He is owned by the machine. $$$$ is all he knows. Seems like a decent guy. Although either living his life with blinders on or corrupt as fuc. And this from a guy who enjoys his show.
I appreciate David's insights on various topics, although he appears to have limitations in NFL, NBA, and College Football discussions. I tend to skip those segments on his podcast. However, it's valuable to have someone like Pablo who can provide a balanced perspective and simplify things for David in a calm manner. If David acknowledged his areas of limited knowledge or ignorance with humility, it would enhance the show, allowing viewers to learn alongside him.
All that's missing when Skipper talks is, "Boy, I say looky here boy"...He sounds like Foghorn Leghorn...😃🤣😭
It's very polite of Skipper to let Samson flail around, but it resembles a bored puma and a kitten.

If David could actually see things from a different point of view, he'd understand so much more of the world than he does.
You can say that about almost anyone
He understands the world of corporate finance. Very few people have made money being empathetic.

Let’s not forget that most of the schools in the major conferences are state schools, not private entities.

The point is that the companies are only sharing their content with each other, not that they have exclusive rights. It's price fixing, cartel behavior.

David Samson is out of his league. He knows very little about college football yet is trying to act like he has the answers. Typical elite attitude.
I enjoy listening to him to remind myself the rich and stupid are rich and stupid
David has a valuable perspective and while yes his expertise is in the business of baseball and not exactly every sport but there is enough common ground to make his pov worth listening to.

Skipper sounds like a such a detached executive when he says that any College Football fan would rather see their team just play in a Super League than play against teams with whom they have historic matchups and rivalries. Thats the whole point of College Football, the fandom and rivalries. Thats why the Super League in Europe failed.
