Underrated? Look at the size of their audience in Hyde Park and Glastonbury. Everyone in the 90s knew them

@@bezsonnja they are relatively known in my country by people that were teens and adults in the 90s. They played a lot on MTV. Maybe they are not known for younger people, or maybe they knew Gorilaz then went and listen to Blur, but Blur is hardly a not known band. Maybe in our bubbles it feels like Blur, Radiohead, those kind of bands are "underrated", but this is a biased opinion because they sold millions and millions of records, their concerts are always super crowded not matter where they go to. If you search for Blur concerts here on UA-cam you find many many different countries and all of them are crowded and the tickets are always expensive. So, we should be careful with our bias when we say something is underrated or not famous
@@AmandaFreitas1998 I'm form Eastern Europe and 99% of people who heard of Blur know only Song 2. But you'll be having a hard time trying to find people who heard this name in the first place. I'm not that good in English to fully explain my point tbh. But here where I live Blur is faaaaaar from being popular even among those who lived they young lives in 90s.
Unlike Radiohead and Gorillaz that you've mentioned - these bands are well-known here.

The way you can hear the crowd sing every word, and the “oh my baby” throughout is truly chilling. What a beautiful performance and crowd.
This was the greatest crowd I have ever been in. I still remember this so vividly 11 years later.
One of the greatest riffs ever written period.
13 is Blur's best album.

Pure magical! I lost my sister, niece, and mom during the same period with Blur reunion in 2009. So their comeback and music really 'saved' me during my darkest years. ❤❤ I broke down in tears almost the whole show when they came to Jakarta in 2013.
Please stay healthy and keep making music and performing, guys! I missed your Wembley shows this year (will be my biggest regret i can feel it), so I really need to see you performing live in your hometown at least once in my lifetime! 🙌

I grew up with Blur. They fundamentally shaped my late teens, my friend even lived in their very big house in the country later in life. I Love blur so talented.

How lucky were we to have the war between the two greatest British bands of their generation in Oasis and Blur! Both pushed each other to greatness. Nowadays the mutual respect is clear.
I saw Blur a couple times in Buenos Aires 🇦🇷 looking forward for their come back. Love them ❤️

Seen them in Hyde Park - best concert ever.... Then a few years later I flew to Peru to see them play live in Lima... We used to have that Blur V Oasis thing going on in the 90s but in the end there could only be one clear winner and that's Blur by a country mile as their music still sounds fresh as a daisy...

Still the best show I've ever seen live (and I've been fortune enough to see a lot) but why would you cut the crowd singing off? It went on for easily 5-10 minutes and was so magical.
A great example of "you had to be there's but the energy that night was untouchable and I'll remember it till the day I die.
I used to watch this vid a few years a go and it used to have the crowd singing at the end. I don't get why they've cut it out! It's the most beautiful scene. I'm gutted 😞 What an outstanding performance though 🙂 top class

@@StuartQuinnIt is in the lap of the Gods. Here, the Australian airline Qantas has parked.its international fleet in the Mojave desert and said it doesn't expect to resume flights to Europe until 2022/23. That June festival is on my bucket list. Have done a few Euro festivals. Great fun.
This is what bought me back here... how I long for days like that again. I was in that crowd back in 2009, was also the weekend we learnt of Micheal Jackson passing.

Anyways, whatever their age they always put on an amazing show.
My 14 year old son asked for tickets to see them in dublin for his 15th birthday his first gig..proud dad moment cos he wanted some real music than the shite kids his age listen too!! Roll on june ill start him on the music journey 💪
