ok ok . . . wait just one minute . . . that two piece shower trap trick just blew my brain right out of my skull!!!!! Headed to the hardware store right now!! Great stuff man, love the door!
I’m thinking the new bathroom is going to be the most popular room in your home. For a while at least. If the rest of the room build is this awesome, then it’s going to be a thing to behold. Great, GREAT job on this. So many ideas to integrate into projects I want to build*. *just need money, time, supplies, tools, and...oh yeah...a house to build in. Looking forward to future episodes.
That was definitely awesome. Working on plans for my spacecraft design. Like the drafting sheets you use with the lighting. Gives a nice glow. And the small hallway to the door is nice too. Need to find plans for an easy to make door opener. Kudos...
Mate I'm building a massive Home Theatre on UA-cam at the moment. And you've just given me a really cool idea for its main entrance. Thanks heaps bud it looks fantastic 👍
Since the top of the structure was open I was able to fish the wire between the two and out to a junction box.. I left it out because I don’t want to give electrical advice due to different codes in different areas..
Thanks so much Tony, I previously worked for the faucet company Moen as an engineer and those are a few of our hands free motion controlled modules that were no longer viable..
Very nice looking door there bud! Color matching is nice also! Cant wait to see what else you do. I started drawing up some things to finish my door up but am having a hard time with hiding my crimes or even which way to go with the rest of the archway look. For me its Not as easy as you make it seem! :)
Great Job!! I love the symmetry of the greeblies on the left. Doubled up like a Yin-Yang. Cool. And the lights very cool. How does the draft paper hold up though? Did you hot glue that down?
Thanks so much! The draft Mylar is more similar to plastic it can’t be ripped or torn without some real effort.. it is stapled in the vertical areas and free floating in the upper area incase I need access for any reason..
@@TheRebelsRefuge Oh ok I'll have to remember to try that Mylar next time. I used the plastic from a poster frame on my Death Star lights. Then sprayed them with a frost paint to make them opaque. Keep building!
Awesome build. Do you remember where you got the ceiling grids? Trying to locate something like that myself. Seems like it would work great for an unfinished SW inspired basement.

Haha! Thanks so much.. really appreciate the support!
Does this mean we won’t be seeing any more toilet flanges in the Smuggler’s Room?
I must say, I was pretty excited to see those as well.
You just blew Brian's mind!!!! That should be some sort of award.
I was just about to suggest you show this to Brian at the Smugglers Room, the light fixtures look amazing, never thought of that idea.
Man this is so good! Everyone has said it but that shower flange light is unbelievably cool! Thanks for all the great tips!
Really happy you enjoyed it and I could shine some light on the underused shower flange! Lol

Thanks so much! Absolutely have at it!
@@TheRebelsRefuge I love how simple you kept the build it really looks great 👍🏻
@@blackmarketoutpost I really tried to simplify it as much as possible, I’m glad it came across...
@@TheRebelsRefuge excellent I alway over think it lol

You can’t see me but I’m blushing!
Great design! This tuned out really well. Looks awesome!

Thanks so much Tony, I previously worked for the faucet company Moen as an engineer and those are a few of our hands free motion controlled modules that were no longer viable..
Awesome build! I’m stealing a lot of your simple ideas! Thanks! How do you open door with out handle?? 😮
We added a handle later on

oh my.. I love this even more now.. Did you work on galaxy's edge?
Haha, no but that would have been amazing! I’m just a prop builder trying to make his basement in universe.. lol
@@TheRebelsRefuge that is awesome!

Home Depot! In the suspension ceiling section…
@@TheRebelsRefuge thank you! There’s so many styles and searching online at the bad photos is mildly frustrating so that helps greatly. 👍
Wow thank you 😊
Love how it's coming along- lights are great! So is "the throne" going to be like Vader's or the Emperor's? 😅
Thanks, hopefully not as spikey as the one in TROS.. lol
What did you use to cut the holes into for lights was it cardboard?
That was masonite
Hows the Mylar holding up?
Holding up great.. it’s tough as nails and really hard to rip
@@TheRebelsRefuge good good I was worried for you
@@WhiteysWickedWorkshop appreciate it but it’s really robust material like I said you would have to really try to ruin it
Dude, have you seen your captions? They are garbled random text and numbers
I like to watch your videos but that repetitive terrible music makes it impossible
sorry
