Hi there, l have been having pvcs 5 years now, from 200 to 1700 a day, depending on a day. I am 44 years old and this scares a crap out of me. Went to cardiologist, psychiatrist, you name it, everything seem to be fine. But my fear never leaves me and brings more pvcs , like fuel on fire. I am still learning to live with this thing.
It’s like watching myself when you have the panic attacks, I react the same way, even when you say you are stuttering and think you will have a stroke, i get those same thoughts
Thank you for showing the honest side of living with anxiety and agoraphobia. Your courage is truly inspiring. Like you, I've also had severe anxiety when it comes to my ectopic beats. I had an EKG done which came back normal, but never a halter monitor test. I definitely agree that those of us with anxiety are much more in-tune to our bodily sensations, especially those that are heart related. They can certainly be frighting at times, but we have to remember that just because something is uncomfortable doesn't make it dangerous. Looking forward to seeing more of your improvement! 💪
That moment when you cried for help in your panic attack broke my heart bro... ive been there and i know that feeling and you just hope someones near by or that someone will find you and your brain starts spiralling i can see how hard this is for you but thank you for sharing because now i dont feel like a complete weirdo
Thats exactly how you beat them. I do it by pushing as hard as I can when I climb hills on my mountain bike, which is funny since that's what caused me to get a fear of elevated and extra heart beats. I fainted after a really hard mtn bike ride a few years ago and have had a fear since despite having a normal heart study. Im pretty much over it by way of exposure therapy like you. Keep doing what you're doing. You got this!
Its crazy how i've had panic attacks in the past that i got through with mostly no problem, but im 38 and just started randomly having these ectopic beats last week in the middle of day, and ive theyve stuck with me everytime I start walking. Already scheduled echocardiogram, wearing a holter monitor, got a new smart watch to monitor things. Its crazy how fast life can change. But now im learning there are loads of people dealing with these regularly, i had no idea
@etzioschmetzio2168 They are normal for most people, it's just that most people never notice or feel them. Hope your heart study goes well and there is nothing wrong with you. Chances are you will be just fine.
Nice to see someone else with a similar situation! I almost fainted multiple times when I was weightlifting (never had ever felt like fainting at all in my life) and got extremely scared that I had some sort of heart problem, even though it was probably just overexertion, all the tests I've done have been good but now I am scared of anything that raises my heart rate...
Story of my life. Went from college athlete. Then 20s till 30 I was solid and 31 went to hell. Just a mess. At 31 I went for a jog 3 Miles at end hyperventilating. Then just went down hill for 20 years. Sun light started stressing me and causing paps. Even cold. Now in my 50s hot showers. What this gentleman does pushing limits staying uncomfortable really does keep things at bay
@anxiety_fitness thank you. .. it's been all over the place. Went from exercise intolerance to sitting in traffic "can't breath feeling" which turns into a 10min 140beats per min panic attack. After 10 Er rides to hospitals you just give up. I can see how people abuse benzos. I myself was very lucky not to abuse them since my mother warned me how Much worse bezo withdrawal is vs panic attacks. So I never used a benzo more than 2x a week only has needed. Never got higher than .5mg never in 20years... I recently went to a psychiatrist few weeks ago (have not been in 15years) just to see if with technology maybe a new therapy. Wrong he wanted me on xanax 3x a day for 3 weeks and a SSRI. The xanax was to control me temporarily while SSRI kicks in tskes 2 weeks(1 week to come down off xanax) I was shocked. I told him what if I get bad withdrawals.from xanax he said " you won't the way I prescrib them" i flat out told him no way in hell taking that chance! These docs are crazy. .. I do understand SSRI help.so many people like PPI med do too(stomach acid meds fornlife) But these benzo eventually make matters worse
I was active my whole life, runner for a good portion of my adult life. Now 31, I’ve had weird palpitations and chest pressure for about 2 months now. I hate it. Using a holter monitor now, waiting to see the results…I wish you good health!
@timelessadventurer exactly what I experienced. It can b a total mind fck since u were extremely active! My only advice is do not give up. Keep pushing. Don't over work and don't push new goal but understand something is going on and MOST likely malfunction of the autonomic system... If I could go back in time 20years I would stay active but that does not mean PUSH to new goals.... I would 1. Get clearance from cardiologists first, but don't let them use u as a ginnie pig. 1 good Reg.stress test., holster monitor for 3 days, and a few ecgs. And the echo cardio gram(ultra sound of heart)I would NOT DO A NUCLEAR test of any kind UNLESS U HAVE CHEST PAIN. Chest pressure is not chest pain but I am not doc.. also don't freak out if they find some sort of artifact on ecg aka ekg like inverted t wave of RIGHT BRANCH BLOCK. ALSO seek 2nd opinion. Finding do happen and my past 20 years they have found stuff and 5 years later don't find stuff 2. Do not let them out u on SSRIS OR BETA BLOCKERS!! 3. Ensure everyday you have your electrolytes before u run or do cardio. Sodium. Potassium and magnesium. Coconut water is almost perfect or get one of those powders. Reason is if u do have dysautonomia even lite case like me studies show electrolytes help! 4. Get weekly sun exposure 2 to 3 times a week atleast 30mins 5. Try and stay away from process foods and bad carbs and sugars. 6. Low carb life style. 7. Moderate weight training! 8. And of course sleep!! 6 to 8hrs But go back to #1 And ensure u get clear by a cardiologist!! Don't be afraid to get 2nd opinion if your cardio docs wants u to do some crazy test..
My heart went out to you when you called for help if you'll pardon the pun, thats exactly how it is. Awaiting my results for the 4wk halter monitor, your videos are superb and helping keep them coming!
You are truly inspiring! I have lived with ectopics for about 15 years, actually it’s the opposite of living. They ectopics and panic cycle has stole so much life from me. The last 3 years have been the worst, I can be rational and no they are not going to hurt me until they start happening and then all rationally goes out of the window. Keep posting, it has been a life line for me
Been suffering with this for 3 years. Had echo, 24 event monitor, 24 hour tape, ecgs, blood tests. All clear. But I still worry it’s crazy! Hoping to get a stress test. It doesn’t help that genetically my family have heart problems. But these videos are super helpful. Thankyou!
Great episode. I thought I have a problem with my heart. I had a monitor for 1 month and after that a stress test. They said I have PVCs and some PACs but not more than 10 to 20 / a day. What bothers me so much is the fact that I can feel all 20 of them in a day. After the stress test the cardiologist said that my heart is perfect and whenever I get my heart acting weird again just think that I have been checked out. This is a great video and well explained. I was afraid of my 10 to 20 ectopics a day, I can t imagine how are you dealing with loads of them but you re so strong and inspirational. Thanks
That's interesting! Even though it's much less, that probably makes it more scary when you notice them, for me I have them all day so I can kind of get used to it, it's the couplets and stuff that really scare me now. But then again 10/20 is absolutely nothing, you have 100,000 heartbeats a day and only 10/20 are ectopic, that's 0.02% if my maths is correct, compared to mine at 1%. It's fascinating tho isn't it?
I had a really bad ectopic while eating at work the other day I was in my car ran out with no shoes on to my break room and grabbed a fellow employees phone and called 911 I felt like a crazy person this has been putting a number on me thank you so much for posting this I have about 2 panic attacks a day and I feel like I’m going to die I can barely drive anymore I really need to change this
the heart fear/anxiety is my main sympton.Last year i was doing pretty good , working out heavy again, and i when i thought that i was over it , it morphed into a crazy food intolerance, that i could only eat eggs and potatoes for a month, and then im stuck again, it was a major setback for me, but im trying to build it up again and face the fears Nowadays ,if i do theses sprints i feel like i would enter into a crazy panic attack,so kudos for you! i would shit myself for this 😂
Your last speech on the bed. It caught my heart. Believe me, buddy. You inspired for a million people who watch this video. Thank you. Thank you for all your experiment to inspire us thats we can do it too. you are stronger than anxiety and ectopic together Keep going.♥️♥️
Hearing you say that is completely normal made me feel more at ease! I tend to exercise daily and stopped for a week due to random anxiety and panic attacks especially at night and I was blaming them on my vigorous exercises or diet.
I went through a real nightmare with this heart anxiety thing. I have panic disorder and once I had to past one night at the hospital cause a motorbike accident (fortunately I wasn't injured) I was terrified about the cardiac monitor cause even when I'm better from my panic attacks, I'm very hypocondriac. Some time at the middle of the night I had one or two cardiac alarms, which obviously I googled and it results to be a syntom of a particular cardiac problem. I didn't give it much importance until I knew the medication I take can trigger (in very rare cases) that problem in particular. So obviously my anxiety made the relationship and I became convinced that I had that problem and I was going to die. Even I started to have clear cardiac symptons like chest pain and lack of air. Mind is something curious. But the evidence was there, so I had to go to the cardiologist, just to confirm I had that terrible condition. How was my surprise when he said to me "your heart is perfect, you can still taking your medication" But the worst part is even after that I'm afraid of having something bad at my heart, luckly I know that all is in my head.
Currently going through these types of palpitations and panic attacks and every day I think I’m going to die or not wake up 😅 i have a cardiologist appointment in the coming month and I really hope nothings wrong!! I’ve become so terrified of doing anything and I hope I can be as strong as you one day! Thank you for these videos they help so much dude
I really appreciate what you’re doing. I’ve suffered from health anxiety for quite some years now and I want to work out and get fit so badly. Your content is inspiring me
you're a legend bro. mad respect for you being vulnerable and honest about how debilitating cardiophobia and health anxiety in general can be. i know it all too well brother.
This whole video was very valuable. It's great to see someone with the same fears go through this and come out the other side. Glad you didn't cut out the section you talked about skipping over.
I experienced same problems. After lots of clinical checks Doctors says my heart is structurally normal with normal function. A some point I understood that whatever thing would be happened I would going to take care of my health as much as possible. I change diet, I manage my stress, trying to better sleep, be more active, doing exercises. My story of anxiety led me also to other problems like irritable bowel a pelvic pain but changing to good habits definitely help a lot. I'm trying to control what is in my possibility, for the rest, I have to accept the uncertainty of life.
Seriously, this assured me so much i have 2k to 3k VE/day and i feel most of them. All the reports came normal but i am anxious person so i think this is the reason for my ectopics. My electrophysiology cardiologist says that it is a state of mind that causes it he told me to feel free and stay happy and healthy. Hope we all gets better :)
Hey, this isn't just educational for us viewers, but its also a type of exposure therapy for you man and for that i congratulate you on getting out there and really exerting yourself. I also have cardiophobia, but i am also struggling with agoraphobia so its hard to do these things myself, but the video shows me i am not alone in this journey, i thank you with all my heart sir. Lots of love from Australia 🤍
I have had problems for a few years with both Supraventricular beats and Ventricular beats. I have had an EKG monitor on me for almost a week, and also had a work EKG and two cardiologists and a senior doctor have said that it is nothing dangerous. (20-25 Supraventricular extra beats/day) But I have a hard time buying it anyway. It is partly due to the fact that I have been afraid of my heart for almost 16-17 years. Had a myocarditis when I was a teenager, ever since then I've been afraid of getting my heart rate up, like to avoid over 150 otherwise it gets uncomfortable. And in the last 1.5-2 years I have had more knowledge of these SVES and VES. Sometimes it's okay, but other times I freak out and think I'm going to die or something else is going to happen. Sometimes the terror can act like I get a feeling and I don't panic, but I'm CONSTANTLY worried and scared for 3-4 maybe 5 hours afterwards which limits my day to even think about something because I'm afraid of the "next" that will come. I have like 20-25/day but I feel maybe 1-3 on average, like everyone else I have good and bad days. It is appreciated to share with others who have similar problems in life. And I felt hit like hell on the Applewatch, I check the EKG all the time especially when I get a sensation, check the HRV, VO2 max ect ect ect...... And do a bunch of other safety behaviors. Thanks for your channel, and I wish you and I both get better and learn to deal with this. You're on the right track, it seems, and that's great.. Lots of love from Sweden.
To everyone reading this, I've dealt with this for two decades. I have a family history of sudden cardiac death at a young age (30-40) so I'm especially wound up about it. It's taken me that long to get genetic testing, cardiac testing, therapy, etc to realize that mine are 110% diet related. Gastrocardiac syndrome causes my indigestion and gas to cause, exacerbate or mimic palpitations/ectopics. My Holter results showed frequent non complex PVCs and rare pacs but nothing serious according to my cardiologist. I have a very sensitive stomach though and when I eat certain foods or types of foods (looking at you dairy), I know I'll have days of problems with ectopics. If you're at the end of your rope, try changing your diet. I guarantee it will help. Also, exercise not only releases anxious adrenaline, it helps clear excess gas from your system which also helps to decrease gastrocardiac ectopics. ❤
watching your video while i'm currently having them. started getting them last year while i was under a lot of stress for school and work thought they would stop but here i am a year later with them. I've been to the doctor, ekg was good, bloodwork was good and yet i still have them. so scary 😭
Thank you so much, I will have an exercise stress test tomorrow and this is just the video I needed. Exercise has been a panic attack trigger for me for almost 7 months now, I have tons of ectopics during those moments, I feel like I can't breathe and that my life could end at any moment, these panic attacks leave me terrified for almost a whole week not wanting to do any kind of physical activity, not even walking. I'm currently doing all the medical tests needed to make sure that everything is ok (so far everything has come out normal) I feel so much better now knowing that other people can feel this too, the symptoms you describe are pretty much the things I feel. Once again thank you, this video has helped me a lot 🙌
I feel exactly the same you described. I also visit 2 cardiologist. Everything came back normal. I got scared of ectopic beats after running but only way to overcome this fear is exposure and continue doing what we like. We should accept these symptoms. All of them and continue with our life.
@@fransorsel2966 They went very well! I managed to do the stress test without panic and the results came back ok. This is a very important step towards overcoming the anxiety, it is so nice to know that everything is ok, I will keep working to improve my situation.
I have been looking for this exact video for over a year. Thank you! I literally wrote a song about how anxiety inducing this can be, and how I struggle with it, but even knowing it is probably nothing, the anxiety of it is still very much real. For people who haven't experienced this before, I could see the coping mechanisms you used after exercising to distract yourself from your heart rhythm and to not feel it (the arm shaking etc).
Thank you for sharing. I started having ectopics about a year ago, they're awful and give me so much anxiety, your videos have been so insightful and helpful 🙏🙏. Keep up the great work.
6:22 oh man I know this feeling so well.. and also the being jittery and the constant urge to feel the heart/pulse and move the legs/do something. There are days where I can sprint for 30 mins straight and there are days where the slightest movement triggers a PVC/PAC. It just fucking sucks, but you were so brave to do this. Stay strong.
Im only 15 yo and my ectopics started in 2022. I have no idea why. I have no family history of cardiac arrest, arrhythmia or anything heart related as far as I know so I have no idea why I get them. Sometimes I can have days without a single ectopic but that's very rare. i should be grateful since I only get 10-15 a day which is very little but yet I'm so afraid of them I usually cry myself to sleep because of them. Thank you for your videos.
They're not related to cardiac arrest or any kind of arrhythmia so even that wouldn't necessarily explain them, so not to worry! Everyone has them, some just more than others. You probably had them all along without noticing. Once you notice the first one it's hard to not notice them anymore, but not impossible.
Wow! Great work. Brave man! I know exactly how you feel. A decade of cardiac phobia under my belt now! I’ve had every type of heart sensation and even today they can still catch me out and scare me. It’s a battle of wits. My mind against my body sensations. The worst ones are the feeling of your heart stopping and a kind of dropping in your chest where you think “this is it. This is the big one” then a panic attack hits you and you think it’s goodnight Vienna. You called them “triplets” here. Thanks for sharing.
Man. I do not suffer from Ectopic Beats per se, but I do struggle with severe Cardiophobia myself, I live in the U.S. I used to workout 6 Days a Week, Walk 7 Miles under an 80 Pound Load twice a week, ect ect, and then within the last yar or so things have taken a drastic turn. Somewhere along my path Cardiophobia got its hold on me. I have always struggled with pretty bad OCD but never in my life have I had any Anxiety related to my heart until the last year or so. For me, my triggers are an elevated Heart Rate, or being able to feel my Pulse when laying down at night, as well as things like in-depth medical discussions about the body or Cadiovascular System. I literally can't do half of the shit I used to be able to do. If I exert myself and my heart rate elevates, I panic, and damn dude, seeing your behaviors and "ticks" in this Video reminded me a hell of a lot of myself. It doesn't help that my Cardiophobia plays a perfect hand with my OCD, and my Safety Behaviors are rooted in my OCD. The stopping to listen/pay attention to your pulse, the somewhat random/aimless head and arm movements, the facial expressions, everything. It almost feels like I am looking in the Mirror. The tough part for me is, living in the U.S. I cannot just go see a Cardiologist without insurance unless I have thousands of dollars in my account. My best bet would be going to an ER and being ECG'd. I was ECG'd about 2 Years ago when I was hospitalized for an unrelated issue, that was not centered around my heart at all, and the ECG came up perfect, I also had a Scan with Contrast (they were checking my Kidneys, but they checked every Vital Organ while at it) and the Doctor himself came in and spoke to me and told me to my face "Everything, including your Kidneys, is working wonderfully!" However, I am suffering severely nowadays. I feel like I can't do anything like I used to before all of this. I appreciate this Video and I hope to one day be able to defeat this monster built up inside of my head.
I’m Glad you came up and I found this channel, a half naked good looking man on my screen…. Just about gave me a coronary lol! Well done great video. This will be such a help to so many I admire you for sharing your vulnerability with others in order to help them. What an awesome guy you are. I have anxiety, had panic attacks, have anxiety without any cause, the feeling of impending doom. Is debilitating. I’ve had to leave functions of not go at all, I hide away at home most of the time, this has got worse since a spinal Injury and I can not work right now. This chronic pain condition and failed fusions. Was topped off with worsening tachycardia. I have had episodes of tachycardia throughout my life but now that I’m in my 50s things just ramped up. I was having episodes of SVT almost everyday, lasting up to 8 hours, pulse sitting usually between 180-200 bpm. It was impossible to do anything, I Was faint breathless and unable to think or talk. This went on for two years. I am lucky that I have my nursing back ground, and even having these attacks almost everyday and I felt rotten, I knew that I would be ok, so long as they didn’t go on too long. I only went to the hospital once with an attack and that was because the holster monitor was only a 24 hr one and didn’t capture an SVT. Luckily I did as this one was bad, it had gone on for about 10 j hours and I was unable to do any vagal manoeuvre to stop it not even beta blockers helped, I even drove myself as I didn’t want to annoy the ambulance! Stupid woman. as soon as they saw me come to reception I think I must have looked kinda half cooked! I was grey and breathless and my heart was getting tired. They took me straight to resus bay and I thought here we go, but funnily enough I was ok with it. I thought if this is when I go - this is when I go, this is totally out of my control and when it’s my time, the same as it will be everyone else that reads this, time sooner or later. That is a given. We need to accept that it is something we have very little control over it, we can live like health freaks our whole lives and get to 30 and slip on a side walk and get hit by a car. Or we can smoke drink and party till we are 90 and still be having a blast. Life is not a given. Death is not the end. Our soul is energy, just like our cardiac rhythm is control by energy, we can not extinguish soul energy. It lives on.i am Lucky I have this belief. Anyway I had no palpable pulses in wrist or neck and 02 sats and pulse undetectable on finger oximeter - I was fast going into shock. I felt horrible, but I was still not scared. I had three doctors and three nurses in my cubicle, the ECG leads were slapped on and a double check of my QRS length results - at first had a bit of confusion, I think - they expressed they would have to give me a Cardioversion ( I had tried vagal resets all day) but they said they would give it one more go, they had six of them On me three each side I had to blow into a syringe until my head exploded! Then all of them tipped me backwards and upside down lol. Boom! It started to come down! Awesome shit. Glad I didn’t get a free perm with the shock! Anyway I finally got an ablation, as my episodes where debilitating. The study at the start of the procedure, showed AVRT or , Wolff-Parkinson-White syndromes congenital problem I was born with, where the electrical pace maker of you like if firing off the wrong node in your heart. I they put a catheter up through my groin, into my heart and it wasn’t nice it was painful to be honest. No sedation or pain relief. You are unable to move and my back was killing me also, I had tears steaming out the corners of my eyes. They had to go from the fight chamber and pierce through into the right chamber where the AV node is and burn all of the heart tissue around this site. Ewww. I still get topics all the time but no more SVT thank goodness.
As someone with Cardiophobia, anxiety these videos that you make are so so reassuring and helpful! It’s a relief to know that you experience the same horrible symptoms like me but yet you’re still healthy and alive! Thanks so so much for putting your experiences out there! ❣️
This was awesome , been dealing with skipped beats for a while now but I knew it was from coming off anxiety medication. Months free of the medication every symptom left accept the ectopic beats, so I was convinced that the withdrawal brought out an underlying illness but doctors repeatedly told me im fine. It don't help knowing my dad and aunt had defibrillators before 40. But long story short the mind is powerful and I haven't had a skipped beat since watching this video because of how much I related and the ease of mind this gave me. The only other thing I get with the ectopics that are bothersome are the symptoms in my ears. Sometime it's an intense ringing or just a heavy fullness in the ear.
Such great videos. Thank you so much. You’re not alone. This is exactly what we go through when living with panic and anxiety. Some people just don’t understand what we go through. I’m so happy you’re doing well.
I’m really glad you made this video. It really helps to understand what’s going on and it’s nothing to worry about. I think it’s serious when I get them so understanding them will help. Thanks. Really big thanks.
Don't be embarrassed, you handled it well. It's those times that I freak out. But tapering off a benzo has made that feeling so much worse. But you did very well. You did great!
That must be so hard, I've had to taper off an SNRI and that was one of the worst experiences of my life, Dr.s then wanted me to use Benzo's daily and I refused because I've heard how bad benzo withdrawal can be. Antidepressant discontiunation syndrome was bad enough. How things go better and better for you!
@@anxiety_fitnessit's rough at times. I don't have the symptoms a lot of people in the benzo community have. But I've struggled with anxiety and panic for years. I just had a stress test done on my heart and blood work. But my panic and anxiety is so bad. I get dpdr so bad, essential fear. I've made some progress, but I had a set back 2 weeks ago. I have tried all the anti anxiety programs. But I have to say Micheal Norman's panic free and his support has been huge. I'm also looking back at the Bernhardt Method as well. Thank you for making these videos, nobody knows how bad it is unless you've gone through it.
Hey bro, first of all thank you for this realistic experience. I share my experience dealing with anxiety for 5 years, It's normal now but I have developed cardiophobia over time. Whenever I used to run or exercise, My heart beats and it is normal but my thoughts let me dive into the situation where my heart stops beating suddenly or something bad will happen. I hope you can relate. I used to run before my first episode of panic attack since then, I got frightened every time I do so
Awesome job. Don't be embarrassed. I'm not a dr, but a Paramedic. Who, suffering from ectopic out of the blue back in 2019... I let it ruin me, trying to find the cause. Very scary, and knowing what I know from my experience working, seems to amplify the first fear effect. You keep pushing, as this is wat more common than people realize, and moat Dr's brush it off as hey they're benign don't worry etc....but WE can accept that, as it isn't an answer. Seeing you expose yourself, and being in the same boat, was inspiring. Keep up the good work. And FYI. Supra (above) meaning the "misfire" in the sinus node or the atria, rather than Ventricular, under the AV node (the pause button so to speak between the top 2 chambers and bottom 2 chambers), are your pvcs, pjcs etc. Good Luck!
This is MY BEST UA-cam VIDEO❤❤❤❤❤❤ I have had Ectopics for years and I thank UA-cam algorithm for stumbling across it!!!!! Subscribe to your channel 🙏🏾
I used to be just like this. I won't force a religion on you. Fear of health usually stems from a fear of death. Religion is what helps me. But I also have slight death anxiety. I also had health anxiety for a while in 2023. I battled like you. I promise that if you keep pushing through it like you did, you will beat this. You will be in inspiration to so many others. Remember that God is with you too. :)
Im trying to get closer to my religion it definitely helps but when i get these intrusive thoughts of my heart being bad its hard to focus on my faith smh the tachycardia and palpitations are so real and terrifying
Thanks for this! I had the same test over 48 hours, and I had 27 PVC’s. Sometimes, I felt like I was going to die, too! The same thing happened to me after going for a run with the monitor on, and I got a big palpitation from all that anxiety at the same time! I felt convinced I might die, but then the doctor told me that amount of palpitations I was having was 0.001% I believe. Wow…Thar doesn’t sound as scary as what I thought I was feeling.
I hope you don’t mind me suggesting this. I too have cardiophobia. Magnesium baths stopped my fluttery Beats, I still get a fast heart sometimes and even pounding. But the flutters etc and ectopics are gone. Anxiety uses up loads of magnesium and low magnesium can apparently cause those funny beats. Your channel has been helping me a lot recently as I’ve got a bad run of nocturnal waking up and pounding heart and panic. So hope my tip can help a little.
yess i also started using magnesium chloride oil on my skin and take footbaths with magnesium chloride flakes and when my anxiety started it felt like my heart was going to beat out of my chest it felt so hard. after 1 to 2 months i still get racing heart here and there but it feels softer not like it is going to explode out of my chest.
Help me I think am dying everyday I have went to the cardiologist who happen to show me my heart told me it’s contracting very well that am suffering from axienty it’s been 15months now I don’t know what’s else to do , no money again please what’s the name of the magnesium supplement you used
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this video. I am currently wearing a holter monitor right now. It is up to a week, but my dr said I could take it off after a couple days if I wanted to. I've been pretty calm since wearing it, but I'm scared I am going to start panicking and it's going to catch it all, so I will probably take it off before the 1 week mark. Ectopics have become an obsession for me. I research and know so much about them. I think about them ALL the time, can't think of anythin else. The VE's are the PVCs and the supraventricular are the PACS. I have PACS, not many PVCS. I wore a monitor a couple years ago for a week and it showed about 50 ectopics during that time. I feel them all. Have you tried Magnesium? I started taking Magnesium Glycinate 240mg every day pretty regulary. I am so glad you got the all clear!
I had a ECG on for 3 and a half day and I had around 1500 ectopics in total. My first thought was " This is.a lot!" :O The doctor was like " This is very low!" haha! But I, as you, feel them very much at times, and they are very uncomfortable. I am struggling with acceptance of them being normal and not dangerous. I am starting to get there, but still a way to go! Keep it up! you are awesome!
Yes the doctors are always like 'meh' especially if they haven't felt them. My current doctor is really great and takes the time to explain and sympathize which makes a world of difference, and he still told me the chart is unremarkable!
Man I really salute you for this, this is really a scary af thing to go through. For me no matter how many times I get them and the panic attacks I get with them, I freak out like it's the first time and start behaving in an embarrasing way that I regret afterwards. By the way, do you also have stomach problems?
Since 2-3 years i get ectopic heart beats 2-3 for one or two days max , i didnt even know what it this feeling , then it got vanished for months , then i get 1-2 skipped beats one day and got vanished for months . Two 3 months ago i searched about skipped beats and from that day i get them daily . I get them any time while playing sports , walking , sitting , lying doing anyhthing . Done echo tests , Stress tests , 5-7 ECGs/EKGs , blood tests . All are normal . I think if i didnt searched about the Skipped Heart beats , it would have been vanished again for months . 😢😢
Same thing here, even more bizarre - I went to get an ECG when I was in my worst....and ECG showed nothing?? As I was already fine with the condition finally at doctor's office. The damn thing is phytologically driven and pretty hard to get rig of. I think it gets better when yo fix your overall anxiety situation and keep you brain busy with other stuff. The more you do that, the less the ectopics become.
My the worst fear is that ectopic heart beats. I fear that when stresfull situations comes they are also coming. They are so uncomfortable😮. So i start avoinding those stresfull situations to avoid ectopic heartbeats. Thanks to yours videos i know that im not alone. And i would like to ask. How are you?
Dudeee! Finally i found a video that really same with my condition, i get my first panic attack after swimming, rushing into ER, they do some ecg testing, and they said that nothing bad happened in my heart rhythm, but 1 week after that, i went to ER again because of the same problem and it repeat until 4-5 times and they said the ecg result is normal So i try to run some ecg treadmill test, 24 hour holter test, and the result were good, so they ask me to go to psychiatrist and the result is i got panic attack
Had a panic attack in the barber and had a panic during my online class when my teacher was talking to me, i tried to hold and hold but it was too strong i had to cancel class
I get extra beats everyday, sometimes 1 per every 3 seconds and will last for hours, stop for w while and start again. I was told by an electrophysiologist that it's a birth defect and something that comes up later in life. My doctor agreed too. Neither one of my parents have had this, but they've heard of it. This just started out of the blue in 2017. Nothing works for meds or over the counter remedies. I don't even know how your heart can even do this BS. Believe me, it's hurt my life, bad and there's nothing they can do. Familiar words.
I am currently experience the ectopic beats and its really scares me...i have an apple watch to monitor my heart rythm and it shows ectopic 4-6 times in 30 seconds..but not every minutes sometimes it skips few minutes or sometimes event an hour without ectopic...but sometimes it runs 5-6 times in 30 second that scares me to death. I think i need to do the holter monitoring as well..but watching your video give me a bit of relieve
I actually feel bad for you watching this because I feel the same way when I have palpitations... never heard of ectopic beats until now. Maybe Im having ectopic beats! I have an underlying condition but not necessarily linked to these...Btw I'm sorry you go through this but it helps me so much
I have anxiety and panic attacks for no reason at all. If I leave my house I have a panic attack. Maybe the cause of it is Agoraphobia but I'm not totally sure. If I stay inside my house I rarely have a panic attack.
Agoraphobia is a weird one. It starts out as a fear of situations you can't control/feel trapped in, and by not leaving the house, you lessen the feeling of being trapped. Just remember that you are never trapped and can leave whenever you want! I've started going on walks to the end of the street and back as exposure for it, and once a week forcing myself to chat on the phone with somebody. Early days for me, but maybe something similar would help?
@@Barryislarge I've been trying to leave my house and the panic attacks got really bad outside so I haven't left my house in over a month or two again. And if I try to get in the bath I have really bad panic attacks so I haven't had a bath in over 2 months but I can still use baby wipes to clean myself. It's a nightmare

Thanks for sharing, I’ve been going through this for a while on and off and still trying to learn how to manage it, on top of that my blood pressure goes to the roof which worries me even more, I’ve been to emergency a 3 times in the last year but all my test and ECG always show that I’m ok, I exercise a lot and I’m getting holster monitor test soon. Does your blood pressure goes high when you have those episodes?
Dr Sanjay Gupta of York cardiology has an excellent youtube channel that is a great source of information regarding ectopic beats. He is an amazing human being and excellent cardiologist.
Mate this randomly came up on my feed and I can’t believe there’s someone else who has these experiences. Do you monitor your heart rate? I wear a monitor like 24hrs a day (not that I advise this at all!) but it’s like a safety behaviour
Is your anxiety disorder due to your ectopics or do you have anxiety disorder for anything. In my case, I have AD and is for anything, and that AD brings the ectopics, a lot of them. Imagine, I love doing businesses, so I always have anxiety and ectopics 😢
Take electrolytesor if possible change to spring water and stay hydrated. Reduced my skipped beats 99%. At least mentally but I'm not afraid of the so I don't care anyway.
@@preethikengatharan7041 hey, I have them more now after having to take antibiotics for my stomach. Do you also have this? and if you don't mind what other symptoms do you have
Thankyou for doing this, i can relate to all of your videos , they helped me more then paying for therapy, its just having that person to relate to, i dont feel as alone or crazy haha ,making this video must have been so scary i give it up to you my friend your such an inspiration, i have had many tests and have pvcs pacs and lots of sinus tachycardia well over 1 thousand episodes caught which did scare me . I get flutters and even with tests being done i still hate the feeling and wait for them which is just horrible, does anyone get what i call a light flutter like a mini palpitation? Or a pinch feeling, then i have to cough which is really annoying .
Yes I get these too. And I'm like you I'm waiting for them to happen, almost anticipating them which just adds to the anxiety. Plus I sometimes do that little cough when I get a big skipped beat. I don't do it with the smaller pvcs and flutters. But it's like an automatic reaction when I get a big one I do a little cough. I bloody hate pvcs but I'm learning to live with them. I had them for a couple of months straight every single day then I went a month without them and now they've come back. Its reassuring to know that they can go away though.
It's just a horrible feeling waiting for one , sometimes you know one is about to happen then other times your just relaxing in bed and there we go , I do try and drink more water lately still could drink more , I have 1 coffee now and take magnesium which has helped alot, also trying to believe the test results were all normal even if I thought they looked wrong or too high etc x
Have you gotten double beats back to back? Your videos are encouraging I've been having skipped beats for over 25 years been on different beta blockers for years
same here , i have something called roemheld syndrom ( i found out after 2 years of having those problems that im lactose intolerant ) where to much gas is getting build up and trapped and that pushes up on the diaphragm causing all kind of heart symptoms especially at bad time when laying down those skipped beats and pauses are so annoying .. in the past 5-6 years i had a ton of ecgs probably like 40 or so and 2 echos and so on , nothing showed up which is great but cardiophobia is a bi**h and we need to f*****g treat it like one xD
@@skone9070 damn man tbh might have that myself or hiatal hernia. I have had so many heart test but im still scared every time i get palpitations or tachycardia smh sometimes i feel like the palpitations aren’t even my heart but my stomach or something else but i still get an adrenaline rush which makes everything worse. Panic attacks getting better but has been 4 years of hell 🤦♂️
last year i had heart fluttering for the first time ever where my heart went over 220bpm i thought that's it i am going to die. it lasted for like 1 tot 2 minutes i think. Went to the doctor because i was so scared and a week later they did a 24 hour ecg. the superfast heart rate did not show up but the skipped beats i have since 15 years did. Doctor said they are benign and just expose myself to it with exercise but the very fast heart beat scared me so much i am still nog realy sure if my hearts is oke deep down. But if there was realy something wrong it should be happening all of the time not just once in a while i guess. Also when my heart starts racing and also have skipped beats thats is even worse
man i ask you so kindly please never stop posting . i felt so alone until i found this channel
I understand you
Dude!
You are NOT alone!
I promise you.
You’re not alone
Hi there, l have been having pvcs 5 years now, from 200 to 1700 a day, depending on a day. I am 44 years old and this scares a crap out of me. Went to cardiologist, psychiatrist, you name it, everything seem to be fine. But my fear never leaves me and brings more pvcs , like fuel on fire. I am still learning to live with this thing.
It’s like watching myself when you have the panic attacks, I react the same way, even when you say you are stuttering and think you will have a stroke, i get those same thoughts
You are a brave man to push through that fear to help yourself and others! Respect!
😢😢😢😢😢
@@etzioschmetzio2168 Mine started few months after I got my v shot tbh. Not sure if you did the same.

It's hard work but so worth it! I hope some of that stress can lessen for you!
Wym pushing limits staying uncomfortable really keeps things at bay ?
I would
1. Finding do happen and my past 20 years they have found stuff and 5 years later don't find stuff
4. Get weekly sun exposure 2 to 3 times a week atleast 30mins
5. Try and stay away from process foods and bad carbs and sugars.
6. Low carb life style.
7. Moderate weight training!
8. And of course sleep!! 6 to 8hrs
But go back to #1 And ensure u get clear by a cardiologist!!
It was a rough one, I hate when it gets to that point but oh well! Good luck with your results and hopefully all is well!
Keep posting, it has been a life line for me
What are ectopics ?
The exercise will only help, keep it up! You will overcome!
Never stop!!! We are all in this together
Currently going through these types of palpitations and panic attacks and every day I think I’m going to die or not wake up 😅 i have a cardiologist appointment in the coming month and I really hope nothings wrong!! I’ve become so terrified of doing anything and I hope I can be as strong as you one day! Thank you for these videos they help so much dude

you're a legend bro. mad respect for you being vulnerable and honest about how debilitating cardiophobia and health anxiety in general can be. i know it all too well brother.
This whole video was very valuable. It's great to see someone with the same fears go through this and come out the other side. Glad you didn't cut out the section you talked about skipping over.
Hi 🤗
I experienced same problems. After lots of clinical checks Doctors says my heart is structurally normal with normal function. A some point I understood that whatever thing would be happened I would going to take care of my health as much as possible. I change diet, I manage my stress, trying to better sleep, be more active, doing exercises. My story of anxiety led me also to other problems like irritable bowel a pelvic pain but changing to good habits definitely help a lot. I'm trying to control what is in my possibility, for the rest, I have to accept the uncertainty of life.
Thank you for your videos! I have suffered from anxiety and ectopics.
(20-25 Supraventricular extra beats/day)
But I have a hard time buying it anyway.
Good for you keep the videos coming from someone who suffers the same
watching your video while i'm currently having them. started getting them last year while i was under a lot of stress for school and work thought they would stop but here i am a year later with them.
How did your test go!
I can't tell you how much I appreciate you putting yourself through this just to help us. You are truly an amazing person. Thank you so much
That is so kind, thank you!
You are so brave. I know how scary it is and I am very proud of you for doing this.
Thank you!!!
I was ECG'd about 2 Years ago when I was hospitalized for an unrelated issue, that was not centered around my heart at all, and the ECG came up perfect, I also had a Scan with Contrast (they were checking my Kidneys, but they checked every Vital Organ while at it) and the Doctor himself came in and spoke to me and told me to my face "Everything, including your Kidneys, is working wonderfully!"
However, I am suffering severely nowadays. I feel like I can't do anything like I used to before all of this. I appreciate this Video and I hope to one day be able to defeat this monster built up inside of my head.
You're really brave to put you through this! I understand the pain, I've ectopics as well
Thank you 🥺
You are sooo courageous and sooo amazing.....
Thank you! It is hard work, but worth it in the end!
I’m Glad you came up and I found this channel, a half naked good looking man on my screen…. Just about gave me a coronary lol! Well done great video. This will be such a help to so many I admire you for sharing your vulnerability with others in order to help them. What an awesome guy you are. I’ve had to leave functions of not go at all, I hide away at home most of the time, this has got worse since a spinal
Injury and I can not work right now. This chronic pain condition and failed fusions. Was topped off with worsening tachycardia. I have had episodes of tachycardia throughout my life but now that I’m
in my 50s things just ramped up. I was having episodes of SVT almost everyday, lasting up to 8 hours, pulse sitting usually between 180-200 bpm. It was impossible to do anything, I
Was faint breathless and unable to think or talk. It lives on.i am
Lucky I have this belief. Anyway I had no palpable pulses in wrist or neck and 02 sats and pulse undetectable on finger oximeter - I was fast going into shock. I felt horrible, but I was still not scared. I had three doctors and three nurses in my cubicle, the ECG leads were slapped on and a double check of my QRS length results - at first had a bit of confusion, I think - they expressed they would have to give me a Cardioversion ( I had tried vagal resets all day) but they said they would give it one more go, they had six of them
On me three each side I had to blow into a syringe until my head exploded! Then all of them tipped me backwards and upside down lol. Boom! It started to come down! Awesome shit. Glad I didn’t get a free perm with the shock! Anyway I finally got an ablation, as my episodes where debilitating. The study at the start of the procedure, showed AVRT or , Wolff-Parkinson-White syndromes congenital problem
I was born with, where the electrical pace maker of you like if firing off the wrong node in your heart. Ewww. I still get topics all the time but no more SVT thank goodness.
thank you thank you for these videos. I feel less alone.
No ur not we all together in this
As someone with Cardiophobia, anxiety these videos that you make are so so reassuring and helpful! It’s a relief to know that you experience the same horrible symptoms like me but yet you’re still healthy and alive! Thanks so so much for putting your experiences out there! ❣️
This video has me crying I love you 😩😩
🥺
It's good to know I am not alone in this 😢, thank you so much 🙏 please don't stop posting. Take care brother.
I thought i am the only one who suffered to anxiety and ectopic beats but when i saw your videos .I feel better now . not 100% but big improvement
I really needed this video thank you so much😢😢
My heart often feels like it skips beats, i have also anxiety about it.
Me too, how are you doing now? Hope you have gotten better
This video has helped me more than you'll ever know. All of this is so familiar to me living with sinus tachycardia and anxiety. Stay Well.❤
Just found this today and it's so useful! Thanks for sharing
Awwww Ive done that yelling for help 😢 you’re brave! Im doing exposure therapy as well! We got this.
Super interesting thanks heaps for what you do. helps alot with my ectopic anxiety I also cough or ill stand up and move around to try and stop them.
You're such a brave and wonderful person. Thank you so much for your work. It's very helpful!
Hope your anxiety is getting better soon...all the best!
I’m really glad you made this video. It really helps to understand what’s going on and it’s nothing to worry about. I think it’s serious when I get them so understanding them will help. Thanks. Really big thanks.
Super great interesting vid! Just watched the whole vid and I'm proud of you for pushing and testing yourself! 10/10 🎉
Thank you for watching and the kind words :D
You are so brilliant and brave for doing this thank you so much!
Thank you for watching!
Thank you!
Im trying to get closer to my religion it definitely helps but when i get these intrusive thoughts of my heart being bad its hard to focus on my faith smh the tachycardia and palpitations are so real and terrifying
@@swagkidm10 I understand. It's all about trying to get comfortable in the uncomfortable.
Well done mate 👏 inspirational 😊
Thank you!
This is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing!
You are so welcome!
Can u pls help me I have this
this is amazing to see
Thank you so much for watching!
I had a ECG on for 3 and a half day and I had around 1500 ectopics in total. My first thought was " This is.a lot!" :O
The doctor was like " This is very low!" haha!
Thank you for this I’m currently up at 1 am trying to grasp what’s going on with me
Same thing here, even more bizarre - I went to get an ECG when I was in my worst....and ECG showed nothing?? As I was already fine with the condition finally at doctor's office. The damn thing is phytologically driven and pretty hard to get rig of. I think it gets better when yo fix your overall anxiety situation and keep you brain busy with other stuff. The more you do that, the less the ectopics become.
Just subscribed to you! I love these types of videos where it's focused on experimenting with things
Dudeee! Finally i found a video that really same with my condition, i get my first panic attack after swimming, rushing into ER, they do some ecg testing, and they said that nothing bad happened in my heart rhythm, but 1 week after that, i went to ER again because of the same problem and it repeat until 4-5 times and they said the ecg result is normal
So i try to run some ecg treadmill test, 24 hour holter test, and the result were good, so they ask me to go to psychiatrist and the result is i got panic attack
You’re so brave because I can’t do that 😓I wish I could
I actually feel bad for you watching this because I feel the same way when I have palpitations... never heard of ectopic beats until now. Maybe Im having ectopic beats! I have an underlying condition but not necessarily linked to these...Btw I'm sorry you go through this but it helps me so much
You asked how many...I have had back to back for ten minutes straight but only during certain times of the month. Def had the triplets. Hate those! 😩
Thank you 😊
I have anxiety and panic attacks for no reason at all.
@@Barryislargehow are u getting on now. I have hd agoraphobia for years, it got better that I was able to do stuff but a bad panic attack triggered me housebound again a month ago :/

@@cmchez1 I'm getting fed up of it now I haven't had a bath in over 6 months and i am battling the panic attacks all of the time. I don't think it's ever going to End.
Hey i had dpdr for 2 months so on a Wednesday night i had a panic attack so i stayed calm and just relax and the next day i felt like hell i thought i was going crazy i was scared i felt depressed no hope and just sad
my personal trick is to become aggressive mentally it switches off the fear a little bit
This is the answer. Aggression and anxiety are two different sides of the same energy coin.
Yes he’s great I mentioned him in my other ectopic videos. I had 2 consultations with him actually.
He literally referred people to Dr. Gupta in this video...
Mate this randomly came up on my feed and I can’t believe there’s someone else who has these experiences. Do you monitor your heart rate? I wear a monitor like 24hrs a day (not that I advise this at all!) but it’s like a safety behaviour
24:47 my percentage in 24 hours were 2% of my total heart beats were PVCs
Is your anxiety disorder due to your ectopics or do you have anxiety disorder for anything. In my case, I have AD and is for anything, and that AD brings the ectopics, a lot of them. Imagine, I love doing businesses, so I always have anxiety and ectopics 😢
Take electrolytesor if possible change to spring water and stay hydrated. Reduced my skipped beats 99%. At least mentally but I'm not afraid of the so I don't care anyway.
Are you feeling any better now? How many do you think you get in a day these days? Did you notice them getting worse after a course of antibiotics?
The same now, just don't notice them as much as I am moving on. No change after antibiotics!
@@anxiety_fitness so glad to know you are coping so well.
@@preethikengatharan7041
hey, I have them more now after having to take antibiotics for my stomach.
Your videos are encouraging I've been having skipped beats for over 25 years been on different beta blockers for years
Yes, that is what the couplets are if I understand you correctly.
Cardio phobia is a mf smh 😞 plus Gerd sometimes i cant tell if its my heart causing my palpitations or my stomach problems. Tachycardia sucks
same here , i have something called roemheld syndrom ( i found out after 2 years of having those problems that im lactose intolerant ) where to much gas is getting build up and trapped and that pushes up on the diaphragm causing all kind of heart symptoms especially at bad time when laying down those skipped beats and pauses are so annoying .. in the past 5-6 years i had a ton of ecgs probably like 40 or so and 2 echos and so on , nothing showed up which is great but cardiophobia is a bi**h and we need to f*****g treat it like one xD
@@skone9070 damn man tbh might have that myself or hiatal hernia. You have the same symptoms and reactions like me, its crazy. And i even got the Stitch lying in my bed 😂
last year i had heart fluttering for the first time ever where my heart went over 220bpm i thought that's it i am going to die. it lasted for like 1 tot 2 minutes i think.
