I didn't like the way they gave her such a gutter mouth. The F bombs were way overdone. At the beginning, I thought it was because she worked Vice but even when she got her wish to get into Homicide and finally be taken seriously as a cop, she still did it.
Its not about what you like, Deb's death was vital for Dexter's arc that he was foolish to think that he could live a double life, which is what he strived to do through the whole show. Deb's death was his final realisation that he couldn't do it, so he saved Harrison and Hannah by attempting to off himself
@@debra2700People took Debra serious as a cop because of her amazing police work, her instincts were insanely good in A LOT of cases. I love the show so much but there are two episodes that still make me bawl so damn much and y'all already know what two episodes those are.
You know, I always wondered if the Trinity Killer told Rita who Dexter really was before killing her... It would have been interesting to see if Rita found out before she died.
@@wonderwomanredsonTrinity did not know that Dexter was a serial killer himself until he was on his table. He just assumed that he was some weirdo vigilante guy.

Best show I ever watched!! I was hooked on that from the start!! I was truly sad it came to an end!! I watched 16 episodes in a row in one day!! I had leg cramps trying to get out of the recliner!! AWESOME SHOW!!
Season 1-3 were televisual gold. Michael C Hall was (and will again be) absolutely brilliant as Dexter. Roll on the resurrection . . . You can't keep a good man down.
8:39 It's cool that MCH answers that because it was very disappointing that Batista did not show up. In a screenplay, there are the setup and then the pay-off follows. But who knows what we'll see in _Dexter : resurrection..._ Batista's return ? Vince or even Joey Quinn ? Quinn is the white Doakes lol.
I’m watching again and am on the start of Season 6. That one lady asked “Deb” about her scene with Dexter when Lundy died. Watching it back, I actually could not believe how good that acting was. It was so real. She was phenomenal throughout Dexter, but that scene was out of this world acting. 👏
27:36 Reminds me of when dexter is watching football with miguel and he says "Im more of a national geographic type of guy... The occasional penguin!"... That line and the face he makes live in my head rent free 😂😂
Michael just seems like a cool dude. I mean the guy looks like he literally just rolled out of bed, threw on some clothes, and showed up without combing his hair. I aspire to be like that. Jennifer seems like a genuine person. Maybe a bit of an introvert and awkward, but she comes off as sincere.
I would have liked to have seen the Cody and Astor storylines play out in the series the way it did in the books. I'd like to know if Julie is more known as Rita or as Darla.
One of my favourite series of all time. Not gonna be the same without Debra though now that shes dead dont really wanna continue seeing what goes on without her in the upcoming series
Jennifer seemed pretty uncomfortable. I think being close to an ex, a true ex, would do that to most people. I dont know for sure thats why she seems so unnerved but i think its a good and educated guess. Unresolved feelings.
They're very close friends so it can't be the ex thing. Maybe she figured Michael would get most of the questions and then Julie kept stepping in and taking advantage of the fact that Jennifer seemed almost shy.
I mean, they claim to be close friends, but people lie when they've got an entertainment conglomerate telling them to smile for the cameras. Her body language says that she doesn't like sitting with or engaging him. Idk what happened in their marriage, but they sure don't look close to me.
@@ContentMadame I've watched a bunch of these from different shows and it seems that the audience can direct too many questions at one or two people and leave the others out. It has to be uncomfortable for the people sitting there getting very little attention. The worse one I ever watched was the cast of Pretty Woman and all of the questions were directed to Julia Roberts and Richard Gere to the point that it was embarrassing for the others. I think the dynamics of these "show reunions" tend to be stressful. From everything I've read, Jennifer and Michael have remained great friends.

same, i just finished after binging all of it. insanely good series and a fucked up and really sad ending...
The first season aired in 2006. Which means it's 17 years old now.
Quick mafs
I was born in 2005 and just found the show it’s weird huh
thanks for reminding
I have watched Dexter, every single episode, all 8 seasons, I think 4 times through and I just finished New Blood and I'm ready to start Dexter over again for the 5th time. I love the show so much but there are two episodes that still make me bawl so damn much and y'all already know what two episodes those are.
What a great experience to be a part of! Shout-out to my wife's head!
Is it any good?
@@hodgepodge0 😭😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love them I feel like they’re my friends I love Micheal
Same! I hope to one day meet them
Yaaaa they're back!!! the most epic tv show ever!
I want Julie to explain how she thinks Rita would respond to finding out about Dexter's secret
When Dexter left after Rita was killed. And he beat that guy at the boat gas station. Then harry told him it’s alright to show how he’s feeling. When Dexter broke down. Man I cried. I have a problem showing my real emotions. That scene got me
The scene where Deb shot laguerta and immediately ran to her crying no always gets me. Her acting was insane
Dexter season 5 is unmatchable as long as acting is concerned; people often ignore this fact but it's true
@@teenscorner7828 yeah it was top tier. Season 5 was my favorite season
And Dexter New Blood had Michael's song Ketamine!
Watching Dexter sereis 6th time, every year I watch this series and will watch till its my last year.
The cast was excellent, the idea was fantastic.
Really enjoyed all eight seasons. Well acted.
Julie has the most beautiful smile!
i really like seeing Jennifer and Michael together!!!!!
Dexter blends in very well there.

David Zayas is Bautista for those wondering
I Googled him 😂
Didn't see enough Batista in New Blood, that was disappointing, as I'd got so excited to see his lovely face again.
Thanks tips 😌
The only actor in the show whose first and last name during the opening montage credits is written in two separate lines via a line break.
Yes, I notice these little things.
Dude so awesome to see these folks out answering fan questions and interacting! Just shows that they are good people! Even after a decade that’s really cool of them! Good ish! 👍
Literally just started to watch this show last week. Im on season 7 right now n fuckin love it. I stayed up late as hell, till like 1am for some n when Rita died, I was crushed n couldnt stop cryin. Then couldnt fall asleep 😂
Watching New Blood right now, love me some Dexter ❤️
dexter is the best show ever made
Best show I ever watched!! I was hooked on that from the start!! I was truly sad it came to an end!! I watched 16 episodes in a row in one day!! I had leg cramps trying to get out of the recliner!! AWESOME SHOW!!
I would have loved to have seen this in Pittsburgh. I wished they'd come back!!!
I wish they'd come to the UK!
My dark passenger longs to watch the complete series again. Season 1 was brilliant...
Season 1-3 were televisual gold. Michael C Hall was (and will again be) absolutely brilliant as Dexter. Roll on the resurrection . . . You can't keep a good man down.
Jennifer looks very anxious here at some moments. I hope she’s okay!!
so glad Dexter ressurection is coming..and just watched episode 1 of "origins"....so so good
It’s the personality of the these three and their energy
Holy crap, Julie Benz actually has the Rita laugh in real life. Nooooo!
probably because she is Rita
actually what would warrant a "holy crap" is if Jennifer Carpenter laughed like Rita
Hella annoying
@@HaiderAli-uj1kv how is laughing annoying? Lol
Strange this has popped up as I’m binge watching it …. again 😂
Same. They are spying on us
I wish they would bring this show back! Dexter is the bomb!
Carpenter is fucking outstanding. Top level actor tbh. Not to say the others aren't phenomenal.
Yess!!
Man I love Julie so much
My favourite show of all time !!!
I didn't even realise the girl on the left was rita until she mentioned Rita 😭
I didn’t recognize Rita with darker hair.
Jennifer seems very u comfortable .
I'm on season 3 of Dexter and it's brilliant.
I miss them , miss Dexter Show couldnt they make something like Dexter Legacy Season would have been Awesome
Bruhhh Deb never aged that’s insane
8:39 It's cool that MCH answers that because it was very disappointing that Batista did not show up. In a screenplay, there are the setup and then the pay-off follows. But who knows what we'll see in _Dexter : resurrection..._ Batista's return ? Vince or even Joey Quinn ? Quinn is the white Doakes lol.
The only web series that i emotionally attached ❤❤
What about sopranos, breaking bad, six feet under, havent you watched them?
@@Juznapruga123breaking bad deffo Jesse
@@Juznapruga123yep, and his opinion stands corrected.
man i love jennifer so much ❤
Debra
You just have to watch the opening credits of DEXTER and once he turns to the camera and smiles, YOU ARE HOOKED.
Actually i saw in the trades that Showtime announced this year they doing a Dexter Origins spin off and another spinoff on Harrison!
When?
@@a-oh2bc not sure maybe they’ll be an update now that strikes over
@@MirandaSpigener we’re gonna get young Sheldon the Dexter version
Boy were you wrong
I finish watch DEXTER AND DEXTER NEW BLOOD....masterpiece ❤ ..
Rita is so stunning omfg aged like fine wine
They all look great Michael C easily do the years between the end of the Dexter and before New Blood
One of my favourite series of all time. Not gonna be the same without Debra though now that shes dead dont really wanna continue seeing what goes on without her in the upcoming series
Great interview with my favourite cast/show. I also started the first book but stopped as i found it a little too graphic.
@@ContentMadame Got that vibe too in this video, but in all the other interviews & posts involving them, it seems like they’re genuinely good friends.
One of my favorite series ever. Yes the end to old and new bothered me but as a whole, i love it
