I think that turned out really awesome. In addition, excellent job cutting all of the holes/ovals.
Never question a man with goals
Man, I discovered the same things that you did about the wood. I think I followed the same path and ended up scrapping those particular walls in my build. After seeing this, I will revisit those panels. Thanks and keep up the great work! I'm going out to get a drill press right now!!
11:01 mdf will eliminate the need to fill holes with putty and do alllllllll that sanding and also won't warp like plywood will. That said, you did a great job and I am inspired!!! Way to go!

Looks good man! I always enjoy making various projects on my own by hand. Its a calming satisfying experience. Don't forget to remind your wife that you're capable, but not too capable or else she'll have you doing a million of her own projects. Ha, thanks for sharing the build!
HAHA! That is good advice. My grandfather used to say leave one thing broken always in the house. That way your wife always needs you for something lol
I recently bought a CNC machine, so I've had plans to do this as the top of a bookshelf for Star War art print wall and the Life Size The Child to sit on.
