    Friend, I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for this video. I came into the bedroom upset that the sink faucet had no pressure while just a few minutes ago it had a strong one. I had prayed and asked our Heavenly FATHER to help me get this fixed without a lot of problems. When I sat down at the computer and typed in low pressure at the sink or something to that affect GOD led me to your video. I give GOD and JESUS CHRIST the praise and I give you a big thanks as well. I have replaced leaking rubber gaskets many times but this was a first and if it happens again I will know what to do. I did what you said except for pushing air and vinegar down the tubes and decided to take everything off and found the end piece on the faucet was clogged up with a bunch of stuff, so I placed them in a bucket with vinegar and soda powder for awhile. Thanks again and may Almighty GOD bless you and your family and all who read this and their families every day and night and may GOD's love keep that Coronavirus away from your homes and family and friends. FATHER I ask this in the Name Of YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST, our LORD, SAVIOR and KING! Amen!

    Got a better idea just tried it and it worked perfectly. Turn off the water main, drain the system of any water ABOVE the faucet ie upstairs so no more water comes out the effected faucet, get some clr or good calcium and lime remover and put it in a glass under the faucet and in the liquid, turn the tap on below the faucet ie downstairs. This will cause a suction effect suckling it back up into the faucet. Suck up only 50-100ml and shut the downstairs tap off. Let it sit like that, if you need to use water you can shut off just that tap. Either way let it sit for a few hours or overnight is better. Turn it back on and try it out! I might just make my own video on it later

    vinegar is a mild acid and baking soda neutralizes acid so basically you are doing nothing but adding baking soda 😑

    • @rxramon
      @rxramon  Рік тому +1

      Cleaning vinegar is stronger than the average and the baking soda isn't neutralizing it instantly. If you add it soon after mixing, you're expanding the reach of the vinegar.

    You think I can shoot draino in my faucet? I've lived here for about 1.5 years. Water pressure was fine at move in. About a year in, the kitchen faucet has no pressure. The sprayer does, though. I've replaced the "aerator?". Maybe I should take a supply line off. I'll look through my tool kit to see if I have tools to do that and the lines get confusing after a little whiskey.

    • @rxramon
      @rxramon  5 років тому

      Don't try Drano because it's going directly where your drinking water is coming from. I used non-toxic substances for that reason.

    Please check out the chemistry of the baking soda and vinegar mixture because that fizz can be the acid reacting with the base to liberate carbon dioxide gas thus losing the effect of either substance. May be use the one substance without mixing them is correct so as to get better effect .
    However if by chance your mixture had an excess of one substance , either vinegar or baking soda, you would get the effect not of the mixture but of the single excess substance left over after the acid reacts with the base.
    Kindly check out , advise me or confirm. Thanks for reading.

    • @rxramon
      @rxramon  6 років тому

      Dennis Dookhan: I thought about that afterward. The baking soda is basic and the vinegar is acidic, so yes they would neutralize each other over time. I'd say the foam expands the reach effectively if used quickly. Some of the curves are harder to get to if you use vinegar alone.

    Hello RxRamon. Thank you for the upload. I need to do this tonight with my sink in the kitchen faucet due to very low pressure. Checked everything from disconnecting the lines which indicated nothing. I turned on the valve after disconnecting the line and pressure was normal for both hot and cold to test before installing the lines back together to see if there were rocks, sand and etc.
    I will do the baking soda mixed with vinegar. My question is do you cut off the valve all the way off to insert the tube in the faucet while inserting vinegar with baking soda with a bulb syringe? Sink started acting up this past Saturday. Sounds like that you have to cut off the valves completely in order for the process to work. Hope to hear a response from you or anyone reading the comments.

    • @rxramon
      @rxramon  2 роки тому +1

      I think the most important thing is not to turn on the faucet for a few hours or overnight. Turning off the valve is probably a good idea but I don't think you have to.

  • @dannyh9010

    Seems like if you took the sprayer head off the hose, you could force the vinegar solution through the faucet and out the sprayer hose.

    • @rxramon
      @rxramon  6 років тому

      DannyH The opening is too wide from the faucet end to get enough pressure with a normal bulb.

      If you are rich and have money to throw away. I called he wanted $80 just to come out and put another faucet and the next day I had the same problem then he told me it was my water heater I need a new one same problem after I purchased a 600$ water heater water pressure now low on both side, he suggested I replace the lines under my house, told my neighbor about how much money that was going to cost, she came over with her air tank and pretty much did kind of what this guy was doing but she did disconnect the lines and she charged me a glass of wine, and she was no plummer but I did recommend to the Plummer to hire her when he called me to set that date to replaced the lines under my house.
