Awesome build bud! Cant wait to see you finish your 14 mustang swap. If you ever get a chance to make a video on how you retro fit the window motor and door latches on the 67 door/body that would be awesome.
Lol that’s a tough one, it’s hard to explain because mostly it’s trial and error about 50 times til you get it right, I’ll be doing the same setup on the 14 swap too so will put more effort into the video.
I've been keeping up with this build. If I owned a Mustang like this, it would have to be blue Just to set me apart from the Eleanor from Gone in 60 seconds
You just amaze me and the quality of your work is so awesome every time, I've just about got all my parts together I still need about $500 more in parts to make it a good solid fastback then I'll have another thousand dollars worth of parts to get but a little bit at a time,
I never thought of just using the floorpan, so basically this is less of a body swap than it is more of updated drivetrain and interior swap? I love that the width is retained, and am very interested to compare this final to your current frame swap in progress. Can't wait for the upcoming videos on that one. You do such great work, thanks for the content.
The reasoning for this body swapping I’m doing now rather than the way it is in this video on my new build is due to strength and safety, the full frame rails are much stronger and safer from the new model rather than mixing up parts to build a car using the floor, it’s a lot of work either way but doing a body swap helps retain strength
@@Must-Stangingarage there needs to be more content creators like my brother and my dad needs to start doing UA-cam but he refuses to be on camera, this car in this video is my dads car, my coyote swap is the one I cut the body from so gotta give credit to dad on this one, he did an amazing job, very talented for sure.
That is just beautiful man! You have really done some amazingly talented work here... you got skills brother! My dream is to do this with a '69 Mustang. Love the work!!
Well first off, it’s ok to start with a v6 because you can easily convert it later to a v8 if you decide to. Now you already have a do or car so that’s not a cost add, it will depend on what you want out of your car, wheels options can go from 500 a set to what’s in this car which cost 3000 a set. If you order the fastback conversion that’s around 6k so then you will need doors and front clip which will run another 6k with hood and body kit, the glass will run around 3k and all the lights front and rear around 1-1500. The interior panels can be modified from your 06 car to fit the new body, then grill, trim, paint add another 2-3k so that f you do it yourself and want it to end up looking like this car it’s going to run you roughly 20-30k but at the end of the day it’s a 6 figure car so no matter what you spend it will give you a great return on investment, but that’s doing it all yourself.
@@1194video thanks for the estimate! It seems like a few years long process to complete realistically for me but for now I just want the fastback whole body kit. I will upgrade the engine wheels and suspension along while I drive it around also because I would like it to be a daily driver
@@skeeters2740 the 1969-70 mustangs are wider so fit the width a bit better of the new mustang but I have a step by step playlist of what you are wanting to do
That Dash brother fits like a glove it's gonna win any car show . You won't see another 67 Mustang like that it's a one of one

I’ve had a few issues getting some parts lately but for the most part I’ve gotten enough parts to build two cars til I need more

Did you get traction and abs workin? Also airbags?

This is phenomenal, would you be interested in building one for me, if yes please let me know how can I reach out to you
Right now I’m behind on getting cars out, otherwise I’d offer, I have a 2013 I’m building that I don’t have sold. You can see it on my channel
How much would something like this cost me? I own a 2006 mustang v6 I want to convert
