This was 1981 at Fireman’s Memorial Park in Hempstead , Long Island NY. I’m there in the crowd , it rained but we had a blast. . In fact , I bought her album out of the WLIR “Air-van” and still have it. Also , went to see Greg Kihn Band a few weeks later , same spot!

Played the solo on the song Life For The Taking. He had his pilot’s license since he was young. He quit playing in bands and started flying commercial jets for a living, then he started playing again. A really good guitar player.

They're definitely the best looking. Now, her band members have spiky hair and are filled with tattoos. I don't know why so may rockers adopt that look. As this shows, one can rock without that. That being said, I might hate tattoos, but I love Joan's. They are very tasteful, as far as tattoos go. I just hope she sticks to what she's got and doesn't over-do it with more. Besides, I love her skin.

I was not really thinking about the Lyrics to Bad Reputation, but my dance teacher said I could not use it for a recital, we decided on I love Rock and Roll. Then it ended up being a song the whole class did a routine too. I wanted that too be my solo, and acrobatic number. When I taught in dance studio, and I used I love Rock and Roll, by Britney Spears, the students wanted the Joan Jett version, because Joan Jett put her soul into her song.
Saw her at the Boathouse in Norfolk, VA around 84. SRO and Joan and the band were on fire. I threw my winter scarf to her but she didn't put it on. Haha
I saw them at the Liberty Bowl in 1982. They didn't play very long (like 7 or 8 songs, the headliners where Kansas and REO) but they definitely rocked it.
