- This is one of my new favorite bands. They have great music, with really good harmonies. Their music seems like it came out of Woodstock. I really dig this band's vibe. Please comment, or subscribe. More on the way....

This might just be blatantly obvious to fans of theirs, but is it just me or is this not one of the most 1960s/70s-in-a-modern-setting performances that you've ever seen? Also, these guys are incredible live.
I saw them live years ago in a tiny town in northern California. Best show!

Son, he's what a great drummer is all about: feel, imagination, the ability to deliver the right thing at the right moment with precision, sing ... at the same time respecting his place in the music. Rare!
The more I watch this the more I realise how beautiful mistys vocals are on the drums..... That first high note he sings on the fade out 3:30...... Oh my god the clarity..... Man sounds like a bird.... Stunning

That's Josh Tillman. He's awesome man. If you aren't familiar with him, Google "Father John Misty." He left Fleet Foxes to start his own group. The guy is so original.

i remember watching this on a sunday in my house in wales, lying on the bed with the sunlight coming in throgh the blinds, wife and kids out and vod in hand.......and this sound came in to my life. thankyou to the foxes.
The clip at 3:43 or so with the couple embracing was so cute and special. Really felt the mood in that moment. The flags saying PEACE give me hope for people, such a simple little thing.
I cannot stop watching this. These talented young men are amazing. I have listened to their songs over and over. Also the music of First Aid Kit. I may be 63 but I know great music when I run across it.

I’m sitting outside my beach hut in Thailand listening to this, watching the sunset, beer in hand. Life is good sometimes.
It's so soul soothing. The words seem to speak of a yearning, I understand it is not quite a happy song. But there is an acceptance, a strength, a love in it that is so healing.

Oh god how I love fleet foxes. I love them so much because all of their music boosts my creativity so much. Every song they make manages to paint a beautiful picture or scene in my head, and thats something not every band can do

good stuff. listen at 3:38 the drummer is J.Tillman who is a solo folk artist. he was with the band for a few years but he's back on his own now. look him up!! great singer.

My man broke out a melodica!!! The only melodica musician I can think of that was highly successful was Augustus Pablo. He mastered that instrument. This performance here is magnificent! Thanks for the post!

It’s a pretty good start when 2 of the 5 best Singers of the generation-are in the same Band.
A lot of people probably know about this already, but his name is Josh Tillman and he (somewhat) recently left Fleet Foxes and started a band called Father John Misty, which he heads. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy his vocals.
