    I already did this build but I did it on a foxbody platform , the measurements are 98% spot on and literarily true to a 67 / 68 body .. only thing is you have to extend the wheel base but it literarily works perfect

    • @1194video
      @1194video  11 місяців тому +1

      I would not gain anything by swapping it to the sn95 platform though, i did buy a 95 cobra in thoughts of that but it’s a bit out dated. The last one we did on the 2012 went great so thought I’d do it on a 13 this time which is basically the same car, did you do any videos of your swap, always enjoy seeing others masterpieces

    Seems to me you would cut the 67 body down the center of the roof and weld each side to the 2013 then patch a strip down the middle, but you'll need custom front and rear glass. But it's doable and would preserve the interior.

    • @1194video
      @1194video  10 місяців тому

      I will still be able to utilize the interior just takes modifying the door panels. The easiest way to do it is to just skin the sides but then you have to keep he original roof line so it looks a little weird, my reasoning behind not modifying the original 67 shell is so that in any accident the body panels can be replaced with oe parts

  • @Twistedvideo
    @Twistedvideo Рік тому +2

    If you didn't want to have flares and just wanted to to look stock you could cut the top if the quater panel and step it out and little to make the body wider. Would give the body a more stock look but add a little more work. Just an idea 💡cheers Roman

      @@1194video The Mopars line up pinch weld to pinch weld perfectly side to side but they narrow as you move up to the dash so it is tricky. Chargers are hard tops and flex a lot if you don't reinforce the rockers.

SO I figured I'd also add a comment for algorithmmm purposes. I love what you are doing with this since its essence is make it work where it might appear challenging! I think it's just great to have the video to accompany the application for a register of motor vehicles. That way they can rest assured you have NOT converted the car and it's not possible to be a stolen car. Sometimes the hoop jumping exercises get applied until failure.
