- A great addition to mealworms- Peanut Beetles. Perfect for small reptiles and geckos. Easy to care for and breed. Everyone keeping small geckos should have a culture of Peanut Beetles - Just don't eat them!
Great tropical fish food as well.

Wow, this is amazing. They are basically miniature mealworms.
YES! I just need to figure out a better way to harvest.
I didn't catch the video editing until watching you eat them many times.
Mmmmmmmmmm chocolate sprinkles. If nothing else, I hope it caught people's attention and made some people smile.
This is the first time I've heard of "peanut beetles". Thanks for letting me know they exist.
My pleasure entirely. Thank you so much for watching.
Very informative! Thank you!😊
Thank you very much.
Loved the intro! I actually got some peanut Beatles with my dubia roaches last sewerfest! I didn't know what they were until I watched this video. Might start a little bit of a breeding thing with them!
Nice! Are you sure they are peanut beetles?
And thank you for the nice comment.
@@SupremeGecko I'm almost positive they are.
@@WildLife_Perspective Great. What do the worms look like?
@@SupremeGeckokinda like the ones in the video.
I cannot believe you ate insects.
I thought you were going to say 'I can't believe you ate the whole thing'
Great source of protein!
Rofl great intro there.
It was fun to make :)
Woww, why i just seen this video, this a good info, the creature that i need for my dart frog feeder, i think mealworm are easy to get, but they too big, and then, peanut beetle is just like dwarf version of mealworm, ok hope they're fit enough to geat eaten by dendrobates leucomelas froglet? Anyone ? But not problem, even if it just fit for adult, but most important thing is they're smaller and we can harvest the worm, not the beetle. Thanks so much, Sir
Thanks for stopping by and watching. These peanut beetles should be kept by EVERY hobbyist that keeps smaller animals. GREAT food.
It would have been awesome if you showed how you collect the worms. But these definitely look a bit more robust than (confused)rice flour beetle worms and both seem to be a lot better for feeding small terrestrial geckos than bean beetles...with the exception that bean beetles are edible whereas only the worms are edible here. It might also be nice to include/mention how one might responsibly dispose of a culture/colony should they no longer need it.
Great points! I try to cover as much as I possibly can in these video but, in hindsight those would have been great pieces of info to add. Next time, contact me before I do a video so I can include everything ;) Thanks hmx.
Ok so next time you have to use jelly! That is just to much "Peanuts" 🤣
...but seriously I hope that was chocolate!
Good call. My video editing trickery didn't fool ya. (chocolate sprinkles :)
@@SupremeGeckoWally I am ready to try some peanut beetles for Pumpkin. Will you let me know when you have a culture ready so I can buy some Supreme Beetles!
@@BOB-ud4gy Hey Bob, can you please Email me on this. I will get you a starter culture for just the cost of shipping if you like.
@@SupremeGecko sent😁
Nice thumbnail!
Thanks Zach. I didn't want to be over dramatic but thought that would catch people's attention. Hard to make peanut beetles 'exciting' :)
I had never heard of peanut beetles before so I thought you were trolling.
@@zacharymiller7641 Woke up at 2am last night thinking about the intro, and how to make this topic a bit more entertaining :)
Great information
Thanks. Do you use peanut beetles at all? Have you in the past?
@@SupremeGecko nope never heard of them.
I will definitely have to check these out they seem super simple to breed! Thkse worms would be great for small tarantulas!
I may offer these for sale shortly on the store.
Great video Wally! The intro certainly got my attention! 👍
Rus, thank you so much. Gotta have fun with it. I really thought I would get at least one person commenting about getting sick eating beetles and that I shouldn't have shown this ;)
nice
Thank you.
Are peanut beetle worms better feeders than buffalo beetle worms?
Well, they are different for sure. I like the small size of the peanut beetle more personally. Thanks for watching
LOL
Hope you enjoyed it.
they look tasty yum yum lmao this was great information
I'll bring some the next time I see you and we will have a sandwich together.
Great video. How I can get them in Canada?
Hi Mohammad, I cannot ship to Canada but I believe there are a couple great keepers that you can contact. If you have a problem finding one, just PM me on FB and I will look for you.
This would be great for slings!
Did you see the size of the worms? I think you are right on!
@@SupremeGecko right!
They are so tiny. What to you feed these to?
They are! Very small geckos.
What!!!!
:) What!!! What?
@@SupremeGecko! Don't you what, what me! You know what you did!! Lol!
You ate them! LoL
@@houseofinvertebrates2869 ............... or did I ;)

Hello like the video do you ever have any pairs of geckos for sale
Hi. I sure do. This year, I held a bunch back to gather more breeder groups. I think the only pairs we have currently is Hemidactylus tanganicus (which are pretty cool).
Supreme Gecko ok I was wondering about crested geckos
@@EastCoastFinz06 I'm almost sold out now but if you message me on FB or my Email, I can tell you what I have left still.
Supreme Gecko ok you are talking about adult breeding pairs of crested geckos right
