Came for engine cleaning tips, thrilled to see triumph parts! Good video too.
Fantastic video and very excited to see the build 👍👍👍👍👍👍
This is great, will be trying that! Thanks for making this.
Looks great. Nice and spiffy.
I was leery about course wire brushes on Triumph T120 cases but found using a plain welding brush on the cases didn't scratch. Your results may vary
Thanks.. I was wondering about this
Did you ever finish this build? Found the series this morning and would love to see how it turned out! Planning something like this myself soon.
I suggest never using a metal brush (or anything) on gasket surfaces that is harder than the casing metal itself (which tends to be pretty soft). You are introducing micro scratches and if too aggressive, heavier scratches or even gouges that will cause more headaches later.
Agreed. Just used a brass wire brush attachment on my die grinder. Tested it out on the bottom of the case. Definitely leaving scratches behind.
La awesome good stuff
Thank You, I tried this and noticed that after letting it sit for a few minutes the grease came off with not a lot of work.
I sprayed down my firewall and then I sprayed with water, without scrubbing, and it cleared about 80% on its own.
ok great so far seen 4 please tell me there is more ?????

Hi, what’s happening with the build?
Did you ever finish this thing?
Water honing da best!
You should cut the dunlop volley in half. They're an Australian icon.
I would not paint it but if you do, please do a video on it.
thank you bro and take safety precaution must wear a glove hand .hi hi hi
ha ha na
I watched the video without sound or subtitles
I have no idea how he did it
Some kind of mystery magic cleaner
Been waiting for the next episope for months...
Please tell me your still building the triumph
Check out my Instagram. I am doing updates on the stories
I just spray aluminum cases with phosphoric acid looks like brand new. No scrubbing needed.
Where do you get that from? I'm getting ready to finish building my 4.7l stroker for my xj and the old engine is filthy
@@autotek7930Amazon sells it
He's kidding. It will ruin your metals.
@@autotek7930 It is one of the ingredients in mag cleaner. Most chemical supply places have it.
Those engine cases look beautiful, why paint them? If you want a better finish why not go for 1500 grit paper wet sanding then polish them. Personally, I would stop where you are, leave a clean classic patina look, whatever you do from now will either devalue the future value of the bike, or make it hard to bring back to original without stripping the engine.
Basically what I'm saying is, it's perfect the way it is.
If it were a pre- unit i would keep them nice and shiny
Use petrol & brush
Dish washer ... hi heat . better result
Why
White spirit
Wish I knew what store/stores carry this 😒
It’s literally the dollar stores brand they sell
$1.00??
>>> LA's Totally Awesome - Awesome Oxygen Orange All Purpose Cleaner & Degreaser, 32 Fl. Oz. >>> $22.43
Just picked up two jugs from the Dollar Tree for $1.25 each, definitely not $22.. for the other folks out there. (Usa)
never use brass wire on alloy. period! The brass is then transfer into the alloy!..not good when cleaning.i like the orange degease but i would use a steel wire with the dremel to get good results.
Dont paint it!
