- Pancit Bihon is one of the famous Filipino noodle dish. Sharing the easiest one pan Shrimp Pancit Bihon Guisado. So quick and easy to make. Easy recipe to satisfy your cravings! Happy Pinoy Simple Cooking!
Here is how to cook Filipino SHRIMP PANCIT BIHON :
SHRIMP PANCIT BIHON GUISADO :
Ingredients:
1 lb shrimp, cleaned, shelled and deveined
1/4 tsp sal
1/4 tsp pepper
For sauté:
1 large onion, chopped
7 cloves garlic, minced
2 large carrots , julienned
1 cup greean beans, julienned
1 small cabbge, chopped
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tbsp oyster sauce
For the noodles:
1 lb Vermicelli rice noodles
4 cups beef broth
3 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp pepper
Directions:
1. In a wok or pan, heat oil over medium high heat
2. Add shrimp, cook eachs side for 2 mins. Season with salt and pepper Remove from the pan. Set aside
3. On the same pan, put oil.
4. Add onion and garlic. Cook until fragrant.
5. Add carrots. Cook for 2 mins..
6. Add green beans, salt and pepper. Cook for 30 seconds
7. Add cabbage.
8. Add oyster sauce. Cook vegetables until tender crisp. Remove from pan. Set aside.
For the noodles:
9. On the same pan, put 4 cups beef broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar and pepper. Mix until sugar dissolves.
10. Bring to boil for 5 mins.
11. Add vermicelli noodles. Let it simmer while stirring until liquid is completely absorbed.
12. Turn off the heat. Add back the vegetables and shrimp. Mix together.
13. Serve and Enjoy!

I don’t use MSG, so I can’t use oyster sauce. I know anything with msg tastes good, but health wise, I’d rather not use it. Thanks for the recipe.
You can use organic or kikkoman oyster sauce which does not contain msg but yes you do you. You can change the recipe based on your preferences. 😊
Can you use shrimp broth instead?
Yes definitely I use beef broth because it is more flavorful
