Been using the VRS pedals since the first few production batches (about 2 years) and waited a bit on preorder for them too. I absolutely love them and swear by them. They're like an aluminum profile cockpit but pedals. Universally adjustable and extremely smooth. I can never see myself using another pedal set and don't ever foresee these breaking.

The only thing I worry about is the loadcell lifespan tbh, but I hope VRS can provide those after warranty is over.

Great review! Agree with everything in this video. Have had my VRS pedals since August 2021 and they are the best pedals I’ve ever had. I’ve had a couple of sets of old Thrustmaster pedals, Fanatec clubsport V1’s, and ProtoSimTech PT1’s and these VRS pedals are just in their own league.
Smooth, adjustable, responsive, quiet and so far their reliability has been 100%. No issues whatsoever.
And truly great value for money.
    Keep the great content coming!

You talk about the progression of the pedal on 40:46. Thank you very much for noting it in the video. I spend a lot of my time drifting, and on drifting, the throttle control is probably one of the most important things. So, having a throttle where you can reliably know how much % you're pressing just on muscle memory is very important :)

I like their brake pedal pivot a lot, smart way to eliminate the motion ratio change with travel. The brake pedal springs are a nice touch too. I just ordered some springs to replace the elastomers on my HPPs to see how they feel, I’d like to get some simulation of the initial master cylinder cutoff and pad travel before disc contact so it’s cool to see how other pedals approach that

@@enriquelemus1337 Hey mate, actually ended up with the Simagic P1000i pedals with haptics on the brake pedal. The VRS were out of stock and didn’t have a solid ETA, no complaints about the Simagic pedals though, feel way better than the V3s and you can add hydraulics and haptics as an option…haven’t added hydraulics as yet, doesn’t seem to be a necessary as they already feel great. The haptics on the brake for lock up and abs is awesome. You instinctively release the pedal when it kicks in, it gave me a way more intuitive way of finding the braking limits.

Daily used these pedals for a significant amount of time. They were and still are my favorite set of pedals. However, I'm my use case, they had 1 flaw. No dampers. They are all built with the mounts for them, all their media pictures them, yet they just aren't putting in the effort to get the dampers finished and out for sale due to their team feeling "they are not necessary". Damper for the throttle can make up for the fact that there is very little difference between fully soft and fully stiff on the throttle spring and the throttle not giving quite enough feedback for someone that needs a stiffer throttle pedal. Curious how it will affect the brake, but with all the talk and workarounds on their discord, VRS really needs to have some option springs for the brake. One for in between the blue and red and one stiffer than the red. Found it really not possible to set the brake up to achieve that very stiff, low amount of movement even with the spring compressed with extra preload and the longest the tie rod can go. Due to these very small items, I chose to move to the HE Ultimate plus pedals and have been significantly faster with them. As soon as the dampers and a spring upgrade are available, I will be buying them again. But to be fair, buying a longer tie rod may allow for the feeling I need out of the brake pedal.

I would find it difficult to believe someone complain about never getting the VRS pedal set to feel the way they want. The set is very fiddly, but intentionally so that whatever feel you prefer is there. You just have to spend time tweaking the set. Other sets may lock you in to a feel, e.g. aestek pedals are a short, stiff throw. What if you don't want a short, stiff throw? Well, you're stuck. It takes time but you can find your setup with the VRS. I think the versatility in adjustments is the major advantage to the VRS pedals, but be warned you'll need to invest some time dialing it in. Also, the bolts are helluva tight from the factory. You'll want some long handle hex or ratchet with hex adapters.
    You can't be disappointed.

Will be a huge jump in the feel and overall build quality. I went from V3s to the BJ Steel GT Pro and there is alread a HUGE difference. Treshold braking is amazing (never managed to get the V3s to behave like I wanted) and another huge difference is the throttle pedal feel. And with these it should be even better. So I would say go for it

I recently bought a set of these for my new rig and have found the actual pedals not so bad.....BUT the software is ordinary . If you have all 3 pedals, the system will calibrate normally, but after replacing my brake pedal with simucube, it turned to shit. With only 2 pedals in the system, it had major issues. For over $1000 a set, the software should be a whole lot better.
On my first rig, I had a set of Heuskinveld Pro Pedals, and would still buy them over these, purely on the software alone. I also found their brake pedals to be better as well, but that's just me.

Hey Will, great review. Have you ever thought of doing a ‘Will Score’ (aka Doug Score)? With all the choices available it can be a little overwhelming trying to compare product A to B, A to C etc… If you had a spreadsheet with various categories rated, it would make comparing pedals more straightforward and easier to make a purchasing decision. Just a thought.

I have tried only a few pedals. I owned the TCLM's, now I own the Simgrade VX Pros. Before buying my VX's, I tried a friends VRS pedals for about 10-15 minutes & another friend & I were incredibly impressed. I'm still trying to get my Simgrades to where I want, trying different configurations after 3 mths. I barely tried the Ultimate's at a Microcenter, so I can't comment on those but the VRS are best pedals my friends & I have tried.
