I think it would have been cool to tint the windows with the different levels you off to show customers how dark it makes the windows
That’s smart, darkest on bottom for actual use and get lighter as it goes up
These time lapses is what I live for. More of those please! Even if it takes up a ton of time in the video, I will watch it all!
Truck doesn't look completely level, but it's a lot better than where it started.
I think it looks pretty level not bad for 3800lb payload
Tile looks great, shop is looking awesome. The one guy working Trevor is killing it, great to have guys like him around because excuses is not in there vocabulary.
Looking Good Fella's! Shout Out to The Entire Crew!
The shop is coming along the floor choice is spot on. Your prob going to have some pop up tho laying them directly over the old tile and not back buttering the tiles
tile looks good. not sure about installing em over the old tiles though. were they asbestos tiles?
Probably just typical VCT (vinyl composite tile) given the likely age of the building. Hopefully they tried to remove all the loose pieces before installing.
The grey Versabond is rated to go over existing vinyl tile, as long as it isn't cushion backed and all loose pieces have been removed, normally a fracture guard is applied before the thinset, but as long as there isn't to much heavy equipment or cars on it, the floor should hold up fine, might see a cracked grout line or two in a few heavy traffic areas after a while.
Gotta pop up that old stuff. Doing it right always feels better
That tile is giving off high end show room vibes! Awesome progress overall!
Ceramic tile is low end. Porcelain is high end.
That is correct. And nothing from The Home Depot is “high end”
Shop is looking GREAT! Save those old signs they will be worth money someday.
Loving these shop transformation videos! It’s so cool to see a similar level of quality you put into your customer’s vehicles being put into your shop! I hope you got a great lease and/or huge TI (tenant improvement) budget from the owner, as you’re doing so much that many owners/buyers don’t do for their own shops!
I think he bought it ? Not sure though
Floors look great! Building is coming along amazingly! Good work Storm and company.
Leaving one lift might be useful for lifting up a vehicle and spraying off mud and stuff off the frame and undercarriage.
I wish I had a lift washing my truck, gets old having to bend over washing underneath and wheels
I like the flooring choice. It does look good. I love watching your growth man. Been watching the channel for quite some time and you have grown so much. I also love that you’re building your dream detailing shop. I love detailing vehicles so I understand the passion.
Love it when it's on a tripod and doesn't make me sea sick.
A long way from fixing old trucks up. I have to say it is one great big step towards your goal. I kinda hope that you kept that first shop you built for hobbies or something to get some good from it. I think that you probably sold it to do this although this is huge. Salary alone is scary. You should get a award for covering those hideous big red and blue squares that was there. Its a nice floor going in to replace it. Someone does a burnout on it will die a bad death for sure. Would like to see Manord detailed there.
Get yourself the surface cleaning attachment for pressure washing the shop floor. BTW Very nice.
Like the floor. Place is coming together. Looking good.
Caulk all the old screw holes from your front signs to seal out water also the seams unless you are having someone coming to trim out with new metal
You have some loyal dedicated employee's brother! Kudos for what I am guessing is a great work environment! 👍
In case that guy hasnt fixed the damaged part of the door when it was being cut larger ----he can patch it back in with cement and once it starts to set he can strike it off to look like the seams in blocks, paint it over to match the color and you would have ro look close to see its not just another cement block
You should clean those lifts and paint them black. Would be pretty cool.
You guys do amazing work, and the shop transformation is becoming amazing as well. Where is it located?
Thank you! Dothan, AL
Maybe able to clean shop floor better with lifts up and out of the way. It's been interesting to watch you change the place.
Man if y’all clean those drains again look into using a industrial vacuum truck to clean them.we had some drains cleaned at work and was crazy what the got out of the drains.
You shld do a shop window in your office. With maybe perf treatment where you can see out, but they can't see in.
I'm not a huge fan of the tile pattern but like the colors. I think when the whole room is done it will look nice. Best of luck.
Nice tile looks more brown or tan than black or gray? But tiles are a good choice and great install!!!thanks john from arizona
My ocd would not allow me to keep the floor tile pattern lol. First section was installed with an every other pattern, I'm assuming you see how I see and wanted a more "random" pattern. BUT idk if I could live with that section mixed with the other pattern. That being said, so excited for you man. It's coming along nicely! Any chance I could buy that "alingment" sign?
Same on the tile but it might not be so bad with the rest of the room completed.
Removing the old signage and then cleaning behind was therapy for my soul.
New to the channel, and definitely like the progress on the floor! Before the foam insulator does his work, I would put a cover over the floor so it doesnt get ruined. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Shane! That’s what we were gonna do 👍
I ran into your channel recently and I can’t wait to see how this shop looks. I detail on the side in my house and seeing transformation like this makes me want to get my garage level up 😂. Great job
Looking great 👍 are you getting a company in to grind the concrete professionally based on your last experience and that this will be front of shop?
The old garage service signs are worth money to a collector, especially the sign with a spelling mistake.
Everything is looking great, love seeing these updates. I’m gonna have to hit I20 and come check it out in person!
Just a suggestion, many cities require permits and reviews for new signs. You might get by saving a lot just wrapping the old metal panels and replacing the light box face. Keeping the exact sq footage.
We are going through the application process now for the permit
They are all great coworkers!
Look into buying your own snake for the drain for future n also buy extra tiles for future broken tiles n or you will have a hard time finding replacement tile after a years of installed they won't make it anymore.
I don't know where you're located, but hire a Septic Tank cleaning company and they will back the truck up to the drain and suck all that debris out of the pipes. Just an idea to think about.
Great Sho Progress!!! Can’t wait to see the final product!
Love the colour of floor
You should sell those old signs to guys who decorating a mancave in their house or their garage.
Looking good, it takes time for all the work you're doing!!!! ✌
Have your drains jetted out. That way you’ll know for sure they’re clear and clean all the way through.
Wow the shop is coming along fast! The air suspension on the ram was clutch 🤙
Shop is starting to look slick, well done to everyone there. 🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍
The floor looks great can't wait to see it finally finished
As long as ive been subscribed, this mans never took his hat off😂who is this guy?
Love that tile 💯
Storm needs a raise!
Storm is crushing it! Great work
Loving the shop build I can’t wait to see it when it’s done. Keep pushing forward
Thanks Shawn!
@@ParoDoXz I have a couple of pictures that I would like to send to you, related to exterior of bay doors.
@@silashulse4601 IG@ parodoxz
Did you tile over linoleum?
Yeah.. that was a big red flag for me... tile won't stick to plastic. Unless i'm missing something.
@@WilliamPozo yea I just bought another house and laundry room had pockets you could feel under the tile and it just didn’t feel right walking on it …ripped all the tile out and they went right over the linoleum. Worst part was rented an electric scraper from Home Depot and it only took an hour to take it to the slab and do it right.
Call a sewer vac truck they can do all of that in an hour or so
Storm is a great employee you gotta keep that man.
Keep these remodel videos coming. Great content
Crazy to think it all started with building diesels and riding 4 wheelers and now he’s detailing high end cars
Great job. Storm is really nailing it!!
That shop is coming together, it looks great!
Make sure they cover the floor in plastic before they start spray foaming so it doesn't fall and screw up they new tile floor
Sooooo wish you were closer to Michigan.
all that "kitty litter" is floor dry from trying to absorb oil and other fluids that have been spilled over the years, just ends up in the drains
Love the progress. Terrible tile layout though. A little more planning and you wouldn’t have such a repetitive pattern
Hope the tiler is “buttering” the tiles he’s laying!
Looking good
Ohhh. The drains. I'd billing Napa the cost of cleaning for improper disposal of litter... let alone what laws The company broke..
Hell yeah storm is the shit!! The shop is coming together beautifully!!
I thought the former NAPA guys were taking their lifts. Was wondering when they were going away.
Are you going to remove those car lifts? It's probably oil-dri not kitty litter.
Better put a bead of clear sealant under the signs b4 u put them back up so u don't have all that nasty dirt and water getting behind the panel. It doesn't really matter just leave of mind..
So the Car Lifts are gonna stay?
Storm, absolute legend!!
Great job
This Shop is going to be awesome can't wait for the content thats coming!!
Parodoxz the floor looks awesome saucem for ever from ELLEE'S ADVENTURES VLOGS from Australia.
Looks good keep it up! Still working the cop job?
Man it sure would’ve been faster and easier to jet those drains with a pressure washer and jet hose you can get them cheap on Amazon and do it yourself or hire a professional to come in and clear them all it would be way faster and work a lot better especially if you’re gonna be pressure washing a lot in there yer gonna need good drains
Alingments cost extra! It's Napa know how.
When are they taking out those lifts? Or did I miss that are your keeping them?
Floors look great man everything your doin is lookin great
Thanks man!
Keep up great work guys
Should of found a vac service to suck all that crud out of those drains
Are you keeping the lifts installed?
A little late now...but a vac-con truck would have sucked all the drains clean in a matter of minutes.....
Isn't alignment spelled wrong? Lol. Anyway, great job on the shop. The progress is amazing and you are a very impressive young man. Good Luck! Edit: If I would have watched 5 seconds longer I would have seen that the spelling was discussed on the video. That's very funny.
Haha thanks Stan!
Are the lifts staying
Amazing bro
It has came a long way man I love it looks so much better
Well you know his nickname needs to be Storm Drain now!
Man i wish i could pay for this stuff to get done to my car. 2015 Nissian Alt been taking good care of it and use for uber and people love the car. Did add new radio and subs to the radio with amps on door and back speakers. Cleaning and taking care of my ride.
What wheels and tires do you have on your RAM? Been looking around for mine.
What in tarnation s..! Haven’t seen your videos in a while and you got hair now? I have to go back and watch all the other vids you put out. I think I left off when you got your 2nd gen.!
Let that beard grow man looks good!
It’s coming together
Are you located in Beaverton OR?
Coming along well man
Floor looks alright
I think a white gloss marble tile would look good or a marble black but it still looks good
How come you selling the new truck? Saw it on Facebook market other day
I can send a vacuum truck over and clean the drains no problem
