To me, this man and his videos are the epitome of being an american that likes guns. We love to collect because they're so many different kinds, we love the engineering and craftsmanship of each model, the history behind them, be it the age or possibly it had a famous previous owner, we love foreign guns that nobody around us have or ever seen, and when it comes down to it, we just love to shoot guns..plain and simple.
You Remember the Old Sayin, "Boys and Their Guns".
That's right, this country will be gun free and a socialist country in your lifetime, trust me. That's the purpose of open borders, herd the sheeple in to fundamentally change America 🇺🇸 forever.

Contacting your politicians is very important. Most of them do listen and try to do what the majority of their constituents ask them to do.
The other very important thing that we MUST do is to VOTE!. It is our best way to voice our opinions.

Here in Canada the politicians tell us they are doing(voting on a Bill) what is best for the Country. Not what there constituents want.
I love my K98. Over the years I know I've put over 5,000 + rd down it's pipe. And it's still on point & tight mechanically it's so smooth for a battle rifle. I miss those days of .04¢ per rd of 8mm. I used to wake up and walk out to my river patio with my coffee & shoot 5 rds every morning for 2 yrs. But if I ever came home and fired 5 rds it was a bad day & my neighbors would know about it.
Honestly, the rambling is most comforting to hear. What you're saying, is what most of rural America is saying but its good to hear. You made my bitter coffee slide down. Thanks.
Amen, every single person on the planet should be in support of “the right to keep and bear arms”. Because, every single person has the right to defend themselves by every possible means. Furthermore, no human has the right to deprive another human of that right. It is that simple.

I totally agree Hickok. We don’t don’t think about our freedoms like we used to and we should never just give them away! I and my family really like you and yours! You have helped me see things and learn things I never thought I would and you folks are wonderful and thank you for everything you do! God bless you and your family. We plan to keep the freedoms the founding fathers gave us and they hoped we would t take them for granted. We love shooting and practicing for hunting. Thank you for you words of wisdom.😊👍
The second amendment does not grant permission for citizens to own firearms, it stops the government from infringing on our right to do so.

Greg, I very rarely make comments on the videos but I did want you to know how much I enjoy the Sunday shoot. I like the views expressed, the way you make people think. For me, Sunday Shoot around is like going to church. I always take home a message. This week was I can have different views and you can do that and express them and that's ok. No one hates me for those positions I take. I don't have any time for haters at all. You know what would be fun is to do a Sunday with Tucker or Sen. Paul or Gutfelt or maybe them all around the gong talking about guns don't kill, people kill. Gun control efforts are stepping up and I think we need more than the NRA has to give. Oh.....sorry, I'm rambling. Keep up the good work. Last thing and I will let you go. I would like to see John do a series on personal defense for seniors because I believe seniors are being targeted be cheesy thugs that see them as an easy mark.. what to carry, when to use, etc. thanks again. My Uncle, pvt./Maj. M.E. Hill US Army Ret. had a 98K from his WWII service from D-Day to VE Day somewhere in Germany. I Still remember handling his collection of souvenirs from the war. The video of your 98K took me back over 60+ years. The 98K I remember was almost a shade of yellow. The slot in the butt stock for a sling and round metal fitting are unforgettable details of that rifle that all came back to me. Thanks for reminding me of a man I held in the highest regard. I enjoy your videos and look forward to many more in the future.

In all my years on this earth, it still amazes me that people will hold an inanimate object responsible for committing violent crimes against society.
It's also backwards thinking. Like ppl who own guns illegally...Will still own guns illegally. Just will stop us from defending ourselves against the one who have them illegally

I have the same problem after teaching for close 25years I catch my self talking to people to long. I enjoy watching you shoot and explain the firearm with sharing your life.

just found your videos a few weeks ago. love the whole laid back feeling. to me if feels like hanging with an older relative like a grandparent or one of the cooler older teachers that would tell life stories instead of lessons half the time, those were usually the teachers we learned from the most so it only makes sense that Hickock said he was a teacher. anyway, just wanted to say I really enjoy the videos I keep them running while I'm working at my shop just passively soaking up knowledge as best I can

A real good talk and I'm in that percentage of people that watch and I mostly hit that like button when I like what I'm seeing but tend not to comment ...I'm gonna make a real effort to change that.

I believe it is everybody's right and responsibility to stay alive if you're a good person to keep the world filled with good people. A silent majority is a population that can be dominated by government that suppression may oppress, suppress or dominate. Godly people enjoy and protect their freedoms.

When I first started watching the Sunday shoot a round. I really appreciated the honesty and integrity without necessarily being apologetic. Wisdom and direct honestly, it can be hard to come by these days in such a sensitive culture.Something is to be said about the old saying,To thine own self be true.

your RIGHT mr hickok, in 1997 I was up at a ranch in california ( im from england ) and was given a revolver which held about 9 bullets in the handle. he put a 5 litre paint tin on top of a 55 galleon barrel, i took aim at the paint tin and missed with first 5 bullets, he stopped me and said ? try for the oil barrell ?? you got it, I MISSED THE FRIGGIN OIL BARREL.
A "revolver" with 9 rnds in the handle, is a "rare piece". Do you still have it? I'll buy it if you do...

As an Immigrant from a Commonwealth Country I have know that the government (Brits in this case) DO NOT WANT you to be Armed in the guise of social pain. I am an AMERICAN and I will stand by my second amendment. Protect my Family, Friends and Fellow Americans. I was very close to a recent administration getting a taste of my pain painters.
