@@bezsonnja they are relatively known in my country by people that were teens and adults in the 90s. They played a lot on MTV. Maybe they are not known for younger people, or maybe they knew Gorilaz then went and listen to Blur, but Blur is hardly a not known band. Maybe in our bubbles it feels like Blur, Radiohead, those kind of bands are "underrated", but this is a biased opinion because they sold millions and millions of records, their concerts are always super crowded not matter where they go to. If you search for Blur concerts here on UA-cam you find many many different countries and all of them are crowded and the tickets are always expensive. So, we should be careful with our bias when we say something is underrated or not famous
@@AmandaFreitas1998 I'm form Eastern Europe and 99% of people who heard of Blur know only Song 2. But you'll be having a hard time trying to find people who heard this name in the first place. I'm not that good in English to fully explain my point tbh. But here where I live Blur is faaaaaar from being popular even among those who lived they young lives in 90s. Unlike Radiohead and Gorillaz that you've mentioned - these bands are well-known here.
Pure magical! I lost my sister, niece, and mom during the same period with Blur reunion in 2009. So their comeback and music really 'saved' me during my darkest years. ❤❤ I broke down in tears almost the whole show when they came to Jakarta in 2013. Please stay healthy and keep making music and performing, guys! I missed your Wembley shows this year (will be my biggest regret i can feel it), so I really need to see you performing live in your hometown at least once in my lifetime! 🙌
How lucky were we to have the war between the two greatest British bands of their generation in Oasis and Blur! Both pushed each other to greatness. Nowadays the mutual respect is clear.
Seen them in Hyde Park - best concert ever.... Then a few years later I flew to Peru to see them play live in Lima... We used to have that Blur V Oasis thing going on in the 90s but in the end there could only be one clear winner and that's Blur by a country mile as their music still sounds fresh as a daisy...
@@StuartQuinnIt is in the lap of the Gods. Here, the Australian airline Qantas has parked.its international fleet in the Mojave desert and said it doesn't expect to resume flights to Europe until 2022/23. That June festival is on my bucket list. Have done a few Euro festivals. Great fun.
This is what bought me back here... how I long for days like that again. I was in that crowd back in 2009, was also the weekend we learnt of Micheal Jackson passing.
I grew up with Blur. They fundamentally shaped my late teens, my friend even lived in their very big house in the country later in life. I Love blur so talented.
great band from Brazil: Super*Sonic: #FeelYourHands / #DirtyMind LIVE at K Bar ua-cam.com/video/ZfJbf_iiTeQ/v-deo.html #Kbar #supersonic #supersonicband #radiohead
Still the best show I've ever seen live (and I've been fortune enough to see a lot) but why would you cut the crowd singing off? It went on for easily 5-10 minutes and was so magical. A great example of "you had to be there's but the energy that night was untouchable and I'll remember it till the day I die.

me encanta Blur. Especialmente Wonderwall, The Drugs don´t work y Killing in the name. Cuando no escucho a los maestros del regetón y la cumbia los escucho. Grande Liam Ashcroft y Damon Brown !!!

I was there, the crowd were singing "oh my baby" for a long time after the song ended. A magical night.
Me 2
And Me... Fabulous... also did the Hyde Park gig 👍
Fckn bet it wiz
I’m not taking the piss how lucky were you
Best night of my life.
Blur are criminally underated in my opinion.
My favourite band ever.
Same
Underrated? Look at the size of their audience in Hyde Park and Glastonbury. Everyone in the 90s knew them
@@AmandaFreitas1998 they are really underrated outside of Britain

The way you can hear the crowd sing every word, and the “oh my baby” throughout is truly chilling. What a beautiful performance and crowd.
Damon Albarn is one of the greatest frontmen ever. He’s so underrated. Such a great singer and song writer.
One of the greatest riffs ever written period.
graham is just the greatest
Innit he what ;-)
13 is Blur's best album.
There's no denying that at all. Its a masterpiece
Parklife>>>>

Imo Blur or magic whip are better

진짜 미친 노래;.. 명곡임 ㅇㅇ 진짜 최소한 1억회는 찍어야하는데 노래 길이 감안해도 너무 안 나옴;;
I love how the crowd still sings when Grahams not singing 😭
Thanks BBC for uploading these masterpieces during this quarantine, it's the best thing you guys have ever done!

Así es lo mejor de los 90' Blur y Damon Albarn!!!

This is absolutely magical. Missing live gigs like crazy

How lucky were we to have the war between the two greatest British bands of their generation in Oasis and Blur! Both pushed each other to greatness. Nowadays the mutual respect is clear.
This is what I wanted from Coachella crowd but they were dead 😂
lmao i was in the coachella crowd. Wrong festival wrong country.

By a Country House, maybe?
Everyone compared oasis to stone roses not to blur
Oasis fans would disagree. There is no “winner” in this argument, just personal preferences.
Radiohead outshone them all to be fair

Blur ....awesome.. they are amazing.🇬🇧❣️🇬🇧
I was there, in fact I think I still am.
Still beautiful, after all those years!
It is a live version, so they speeded the song up.
I loved how the camera vibrated the first time he sang "Lord" and his neck got tense
The crowd is amazing!
I’ll take that 👍 should have heard us after the end of this video clip... we carried on 👍

The best crowd!! Utmost when they were singing a long. Exceptional.

THE "BLUR" ALBUM, THEN "13", "MODERN LIFE, PARKLIFE, THINK TANK, GREAT ESCAPE", "MAGIC WHIP" AND "LEISURE" NOT FOR ME SORRY.
You know its a good song when the crowd sings along even when Damon or Graham hasn't sang yet or when the crowd still sings after the the song ends

Blur are much better than KOL, it's not even close.
different styles. no sense in comparing oranges with apples, but KOL is more rock.

The spirit of John Lennon is into that great song 🎸🍏👍
Totally. Damon has that same charisma and soul.
