Rita and the family was truly the heart of the show. Dexters whole world shattered the day Rita died🥲💔
Dexter's proposing to Rita and her kids is one of the most beautiful moments in the series. What happened to Rita was a tragedy, Cody, Esther and Harrison had their life ruined as well. I think Dexter truly loved her and absolutely hated how Season 4 ended. They could ve done more with her character.
I wonder if Trinity told Rita who Dexter truly was as he killed her.

Technically, Dexter worked forensics. He would have the knowledge of how to cook heroin and how much to give a person of what weight. That's basics for forensics.
I mean his Dad and him working with the police would give him a lot of knowledge on drugs, how people use it, etc.
Yeah but then how would they have done season 3 if Dexter didn't lie about his addiction 😂😂

Not all branches of forensics. To make heroin, you still need morphine anyway. Calculating mg/kg is pretty easy regardless of experience or technical knowledge.
It's kind of basic for anyone to figure out really. It's sold by the dose, basically.
God, Julie Benz was one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. At the end of Angel and here is when she was at her most stunning. A shame we don't see her in movies much anymore.

I just finished watching Dexter season 4, and I'm so unhappy right now because of how it ended.She countered the darker aspects of the show and was far too ideal. Although I am aware that Julie Benz is still alive, it is heartbreaking that her character died way too soon. I could have watched Dexter and Rita's chemistry for ages without getting bored.

@@AJ0223 I am reading that book right now, it is not as bad as they say. They could have just omitted the demonic spirit part and adapted the rest, for example making The Cult of Moloch the big bad of the season

Man I hated Rita just being in the show. Until the end of season 4. Then I realized how important she was.

This show sucked the moment Rita died they didn’t have to do that & it would’ve been better if she found out about Dexter than just killing her off.
