DUDE, this is my favorite demo of yours yet! And not just because I'm a humongous fan of Gojina! That demo you did with the plug-in sounds like a full length song that I would buy the vinyl for.
I think Neural outdid themselves here. This isn't just "gojira" tone here. There is a full spectrum of tone here. Everything you can think of, this plug in can do. Beats Nolly by a mile.
Probably been working on it since last month so he could get used to the plugin. That's why almost everyones demo came out at pretty much the same time. Neural dsp probably gave everyone a month to get used to the demo and make a song. And gave everyone a due date.
Damn I thought I cut them all out haha guess I missed one. Yeah this was filmed in December originally. I had to reshoot the whole intro because I was originally wearing a Santa hat and I was like this makes no sense now lol. That's also why I have a different haircut and a few other small things in the intro
Reminds me of the sanitarium clean riffs from Metallica. I know you want original sounds but when you give it the extra echo and gain the sounds they are amazing...almost like a stadium sound
Yeah, this plugin has really outdone itself, I've not even gone through a lot of tweaking to get a nasty tone, this plugin has given this year hope of being good
Would you be willing to go through the loathe pre sets on the baritone? I’m looking in the process of sorting out a recording set up but interested to see what they came up with.
Hey Andrew, if you ever see this, I will like your advice. I am thinking of getting one of the neural DSP plugins, and the two I can't decide between are the plini and the gojira one. What plugin would you recommend?
Not sure if mine is different somehow or if they've changed it since you made this video, but a few things are different for me. Fatso mode doesn't add an octave up and an octave down. It's just a pitch shifter with a dry/wet knob. The octave pedal also doesn't add an octave up. Octave 1 adds 1 octave lower, and octave 2 adds 2 octaves lower. Is anyone else's plugin different?
I am using the 14 day trial of this and I can't get streamlabs OBS nor Ableton to pick this up. I just get my normal guitar tone like this Neural software isn't even on.
@@formatcforcortex I just got the Gojira plugin and now I'm really contemplating selling the hd500x, but then I won't have anything for love situations.
As far as i've loved this plugin so far, never ever something impressed me as the Nameless plugin, it is just heavier and more brutal, that's still the best vst distortion wise for me.
Never heard of that one. I'm new to plugins period. Kinda shopping around, as I can't stand the stock gain tones that are in GarageBand. Anyway, is that one Neural, as well?
Yo Andrew, just got my first 7 string, 27", it came with .9s tuned std. I put. 10s on it, dropped it a whole step to A std, and it feels slinky... what am I doing wrong? Plz help.
@@my_name_was_stolen what gets me confused is the .9s were tight at standard tuning.. I figured if I dropped .9s to a standard they would be too floppy.. but 10.s were too slinky
@@adamd.6698 well, you just need to find your favourite ones. For you it's slinky, for somebody it might be ok, depends on the way you play, your attack and tightness, so yeah, experiment!
Not trying to be a dick, but they didn't make an album about flying whales. Just had a song named that. Which, isn't even about flying whales lol. It's a concept album that's basically about war. Sick riffs & review, though 🤘🏻
It don't matter how many UA-camrs Neural DSP pays to make a sponsored video for their new plugin, I won't be buying it unless Gojira use it exclusively for their new album or in their next live tour. These signature plugins are coming out left and right, yet, none of the artists use them on an album or live. Imagine a new signature guitar comes out and 300 UA-camrs get paid to make videos about it but the artist never plays it. Would you buy it?
Buddy, if you have thousands upon thousands of dollars to drop on the gear Gojira use in studio and live then by all means. Otherwise this is an affordable and convenient alternative to get their sound and plenty of others.
The octave pedal, whammy pedal are the big things for me here. The octave tracks really well, and the whammy is better than the other VSTs I've tried besides maybe Helix Native. As for the amps, I feel like I'm already pretty covered with the Plini. So far the only two I have bought are Plini and Grano. All of the Archetypes are great for covering 90% of what you would need.

Can you make my commercial when I sign on to your videos a pizza hut commercial?? It happens just now so I want it to happen everytime!
I’ll whammy your octave pedal
How did you comment 4 days ago on a video released today?
Good lord the demo song rips
Gojira meets djent meets Carcossa
That song in the beginning was tight af boi
this video should be called the heaviest plugin of the universe
I knew other people were going to title their video that so I chose not to haha

This is sick! These riffs are amazing. ❤️💀🙏🏽👍🏽

This sounds so damn good. Great review as always
I’ve been waiting for this
It took about 30 seconds of using this sim to decide I was going to buy it. So good.
That tone is just crushing
I need a full song of that demo.

1:33 hit me almost as hard as hearing stranded for the first time
Hey Andrew! Epic video my guy! What was your processing like for the rthm guitars? And Did you use any compression at all?
Your song sounded like Conquering Dystopia but more deathcore-ish! Awesome 🔥🔥🔥
It was basically a Gojira style song tbh, I think that was the intention. Except he's using 7 strings.
Yeah, this plugin has really outdone itself, I've not even gone through a lot of tweaking to get a nasty tone, this plugin has given this year hope of being good
This is so sic bro!
This demo song would be awesome to hear fully fleshed-out with vocals
Also sounds like dolphins from outer space. Killer tone. I'm getting it asap.
It actually...sounds... like Gojira!
Crazy!!
Been waiting for this one
Oh that’s lovely 😊 😊 Hello adorable how are you doing today how’s work and family? Complement of the season 🌹🌷🥀🌸🥰

Andrew, what did you use for drums on this? Sounds outstanding, let me know.
Great ! this is perfect drums ?
That stereo tracking feature is fucking genius

the heaviest plugin? How much does it weight? (In gigabytes)
what pickups are you running in this beast?

I would love to see the whammy or octave drop as a stand-alone for like 30$
Drt seems to be a ProcoRat, if that's true, filter works different than tone!
I think I might dump bias fx 2 for this, THIS SOUNS KILLER
You should dump bias fx regardless
this is so good man! whats the inspiration for this song? ;)
It's like if he took Gojira and mixed it with modern death metal. Pretty sick
How does he automate the pedal at 7:09
Dayummmmmmm!!!!!

The demo is if gojira got a 7 string and tuned it drop A aka that was awesome
"Full demo mix" most heard words from Andrew
how did you get your palm mutes sound like that?
Technique and the plug-in response.
Im contemplating selling my Pod HD500x and going fully digital with this plugin
