I have an M1-A, if that's what it should be called, haha. Armscorp reciever, Douglas barrel, all NM parts. Point is, it was hand built 30 years ago by a man that had an enormous impact on shooting sports in Tennessee. His name was Jim Norris, Master Sargent and retired ROTC instructor. He ran the MSSA gun club in Memphis for years. He coached so many people and took us to many highpower shooting matches, including Camp Perry. He was an amazing man and I still have the gun he made me when I was 16 years old. I legged at Camp Perry with it. That gun has so many memories attached to it. It is my most prized possession.

"Hope for the best. But prepare for the worst". Is Worst a word? lol, it just looks so funny.
Nothing stupid is coming out of this gentleman's mouth ❤️🇺🇸
Accuracy is meat on the table, always enjoyed tweaking a scope, but in the woods I don't scope, it's a feel of a lever action Winchester on a moving target.
I would love to get familiar with your luitent's rifle. It's always been at the top of my list. That 308 is probably the round most reliable for our freedom, that is getting pissed away everyday. I enjoy hell outta seeing you waste that lead.
God bless you and John, for educating the community, it gets more valuable everyday.
Is that the fella that sings "I like guns" ? I remember when it came out some years ago now, I couldn't get it stuck outta my head!
It's nice to listen to Hickok45, and to John, all the best :-)
Lorins work is outstanding!
Good old fashioned common sense and guns. Love this channel.
Also thank you for your videos I find them quite entertaining and I also enjoy the education I receive by watching them usually more than once to pick up on all the information that I can about the different firearms that you show
Thank you for your great videos BTW I just bought a Glock 43 X and love it thank you for your video on this gun!!!
Got the feeling you weren't 100% like you had something in real life that was weighing hard.
Your a serious trooper for working thru.
Love your videos and your humor.
👍✌
Thanks for the work you do.☺️
American needs ppl like Hickok45 put a smile on the young one face when you fire a few rounds .
Hey Hickok45 THANK YOU for being a voice of reason in these troubled times we as american people need to put aside the political strife i love what you said focus on the platform not the personal rap sheet (although it is important to an extent) and you do a great job of staying neutral. All my family is in Greeneville TN and boy do the arguments over politics get nasty! Thanks again for the words of wisdom I love your channel keep doing what your doing for the community its greatly appreciated
Thank you. Because of your channel and partnership with Buds Gun Shop I was able to find 450 Bushmaster ammo there and I had been looking at numerous places/sites. Unfortunately I lost my 450 Bushmaster in a boating accident later that day.
Makes my heart beat!
Take it easy y’all from Texas ^^
Hello again from East TN.... More Specifically Meigs county. Great talk.
Nothing better than making homework with hickock45 on the background
It was Churchill’s quote you were fishing for - and it was close enough to carry your point.
“People sleep peaceably in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
It seems to have been coined by the great essayist Richard Grenier in 1993 as his synopsis of Orwell’s position.
RICHARD BERTRAM
“We sleep soundly in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm.”
Winston Churchill -
Can’t say for sure who was quoting whom, but WC did use it. Cheers
