David has been doing a great job sitting in for Rich Eisen. I usually see him as a reliable disappointment but I have to hand it to him, he is good in this format.
One of my favorite shows yet. No matter how old and wise Samson gets he'll always sound like the young buck trying to impress John with his wisdom. Once in a while he'll hit on a good point and get an acknowledgement and it makes his day.
The Shareholder Vote wasn't even close, and of course Peltz tried to spin it as a 'win'. His comments in that FT interview re black ppl & women in movies were truly awful!
Absolutely hilarious how the term "corporate raiders" has been changed into "activist shareholders" to make it sound less grotesque. Throwing portions of companies & people's livelihoods into the wood chipper for short-term gain for a few already ridiculously wealthy jerks deserves to sound as disgusting as it truly is

Now that Pablo Torre's ties to Hunterbrook are all but confirmed, this show and all shows on Meadowlark Media will have to be scrutinized to see if they're peddling stories designed to help his and colleagues' short positions in the stock market.

Torre wants to call it journalism, but in fact, it is just market research posing as such. The parent company is prohibited from doing real journalism per SEC regulations, since it would amount to insider trading.
