I love videos like this. Not just because I’m also a huge Star Wars fan who’s almost 50. But just seeing toys I used to own and play with as a kid is just so nostalgic and pleasing. Man I wish I still had them!
I’m a 44 year old sicko living in China. This past couple years - as I’m sure many of us have - been enjoying some hard core collecting to stay sane and recapture some childhood times in physical forms. Most of my stuff stays packed a way in a basement in Ottawa, Ontario; my folks being good basement stewards. This collections is astounding but like many folks have said, appreciate a soft spoken, friendly content creator who seems so genuine. Awesome stuff, brother. That Death Star set! Made my day watching this video.
The original 70’s and 80’s toys are my favorite. I played for hours with my toys. My Dad would leave me a pack of the Topps cards from our local dairy. I appreciate that your collection stresses the original movies. Amazing collection.
You and I are the same age. I remember seeing Star War in 77 in the theatre with my Dad and being blown away. These toys were my very favorite as a kid. I took them everywhere with me.
Your collection is wonderful. I’m from England and recently met the chief designer from Palitoy a man named Bob Brechin who designed the cardboard DeathStar and also met Bill Hargreaves the man who designed and built IG-88 and several other droids, He’s been offered millions for IG-88 but no longer has it as he was made from junkyard scrap
R2-D2 was also my first Star Wars figure. I was 5 years old at the time and it was the very first toy I was allowed to pick out for myself at the store. Awesome collection!
Love your video and you are awesome!!! I am 62 and took a bus for an hour each way to the comic book store to get the Star Wars comic books and I have the first 8 issues. Then when I got older I had to have all the toys of my youth because of the way they make you feel. These Star Wars toys bring back the magic of your youth and I am like you. I have some in boxes but what is the fun of that?? My ATT is on my dining room table with alot of other Star Wars vintage toys. Your video made me tear up!!!! Its a shame about Gina Carano too!! Just paid top dollar for Cara Dune!!!!
I am 49 and have the same "sickness". I remember also when I first played with my Ben Kenobi and Luke for Christmas 77, finding the different light sabers color great. I was in France and would not see the movie until 1980 when it was re-released ahead of the Empire strikes back. We were late and got in the theater when Vader was talking to stormtrooper officer about not to worry about the senate for arresting Leia. I am still mad about my mother getting us late to the movie..
Excellent collection! What I found great, was when he said, that he is collecting it without boxes, because he wants to touch and feel the toys. This is the way, man.
I was 6 when the first Star Wars came out and it was a cultural phenomenon and a worldwide sensation. I believe Kenner did a great job back in the day. I didn't have many of the figures but a lot of my friends did and I moved a lot as a child so I only got a few pieces survived I have the same sickness as you and then collecting the past few years loose Kenner action figures. I love your collection in your passion wait to see more of your videos not found out about your Channel Through the Padawan collector.

Stunning collection you deserve all that vintage star wars goodness your a true fan . I'm a fan myself I'm 46 and I do have vintage and like you it's all I collect. The vintage just holds all the memories for me , love it 👍🏻
In 1977 my Dad came home from work and called me (age 6 and my brother age 2) over to him. He opened his tan leather briefcase and produced two toys. One was a white soldier-looking guy and the other was a squat robot. He said "these are from the new big movie out that I am going to take you to." My brother (bering so little) had zero interest in the robot so I grabbed it to play with the white soldier. When we finally went to see this movie my life changed. I had only seen one other movie and it was the Fox and the Hound. This was a whole new reality that I have never lost the love for.
I'm glad these are in the hands of an ambassador that cares more than the monetary value of the pieces. I don't know why but at the end all that popped into my head was Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy lol. Looking forward to watching your channel and collection grow.
Excellent podcast.nice collection.vintage is king. The newer 1990 + are excellent and the 2000 toys are excellent. Battery and comm toys . Now current era are excellent. Vintage is still king. Disney plus is continuing the Star wars story. May the force be with you.

Man that is one awesome collection. I have a few vintage figures and vehicles. My favorite piece is my Kenner Death Star. I removed the cardboard inserts and displayed it front on. I prefer the Palitoy Version because its more open and spherical. Better for displaying figures in my opinion. I have the Sears Imperial Cruiser, Ewok Catapult, Ewok Glider, Cloud Car, AT ST, and Sears Creature Cantina. I just need a Leia and a Jawa for the original 12. I'm on the lookout for a Jabba's dungeon (1984 preferably) and a Tie Interceptor. Once I get those I'm done with vintage collecting for the most part. I will buy the odd figure here and there if I can get a good deal on it.
