@Eddie Trincas He probably got more of the focus toward the front. Which is probably a good place to start, since when you take pictures you see the front. If you're taller than people, they aren't gonna see the top as much as they would see the front. Usually people will have to go back at least twice to fully fill in everything, possibly three times
Takes a lot of courage to show your insecurities and thanks for sharing it for people going through the same thing! Dont listen to the haters. It's a good result and aslong as your happy that is all that matters!
No matter what people say about the hairline, you look really really good. Honestly, only people who know about transplants will notice the un natural hairline. But you still look way better now than before. I hope to one day get one myself
I think you got a good result. Is it perfect? No, but a lot of natural hairlines aren't perfect either. No one is going to stare intently at your hairline because you have those awesome blue eyes. That's a fact!
I think his hairline looks more natural than other hair transplant which shows experience and quality of surgeon and achieving hairline 100 natural isn't possible no matter how much a good transplant u do because no one can match nature thats true
your results are amazing, ignore the haters. what matters is that you got your confidence back. Living with a receding hairline is horrible especially in a young age, im only 27. lived with shitty hair for the past few years, and finally decided to do something about it and got a HT 68 days ago. most people will not be able to tell you have gotten a transplant unless they know about it, meaning people who have had hair loss themselves. congrats once again man i hope to have a similar result as you.
I am a "bald guy". I started shaving it off when I was 19 (22 now) when it started to get thinner on the back and I do not envy him. I mean, the result is great and I'm happy for him that it worked out so well, but I would rather be/stay bald than having to worry about my hair again. After a transplant the (not transplanted) hair still keeps thinning so the fight is not won. You can make it stay longer with shampoos, diets, massages etc but that is so time and money consuming. I respect anyone's decisions but I don't think, the ones that shaved it off already and accepted it do envy good transplant results.
Yea unfortunately there’s a lot of envy in these comments. It’s sad really because it means they are unhappy with their own appearances. I’m really pleased that he’s sorting something about himself he doesn’t like. I don’t think women care that much about hair when a man looks as good as he does
Hi Matt, i just wanted to reach out and say that your content is brilliant and you have really helped me along with my recent decision to get a hair transplant. You have also inspired me to blog my entire journey in the hope that someone may find my content as useful as i have found yours. All the best, and i cannot wait for your next upload :)
Matt it's so much better than before I would take your result no problem. I go for my 6000 hairs fue in Budapest In a few weeks i would be happy to achieve anything close to your result.
love seeing all your progress videos Matt. Fantasic effort and it looks so much better today. So everything you have done has been worth it. Dont listen to the idiots. Keep striving, it looks way better bro!
It's so confusing so many clinics in Turkey... Which one should you go for... I want one regulated by the Turkish government or health Council... I'm willing to pay more for a reputable clinic... Any recommendations please help me.... I'm from the UK....
I used a hair system for a while and Im glad I did because the first thing you want to do when you have been receding is go for thickness, as soon as the guy walked in the room I was like ' the thicker the better'. However as soon as you get the system on, you realise that thickness not only looks fake but psychologically , you cannot get your head around the massive change. This means you will never have confidence with it. I gave it up after 3 months. If I ever go for FUE treatment, with this knowledge in mind, I will ask for a natural look , no double hairs and no making up a new hairline. Single hairs and stick as close to my original hairline as can be traced. Its also important to make sure a proper surgeon is performing it and that they have knowledge in folical placement. If they insert the new folical in the wrong direction , you get a 'dolls hair' effect around the hairline
Hey Matt, can you tell us which clinic did you choose in Turkey and if you need to be putting medication shampoos / creams / sprays after the hair transplant for life or for some time only? If i dont put medication after the transplant will the follicles survive ?
You look much better, but unfortunately, it also very visible that you had the procedure. The problem is the front line: too many multiple-hair grafts and the hairline is too straight. It can be fixed but I would consider a more expensive clinic to do the job. It's really worth it.
I agree melon. The front is the worst bit and what an inconvenience whenever you shower. His hair wasn't too bad in the first place and as he grows older the artificial hair will increasingly look out of place.
@@letsgethair I believe that all you need is one more procedure with the true master. You'll be set for the next 10 years and then there will be cheap stem cell based treatments. Good luck!
looks good, but what if we don't use the minoxidil? minoxidil has other side affects than the dry scalp and I'm not keen to it. you reckon we can stop losing hair not using it with the other stuff?
Great video Matt. I have a question and some future video suggestions. Question: Did you experience any noticeable thickening of your hair from month 18 to month 24? I ask because I had a fue 20 months ago to restore a receding hairline and bald crown. The hairline came in within 10 months, but the crown has been very slow in coming in. But I’m noticing that now at the 20 month mark, the crown hairs are getting a bit thicker. Suggestion: maybe do a video related to one of these topics: 1. to fast growers vs slow growers 2. Reasons for slow hair growth in the crown. 3. Optimal lighting conditions to photograph and document hair growth accurately after a hair transplant.
Hey Matt, is the rear of your scalp in the video, shaven off to show the donor area after 2 years, or has that been the way it was since the operation-very short?
Thanks for the informative update on your two year anniversary Matt, looking great. if you can do a video on supplements that would be awesome as well man, thanks.
I'm 23. My hairline has been pushed back and I've lost hair on my crown area also. I'm thinking of going turkey to get a procedure done. What would you have told the surgeons before you got it done? For better results. Thank you in advance my freind
I did a hair transplant 2 years ago and the results were great. Ive noticed in the last 2 months that the hairs transplanted and the VERY front (right on where the hairline begins) and getting very very thin. did you have the same experience?
Why do you only have around 5k donor capacity when example doctor Koray Erdogan in Turkey on average extracts around 7 to 9k on most of his clients.. and your donor likes solid too? Thank you
I think you should go for another session to dense the front line, it doesn't look natural at the root of the hairline. Still better than it was, but..it doesn't look good enough
How would it be that after a hair transplant (say in 5, 10, 20 years) more dense hair one would have with up to 4 times a month topical treatment? How would it be like our hair to improve over the years?
yes I use them. They are ok for transplanted hair. If you get a hair transplant, it doesnt mean that you can not use any hair styling products now. Everything can be used on transplanted hair in moderation.
You said that the minoxidil hair restoration doesnt contain alcohol but in the description on their website its writes that there is Polyalcohol and Polyethylene Glycol so i dont undestand what you re saying bro
Is it possible to style your front hair down and not up how you and everyone does? Or would it look crap? I like that haircut much better and your hairline will not be visible and would look much more natural
How many grafts in total have you had and also what mm punch size was used mate? I’m worried about my donor showing dots as I’ve been quoted around 3500 grafts (with a 0.9-1mm punch) and I keep my hair short just like yours yet my skin is slightly more tanned than yours.
