I feel like you kinda forgot to mention something very important that when used as medical anesthetic it's also mixed with oxygen because when used over a longer period of time (as little as between 2 balloons) you need oxygen. That's a very big reason why so many party people hurt themselves (often permanently) they don't get enough oxygen between the balloons. This is an increasing problem as it gets more popular as a party drug. Here in Scandinavia it's very common and now most people order 600g tubes instead of multi-packs of 8g cartridges like the ones displayed in your video. It's a relatively safe drug, but also easy to misuse.

Lol at the above comment. But it's worth mentioning that to cause permanent hypoxemic damage with nitrous oxide, it would take a very long time without oxygen and it is very unlikely to happen before you knock yourself out. It's not safe if you're in a vulnerable position under the influence of nitrous in absence of oxygen without any means of removing the nitrous source should you pass out because then you could very easily die (Ie stuck with a trash bag full of nitrous gas on your head... I feel like I read about someone doing that).

It is not safe. It is one of the dangerous ones. Regular use quickly depletes b12 and can cause severe harm.

I actually knew someone who was addicted to nitrous. He breathed N2O all day, every day, for YEARS. haven't spoken to him in a while but he is probably still doing the same thing. Dude eventually started seeing entities talking to him telling him what to do with his life. As far as I know he still thinks they're real and not just effects of his brain being fried. Stay safe with this stuff everyone
Edit: since this is getting likes: make sure to NOT be standing up when doing this and inhale enough oxygen along with the n20 to avoid brain damage from hypoxia

I know certain drugs can bring out things like schizophrenia if you're genetically prone to it, and schizophrenia can randomly appear in otherwise healthy individuals that don't have a history of drug use in their 20's if there's a familial history. I don't want to armchair diagnose your friend but it *does* sound an awful lot like schizophrenia. I hope he's doing well. 🙏

I was addicted to these. Done thousands and thousands. 50 per day in (1-2 binges) on average for 6 months. Used for anxiety and alcoholism withdrawals. They stop working and give you chronic anxiety. Not only that, it slowly depleted my b12 to the point I’d have severe constant nausea, shivering(feverish) thick tongue, anger, aggression, dizziness, depression. You can’t just take b12 and it magically fixes the issues. Took 3 months of recovery and work leave, while using heavy doses of b12. Over time it needs to build up. Never suffered any permanent neurological damage though, but I think I was dang close. If you do them, use sparingly and take many days off at a time. Eat lots of red meat and take that b12 and keep it from slowly depleting. Not to mention the price of these things add up quick😅😅 glad I’m back and great video!

I did many times over a hundred a day for probably a lil over 3-4 months. I didnt keep track. They stopped doing anything other than causing chest pain. I started to only feel the initial few hits and only after i took a long break. I love these harm reduction videos because ppl are going to get high regardless so why not give them info to help them stay safe while doing it. There aren't many drugs that I have not done. I certainly have had ample experience with all of the illicit drugs of household name popularity, many of which could be rightfully characterized as drug abuse/addiction. Anyway, I mention all of that to say this. By far the scariest, most intense, and least comfortable drug for me is Marijuana. I realize this may sound shocking or even unbelievable to some but I've heard many people echo the same sentiments as mine about weed. Pot is fucking nuts! Nowadays especially. IMO Weed sucks.

Ive mixed it with a lot of things and every single time its been completely different. The first time I ever did it with MDMA i was being transported to completely different dimensions, and when I was ‘coming back’ from them I knew what the people around me were going to say before they said it. Like I could see just a second or two into the future. The craziest trip I had was at a festival on MD, Ket, acid and mushies. I would do a hit and feel my consciousness leave my body, and I would be in the same ‘place’ in the tent but a completely different dimension. Almost like the upside down in stranger things. One of them the tent turned into a giant clock and there was a shadow creature walking over the top of it, another everything turned into fractals and I became everything in the tent and could control the body of my friend in front of me. Another the tent turned into what I can only describe as flesh. Despite some of it being ‘scary’ i wasnt actually scared. The one trip that scared me was recently when I was on just mushies and did a hit, and it felt like something was wrapping around my body and I thought I could control my heartbeat. Probably wont do that combination again for a while, but thats the only bad experience ive ever had.

I got slightly addicted to mixing them with acid at one point and experienced all sorts of absolutely crazy things the deeper I dived into it. A few times, I would live through a FUTURE memory of me tripping absolute balls. When it would happen, I wouldn't think anything too deep about it. But then like 2 months later I would be tripping and would see the exact same thing I saw previously in the whippet "vision". It absolutely blew my mind and started kind of freaking me out because every time I would trip, I would realize that I've already lived through this whole fucking experience on whippets like months ago. A couple little clips of reference, but not too much or too little; not to fast (hah nos...) not too slow; the zoom outs and different camera angles. Nitrous hallucinations have always fascinated me. I got the pinwheels, sure, but i got so much more than that. I got pattern recognition, some drifting, geometry, and sometimes (often with closed eyes) i experienced full-on hallucinatory scenarios on nitrous, without combining it with anything else. Maybe im just weird. I have narcolepsy so that could be a factor. But yeah, havent encountered many other people with this ecperience.

My friends & I had a 64lb nitro tank, had lots of the same trips ur talking about... The geometric one is always fun, everything in the room broken down to their basic geometric shape... My favorite trip of all time tho was just luck of timing... Was on LSD & mid balloon watching "Who framed Roger Rabbit?", it was that scene where Roger 1st drinks that glass of whiskey & turns all those colors & flies straight up, so that happened, but when Roger flies up out of his seat & straight into the air like a rocket, what I saw was Roger breaking up through the top of the television, broken TV fragments flying around everywhere, the room changing every color Roger turns & since I was in a room with a vaulted ceiling, Roger was literally up near the ceiling doing what he was doing in the movie & when he came back down, he dives back down into the TV violently & the TV fragments reversed back to normal back onto the television & the movie just carried on back to normal... Shit was memorable, was peaking on the L & had the mini peak each balloon does just at that moment in time... one of the few visually scar'd trips I've ever had... There's a few that stand out but damn, that one was fun as hell!!!

If you’re gonna be a dummy and do them straight from the canister, take a paper towel, ball it up and put it inside and change it regularly.
When the cartridge is burst it drops a bit (microscopic probably) of metal into the canister which can get into your lungs and build up over time. The paper towel acts as a filter.

One time on the peak of a very heavy acid trip and directly after a couple bong rips, I took a hit of nitrous and leaned back in my chair and closed my eyes. My consciousness detached from my body and started floating up in my room. I could see a complete 360 degree view of my bedroom and me laid back in my chair. As i moved higher and higher, it exposed more and more versions of myself and my room. Eventually I could see thousands of instances of me in my bedroom. Some of them I was doing the same thing, laid back in my chair zoinked off a hit of nitrous, others I was watching netflix, taking a nap, etc. In my mind I was like holy shit I can see what I am doing in alternate realities. It then hit me that I had no fucking clue which of these rooms was my true reality. I got hella freaked out and started looking, but I could not find the one I originally came from. I picked one of the hundreds of rooms where I was in the same position as I left my original reality, and hopped back in my head. And that is the story about how I am possibly living in a different reality from the one I came from originally😂

I just had an experience last night on lsd where I was controlling my nitrous and oxygen intake with the rule of thumb: 70% n2o, 30% oxygen. I would set the intention to have a spiritual experience while remaining safe and not damaging my body. Every inhale I would estimate about 50-60% n2o inhalation while simultaneously inhaling oxygen through my nose and topping off my lungs with oxygen if needed. Repeating this process put me in a beautifully meditative state where I could feel myself teetering on the edge of consciousness and being able to remain in that peak state for about 20 mins allowed me to have many revelations that I interpreted as me convening with my higher self. I am a devoted psychonaught but your channel has always been the cornerstone of my intention to stay safe and respect my vessel regardless of the experience I am seeking.

I should let everyone know about my own experience with nitrous. I got into nitrous last year and went hard with it for awhile. I did it often with molly which this creator has discussed (its one of the best feelings in the workd combined). After a few weeks of doing nitrous nearly everyday i started to have these really strange symptoms, it was quite scary. My vision was impacted severely and i would get dizzy every few minutes. I tried my best to stop using nitrous but i couldnt quit completely until i had a night where i thought i was going to die. I took a nitrous hit and my heart felt insanely out of wack, my breathing was all jacked i seriously thought i was going to die that night. The next day or shortly after this incident i noticed i would be dizzy, like all day! I would feel like the whole room was spinning just sitting there but especially when i stood up. My nerves just felt completely fucked it was terrifying. All these effects occured for about a week and i wasnt doing any nitrous at this point. Also worth noting i was taking b12 supplements but i dont think it was doing enough. My vision does seem to be slightly affected ever since all this and it might shock you but i still do nitrous on special occasions cause im an addict and nitrous has always been a personal favorite. I hope my story helps someone the key with nitrous is to not overdo it and take long breaks like do it once a month or once a week. I really wish they made nitrous in the same fashion the dentist gives it out cause that stuff always seemed safe when i was doing it in the dental chair.

It's worth noting that the whole reason nitrous causes b12 deficiency is because it actually inhibits your body's ability to absorb b12. And not just when using it, it can disable all your endogenous b12 for up to 3 days after your last use. So even if you're supplementing b12, if you're actively using, it's pretty much all getting expelled through your urine.

Apparently if you do them every day eventually your body just stops trying produce the b12 and that’s when you get serious problems even after quitting. It has nothing to do with lack of oxygen. The N20 inactivates b12 through oxidation. If you do it like once a night every 2 weeks minimum you should be fine. 1 month if you want to be 100%. Once a weekend is probably pushing it and a lot of people do them every fri/sat lol so your body is just returning back to baseline then BAM. That’ll definitely throw you outta wack

I have mixed ketamine and nitrous. Both nitrous trips on the k took me to a golden void/room. The first one I was in a golden place which was inside my brain. I saw the receptors and they were overloaded with so much energy that the receptors/neurons just exploded/popped off and disconnected/died. The 2nd trip on the k I was also in a golden room and I was surrounded by these angelic beings just singing this amazing choir to me. I was walking by them while they were singing. That was so euphoric.
I recently found out the mixing nitrous and ketamine is most likely neurotoxic. That would explain the first trip lol. Most psychedelic experiences have a lot of truth to them I've noticed and there aren't many hallucinations that do not provide meaning or legit information, most if you can decipher the messages to them, some easier than others have some real information/insight to give you more knowledge.

If you can get an air couch centered in front of a stage at a small EDM festival at night, time it so that you're about 5 hours into your acid trip when it gets dark, and the lasers start. at this point in time if you do nitrous, you become everything! 😁 The visuals are phenomenal, the feel of the bass. I would start in the first segment, and tick clockwise into the next one, and as I went all the noise around me came from above me, then to my right, then under me and then my left. I was sitting cross legged on the grass, and with each tick I leant forwards just a little. The further forwards I got, the more I understood about time and space, and then my whole body felt like it dropped down and swung up so that I was in my starting position and began the cycle once more. I came out of it proclaiming that I understood time and space, the answer to it all: everything is a clock!!!
Pretty silly but I truly felt like I’d understood something for a brief moment.

Use to go thru 4-6 boxes of 300 in 2 days. Truly amazing! But once the high goes away you won’t feel goood at alllll. Very addictive/ can induce seizures

the k hole makes so much sense now you explain it how it basically disconnects your spine eyes and ears to be left with the shadow of yourself, the ego

Yup I know someone that did that shit way to much. Hospitalized twice and can barely walk now because of the spinal issues it causes.

Every time I consumed nitrous oxide.. I fell into a visual and auditory time loop. The visual information around me repeated itself in a loop... Like an echo.

This video gave me a strong vibe that it's something safe and that we all should try.
Just saying, the vibe here is really positive.
Meanwhile I know many good people who have been thrown off course by it...
I usually like the attitude in your videos, but it sounds like you're a little biased here.
Sure, you presented the negatives. But you didn't seem interested to stress the negatives, you were more focused on talking about the positives and how it's "Safer than benzos"
Dude, a lot of things are safer than Benzos.
I don't know why because something is safer that makes it good.
Hitting my toe with a ballpeen hammer is safer than a 9 lb hammer...
Does that mean I'm gonna do it?

I used to do that to help withdraw symptoms... just trying ANYTHING to help.. & of course nothing helps completely but it did help a little. NEVER try opiates/opioids people..never.

Anyone here seen anything on the patreon? Done felt like his videos fell off. First decent one I've seen this year. Good job. I can understand if youtube is a reason for the lack of quality. Is shit on the Patreon worth it?

I quite enjoy nitrous in moderation. Used it a little too much last year and fell off my bed and hit my head on my desk but no pain and just kinda stopped buying them unless it’s a special occasion.

I was psychologically addicted to n02 for about a period of 6 months. It started out as they typical dangerous use of the drug, filling my lungs and holding my breath. That was fun for a while, maybe a week or two. Then I fell into the real addiction, instead of holding it in till I pass out, I would slowly sip on the canister, every second or third breath until I was in a Dissociative like state where I had no problems, Where everything was enjoyable, where I could watch the same music videos on repeat and be amassed. Gosh I had so much fun watching TV series and getting lost in a story for hours. I would goto work litterally sick, and ill. Pick up 100 or so bulbs on the way home and get rid of that sickness, back to my happy place. I couldn't eat food without throwing up, I would gag the moment the nang's hit my lips, but I knew after the 2-3rd bulb id be in heaven. And its not like I was unhappy in life either, I enjoy my work, I dunno, it was just an extra slice of cake at the end of the day.
Anyway's, turns out I had given myself acute pneumonia and a B12 deficiency. When I eventually quit i suffered through constant diarrhea, shaking hands, body chills. Luckily for me I haven't developed any brain or nerve damage, but I imagine if I kept going I would have.
The other thing no one talks about is how expensive this addiction is, If you're gonna pick a drug, go with something like pregabalin or a long lasting opioid, something that is a good bang for buck. If you're gonna take a drug, at least take one that's gonna be a small financial strain.
