replace my spark plug wires.
I have a 2004 Impala. I have the same issue
Thank you. I was looking for a video on how to change the coil pack. You fixed that problem really quick.
Glad it helped
Glad you are doing well. I always enjoy your videos.
Blessed that u back on your feet any getting back to it👊
Thanks.. glad to be back at it.
Glad to see you're on the mend. Looking forward to the next video. Take care!
Thanks 👍
i know it is quite off topic but do anyone know of a good site to stream newly released series online ?
@Adriel Nicholas flixportal xD
@Derek Brandon thank you, I went there and it seems like a nice service :D I appreciate it !!
@Adriel Nicholas You are welcome xD
Randomly came across this. Good basic diagnosis, very informative for less experienced people. I'm a tech myself. I agree on putting OEM parts on. Cheap parts cost more in the end. Obviously there are exceptions. If an oem part is $500, aftermarket lifetime warranty part is $100, I don't mind doing the cheaper route. But it's only if there is a good warranty.
Yep, OEM tends to be best for most things, essential when it's a sensor. Sometimes it's just not financially possible (cats, etc)
I had a 04 impala with same engine. Lasted me over 350k. I had to rebuild the transmission but only after I did a transmission oil flush on it. Big mistake on my part. Most mechanics will tell you to never do a transmission flush period. Found this out after I had the procedure done.
Good video, informative thankyou 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for your help...
I have a 2005 chevy malibu. 3.5 v6. Replaced plugs wires coil still p0303. Fuel test read within spec. CEL flashes when driving over 30mph. Idles fine in park idles rough when put into gear. Thoughts?
Sounds like a dead misfire. If you've check spark and fuel the next thing would be to do a compression test on the # 3 cylinder.
Hello! This is my current situation: 2005 Chevrolet Impala Codes P0300 P0036 P0140 P0141. Any suggestions?
Did you check your PCV valve & L & U shaped PCV hose(s)?
Can you do replacing Ignition Coil Module connectors please
Hey chuck, ur getting to look like Santa Claus! All I need is a red and white hat! 😆 jk. Great info. Oem for all electrical items IS a must. Thanks!
Great to see you back Charles. Hope all is well. Just curious, which state do you live in?
People's republic of New Jersey
haha
Hey chuck can doing a flood crank start damage my car before making sure the fuels pressure checks out?
You mean a clear flood so the engine will crank, but not start (fuel cut off). Shouldn't cause a problem.
Similar to 3.8 Olds intrigue
My baby has the same problem 😭😭. I need her for work 😭😭😭 (she can make a grown man cry) 😭😭
My baby 03 is doing same thing. Had plugs and wires changed last week. Check engine light now blinking and misfiring terribly. Not able to drive currently
@@nanaof7preciousgrands115you end up figuring in it out? This is the 2nd time this is happening to me and last time it was the coils.
I drive same car in gold looks like yours
Got my plugs and wires changed. Now I'm getting a random misfire. 04 Chevy Impala 3.8...
Same
Did you ever find issue? I just did my plugs and wires and got the same thing going on
did you label your wires when you took them off? alot of people dont and end up putting the wires on the wrong plugs. mainly 3 and 4
Might be fuel injectors
When I get to 40 mile per hour I loose power
Hard to say what that could be.
Its probably the valve covers
