i have to comment to tell that this is my ist time cooking pancit bihon na perfect. i can cook spaghetti or any other meryenda , but i have a hard time with bihon.minsan dry, minsan maalat dahil sa patis, minsan kumpol kumpol at nagdidikit, minsan overcook. may isang bihon ako na mag eexpire na at nagkataong magluluto ako ng tinola then naisip kong lutuin ang bihon dahil sayang kung itatapon. napakasimple na sundan at yung gulay literal na 2 lang kaya hindi mabusisi ..ayun perfect pancit bihon guisado na nagustuhan ng mama at hubby ko. thank you sir for this recipe
I love it with a shrimp, sliced thinly chorizo Macau ( to add flavors ) and finely chopped kinchay....Savor with ground pepper and calamansi and...Voila! Soooo delicious 😋

I tried this recipe and it's delicious! Thank you! There is a hint of sweetness to it, maybe it is because of the oyster sauce. My Mom used to cooked bihon when I was little but she didn't add oyster sauce in it. But it also tasted good, just as good as this one. I was actually looking for particular bihon recipe - the one that has a lot more meaty taste on it. If I use pork, would that make a difference on the flavour?

But I can't finish it all so I set aside some of the broth and freeze it. The next time I am in the mood of eating bihon, I don't need to go through the hassle of making the broth, all I need to do is to cook the vegetable and the bihon. Saves me time, haha.

Hello. I don't want to buy a while bottle of oyster sauce for this dish as I don't cook this cuisine much. What to I add when I omit the oyster sauce? What did your mother add?
@@AsiyaShaikh15729 i think she just added an extra amount of garlic, onion, and a little bit more soy sauce. You have to be careful adding soy sauce though because if you add too much, it can ruin your food.
for me, the main difference is.. straining the meat makes it easier to mix the noodles into the broth.. making it easier to cook the noodles more evenly.. but.. they both taste yummy.. 😉😊

I tried this recipe and it's delicious! Thank you! There is a hint of sweetness to it, maybe it is because of the oyster sauce. My Mom used to cooked bihon when I was little but she didn't add oyster sauce in it. But it also tasted good, just as good as this one. I was actually looking for particular bihon recipe - the one that has a lot more meaty taste on it. If I use pork, would that make a difference on the flavour?

By the way, the broth of your recipe is very tasty. But I can't finish it all so I set aside some of the broth and freeze it. The next time I am in the mood of eating bihon, I don't need to go through the hassle of making the broth, all I need to do is to cook the vegetable and the bihon. Saves me time, haha.

Thank God naman, by His grace, I'm mastering it na, cos family fave po ang pancit, maging bihon, canton o sotanghon!

Hello. I don't want to buy a while bottle of oyster sauce for this dish as I don't cook this cuisine much. What to I add when I omit the oyster sauce? What did your mother add?
@@AsiyaShaikh15729 i think she just added an extra amount of garlic, onion, and a little bit more soy sauce. You have to be careful adding soy sauce though because if you add too much, it can ruin your food.

Hi, I noticed in your other pancit bihon recipe you didn’t strain the meat. Does it matter if you do or don’t? Love your recipes, they’re so good!
for me, the main difference is.. straining the meat makes it easier to mix the noodles into the broth.. making it easier to cook the noodles more evenly.. but.. they both taste yummy.. 😉😊
