I like the way Jason takes normal stuff and turns it into poetry . In the song Alabama Pines for instance: "You can't drive through Talledega on that weekend in October. Just head up north to Jacksonville, cut around and over. Watch your speed in Boiling Springs...they ain't got a thing to do and they'll get you every time." He takes the act of giving directions and makes it beautiful and so steeped in "Southerness" you feel like you've been there.
Brilliant musician & in my opinion a genius lyricist but the emotion that he invokes in the listener through the combination of all of the above reveal why he stands out & shines brighter than the rest

You may be related....but obviously the talent gene skipped your part of the tree. His music does not "suck"....he is an amazing song writer which is why he received Album of the year from the Americana Music & Awards. Where are you awards? Sour grapes is an ugly bumper crop.

You do not have the ability it appears to have a civil conversation so you must to trailer trash talk. I listen to probably every type of music there is out there and so yes I am objective, I attended his concert in Anaheim , Ca and there were 20'.30's up to 60 maybe older just enjoying great music it was a sold out event. So there are plenty of people that do not agree with your assessment of his music.
