Alex... badass shop! I'm a fair bit younger than you but im workin my way to that. Cant wait to own a house to really build one out. Thanks for the video too.
You are genius, when things are not available you find a way with your genius brain. I am looking foe the thread tension control shaft as my screw got broke off . Thanks
I really enjoy your videos. I just purchased one of the Willcox and Gibbs. I bought an extra stitch regulator in hopes of hearing from you on how to modify the extra one to make longer stitches. If there is a possibility, PLEASW let me know.
Hi Alex, I have acquired a Adler 86 treadle and it all seem to move well but it appears the tension spring is broken and just flops down. I have tried to research the 86 but there is nothing. Some info on the 87 which appears to have the same tension system. I!m fascinated with your spring making demonstration and hoped you'd have an idea of how to recreate a tension spring.! Any thoughts have would be greatly appreciated. Love your channel by the way💁🏼📍✂️
I have a willcox and gibbs, it was non moving at all now everything is moving except for the needle bar wont go up nd down it is locked up tight. Removed the needle bar bolt and that ring around it and now everything moves, any tips on how to loosen that needle bar? Oil, heat nothing works even wacked it on top with a hammer no luck. So sad.
Hi, I just inherited a Wheeler & Wilson #8 in treadle form. Can you give me any idea of the value of this sewing machine. It is in good condition but needs a belt??
