Despite, Xbox series X being a good Console Xbox still sucks in 2023 due to having bad exclusive games that are mediocre and sometimes even straight trash 
Great excellent video man 👍 keep making great excellent videos man 👍 I've had an Xbox series s since March 12, 2021 and I was excited to play the new exclusive games but very quickly noticed that on gamepass they offered a bunch of shovelware. I remember the og Xbox and Xbox 360 because I had those as well. I even had an Xbox one for about a day before getting my money back and getting a PS4. After 2 years of Xbox series s and waiting for great games to come I'm done waiting and I'm done paying for gamepass ultimate it just not worth paying for anymore. Now that the PS 5 is now available I'm going sell or trade in my Xbox series s and will buy a PS 5. If the games don't run at 60-120 frames per second then I will just get gaming PC and call it a day. I missed out on so many great games because at the time the PS5 wasn't available anywhere in my area in 2021 and if it was you had to pay way too much for it and I was not going to pay 1000 dollars for something that's only 500 dollars so I got the Xbox series s and hopes for the best. I wanted Xbox series s/x to bring the games but both gofw5 sucked and halo infinite sucked so much to the point I just stop playing those games altogether they just suck that bad. I'm not into the whole console war thing either because I think it's stupid. The only game I really enjoy on my Xbox series s is GTA 5 that's it if I'm being honest because there just not bringing in the heavy hitting games like they once did back in the day. All I want is a game console with great exclusive games and great third party games as well. I had a Nintendo switch but finally sold it. So I'm going back to playstation and getting the PS5 and see what they have to offer.
About time you Meade the best decision. As of today don't have many doe to the shortage of consoles they weren't going to release ps5 games without ps5. But demon souls, gow ragna Rock, horizon forbidden west and soon spiderman all eye candy graphics next Gen graphics
The Xbox brand fell off during the middle/end of the 360 era. While Xbox started off strong, the introduction of Kinect, lack of 1st party titles, and heavy reliance on COD was ultimately their undoing. The PS3 was able to course correct and beat xbox due to their innovation of creative 1st party titles. I was 11 when the 360 released, and 19 when the PS4 released, I literally saw the shift in Xbox’s mindset and strategy in real time. Sony has always had the better in house teams and overall greater insight pertaining to cultivating talent.
Most people think videos like this are made by console fanboys trashing on the other, but most of the time they are actually made by genuine fans who are tired of waiting for improvements and better quality. The Xbox360 was Microsoft's greatest and possibly it's last true gaming console and the PlayStation's greatest rival and competitor. It focused on making/getting games not trying to sell services i.e. Game Pass + Exclusives thrived on it. + Third party games king + Arcade games + Indie games + casual games (via Kinect) + Japanese games (historically big Playstation exclusives made their way on to it) + HUGE game attach ratio Games and Great games sold that very popular console with a life time sales of 80 million, fairly equal to the Playstation 3, despite the red rings and Microsoft prematurely discontinuing it. Then Microsoft launched the XboxOne and clearly wanted to go the direction of corporate servers, media streaming and services. Phil Spencer "We lost a generation on the XboxOne" Microsoft keeps focusing, prioritizing and trying to sell services, you're going to lose what's left on the Xbox Series S/X as well. I loved the O.G. Xbox and Xbox360, but not what Microsoft are doing with the TrashBoxOne and TrashBox Series S/X. They were/are garbage. Xbox Fanboys need to focus and keep their anger at Microsoft. Phil Spencer is just following Microsoft's mandate, just like Don Matrick did with XboxOne before he departed or was let go.
Thing that most people don't realize is that the 360's success was due more to Sony's PS3 failures than what Microsoft did right. The PS3 launching a year later and at $500/$600 were big reasons. Not to mention the difficulty developers had with the PS3. If not for those three key factors, I can say with almost certainty that the PS3 would have dominated that generation as well. I mean, the year the 360 was the only next gen console, it was outsold by the PS2. That's because most still weren't interested in Xbox. When the PS3 finally launched at the price points it did, peoples hands were then forced toward the cheaper 360. Once the PS3 slim released, that's when PS3 began dominating the market again and eventually outsold the 360. The 360 was a success in the US, but PS3 won about every other territory. FYI, services are Microsoft's bread/butter and a service like Game Pass is Microsoft's play for life after consoles, which they'll be much better prepared for than Sony.
No matter what happens, free Backwards Compatibility will always make the Xbox the definitive console experience in my eyes. That and I don’t really care about Spider-Man anymore so the second game doesn’t really interest me.
I'm a Sony Fanboy and reason why im a sony fanboy is because the PlayStation brand has been consistent literally every generation. The Only Xbox console that actually was good was the Xbox360, i own a Xbox360. I own the original Xbox as well, don't like that one, dont care for Halo or Gears. The issue with the original Xbox was that the multiplats were usually inferior to their PlayStation counterpart, despite the console being more powerful than the PlayStation 2. Medal Of Honor Frontline is horrible on the original xbox, for some strange reason, they made that version more darker in tone, you cant see anything in that version.

Finally someone with some common sense! Every time i discuss this topic with some coworkers they always have the most shit arguments for why they think Xbox is better. They never have any objective reasons. It just sucks that every time i buy an Xbox it always ends up being a waste of my fucking money because of the lack of games outside of playing Halo Infinite/MCC. Xbox doesnt innovate shit whereas playstation consistently does. Whats even more ridiculous is that you dont even need to buy the series x when its hardly an upgrade from the previous console.
What I don't like about Gamepass is we are paying for a perk we aren't really getting that much. First party day in date releases hasn't really been amazing since Gamepass came out.
They barely even make games to begin with. There wasn’t in one game last year and this year there’s redfall (one of the worst games ever created.) and Hi-Fi Rush (A tiny mediocre game that takes 10 hours to complete.)
I feel bad for Obsidian. When microsoft bought them and they showed Avowed I actually put $600 away for an Xbox series X. I love the Pillars of Eternity games and having a 3d first person game set in Eora really had me hype. Sadly that will probay never happen, they announced Avowed in july of 2021 and since the all we've heard is they scraped everything they had and had to start all over. Then we have The Outer Worlds, the first game was good and showed plenty of promise. The story was amazing but the gameplay was kind of lacking. The sequel was announced but who knows when that will see the light of day. Its just so disappointing i hope it turn around but i seriously doubt it.
I got a Xbox Series X, but in my closet collecting dust. I was never raised off Xbox, I was mostly a Nintendo and Sony kid. I got my first Xbox in 2022 and I love it because of backwards compatibility something Sony lacked, also the upgrading the old games too. Xbox cares about services, a bait and capture to keep you coming back.
Matt Booty (the person overseeing and quality checking Xbox exclusive games) said last year that they’ll no longer make good games (google: Xbox Studios boss says the days of single-studio AAA games are ‘long gone). Phil Spencer also said the same thing in an interview last month. If you want good games, get a PS5. That’s what I did and I haven’t regretted it. 😅
What could make xbox great is they need to get rid of the Enforcement team and stop banning gamers and let us play Games. Edit: Gonna have to stop you right their Xbox is not Consumer friendly because of the Enforcement team. Getting banned for BS reasons is not Consumer Friendly!
No point in owning an Xbox when pc has every Xbox games including some ps games which were once exclusives if anything it would be best if Microsoft didn't put so much resources into buying companies before they could actually make games
Xbox 360 had great online, graphics, and great exclusive games. Microsoft really shot themselves in the foot with the One. Nobody cared about tv and on top of that they wanted to push the "always online" bullshit and tried to get away with not allowing people to share games. It sucks but they did it to themselves.

The One X had Hellblade, Dishonored 2, Crackdown 3, Halo 5, Control, Quantum Break, Plague Tale Innocence that all performed well and looked beautiful. Series X has had many flops that all perform under 30fps including Redfall and Starfield. 😂 PS5 has had 7 First Party Exclusives that run native 4K at 60fps. Destiny 2 is the ONLY GAME that runs at native 4K 60-120fps. The Series X should have 8K 60fps Games and 4K 120fps Games since it can supposedly handle that....
Yup, with the legendary Starfield leading in sales for the month of sept and # 6 in yearly sales beating 2k, fiffa, Madden, ff16 etc. The Remakestation doesn't even have a leader. Damn right I’m frustrated I’ve been a fan of Xbox since I was a kid so it’s painful to see just how far they have fallen and the thing that pisses me off the most is the potential that they have to be better if they had good exclusives, as well as the benefits of gamepass, they will be doing a lot better in terms of both competition and quality for Xbox players but as you could see there still trying to buy a dying franchise like cod. I had twelve 360s(red ring) still loved it. 1 xbox 1 which I still have and adore. The series x is the bane of my existence...overheating, wifi not connecting even with the cable, games crashing 30 minutes in. Exclusives are horrid. I traded in my ps5 just to play starfield cause im a Bethesda fanboy or I was until I played it. Giant dumpster fire of a game. I will never buy another xbox ever again.

Exclusives are why i traded my series x for the PS5. I was an xbox guy until 2021, my love for gaming was dying until i got to PS. The only good thing about xbox is backward compatibility.
Phil Spencer should have to watch this. As a PlayStation guy it's not even funny some times they should be doing better by my gaming brothers. Yeah we like sending shots at each other but it feels dirty when the other sides feeding you ammo. I miss when you had to go game for game on a debate which ones better Uncharted or Halo, Gears or Infamous. It got away from that and it's about everything else now and I really believe it's because Xbox stopped trying.
At least the 8th generation of gaming had for Xbox One was Dead Rising 3, Sunset Overdrive, Fallout 4 and to a lesser degree Fallout 76, The Outer Worlds and Titanfall. This generation of gaming……. Two things: jack and shit for the Series X.

Ive been an Xbox fan since Original Xbox when i was 12. Yeah, how I'll state it, it was consoles were a fun little distraction.from my Halo 1 PC, Counter Strike, Battlefield 2, and UT2004 pc dailies. I remember Ps2 online (A hint at how old I am, I remember playing Doom, Wolfenstein, and Quake when they first came out) and THE OG Battle front 2 (which was THE WILDEST console online experience I ever had) and Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow. Then in 2012, events in my personal life caused my computer to be destroyed and its been a good 11 years since I've had a worthy rig. So I had to get more into Halo Reach, CoD Ps3 online (2017), and the CoD series in general. I've noticed the game pass stuff and.whole concept in general I'm not for. You have to buy all this extra shit and its not even backwards compatible. When I get a PC back its MMO RPG time! I just really miss my old.computer.

On PlayStation i can buy a game with my phone number or just scanning a qr and pay it. I mostly play dayz on PlayStation and waiting for 7 days to die.
I find PS+ Premium a whole lot better than GamePass; It has an S load more games for starters, and all the great PlayStation exclusives. GamePass is mostly third party stuff that is also on PS+.
Xbox and playstation has disabled optic drive through their updates to further push digital game sales. Make a video on that, please. For some reason both consoles no longer will run disks and it's an issue that no UA-camr seem to have the balls to address. I've seen numerous videos of gamers with old and current gen consoles experiencing the same phenomenon. The consoles attempt to run the disks but gamers are met with the console not recognizing any disk(playstation) or, being asked if they own the disk(xbox) or to check the disk as it might be dirty(xbox). I feel this is a new form of highway robbery of physical disk owners as many have libraries physical disk games. It would make sense to at least provide the option to download the digital copy of your physical game. With this weird new push, your only option is to repurchase a game you already own. My xbox transitioned into this state gradually after an update and when I switched over to playstation, again after an update, the same issue arose. Both consoles just wont allow the optical drive to function correctly. It attempts to but fails. Only the digitally downloaded games will run. And I find it odd that no content creators have addressed this new phenomenon. There are people with brand new Ps5's and series X consoles malfunctioning in this manner. If there was a digital only switch event to take place, it should have been made public by Sony and Microsoft. I cant imagine spending 500$ on a brand new console just to have my entire physical library rendered obsolete then having to repurchase all my favorite games digitally. The physical disk should unlock or also be bonded to a digital copy. It just seems like a disgustingly greedy attempt to siphon money from gamers and needs to be addressed by someone. Can anyone else see it??

I have both ps5 and series x in 7 gen only had ps3 I was die hard ps3 fan was my favourite console of 7 gen I had ps4 since 2014 when it comes to which consul, I like better out on a spectrum throughout the PS4 first few years i was on ps4 got my Xbox one in 2019 and before I did got it in the years to 16 1718 so he was making some decisions that I really didn’t agree with at the end of the PS4 Xbox one I was in the middle independent still am today since I have both but lean more Xbox but I can admit Xbox is not doing so well
I feel the opposite I sold my ps5 after the exclusives and got a xbox not gonna lie it exposed me to alot of game the I never would of played and not pay 70$ for a game when money is tight... also I like more multiplayer games so it might be a reason also

The future quality of gaming is through indi games and small game studios. Only Those two groups are reinventing the gaming wheel. Just look at that new body cam shooter game, that's a shooter that deviates from the COD formula. Look at ready or not, major developers like EA, Microsoft, Activision have become absolutely soulless in their game development.
I consider the Xbox 360 and the PS2 to be the 2 best consoles of all time. I have a ps5, and I absolutely love it. It's so close to being a three-way tie for me. But I think the ps5 just needs a little bit more before it can finally break that barrier and join the other 2. Now, as a person who absolutely loved the Xbox 360 (as mentioned earlier) and enjoyed all the hours spent with friends on Halo 3, fable 2, gears, etc. I am heartbroken to see the current state of xbox. This once great shining beacon of my life now reduced to a mere shadow of itself. And it really sucks!
One of the reasons I chose an Xbox 360 when I was a kid was because of gears of war it was my first ever action shooter and ever since then I have been a fan of both that series and Xbox that same series is now being ruined by the coalition and Microsoft doesn’t care. Gears of war, 4 and 5 were terrible. And I guess you could say the same for halo. It’s a damn shame indeed
7:32 well we already know the real talent from 343 migrated to Bungie to make Destiny 2. Destiny 2 literally ran at Native 4K60fps on the Google Stadia. Bethesda should do some consulting with Bungie to be taught how to optimize a game.

so funny i cancelled my game pass ultimate and gold after 10 years and got a pc recently. holy **** i was an idiot for waiting this long to switch to p.c. there are numerous reasons why p.c. is king, not to mention computers will exist infinitely after consoles die off as they ALWAYS do. the reason why i switched mainly because every game they release now is a 5 minute easy game that looks like it was made in the 1990s for a gameboy. the prices are ridiculous and the last 20+ gamepass games all suck. games with gold has been trash for years straight. When was the last time a gem came out??

Microsoft has been pushing for Always Online and cloud gaming since early xbox one. Remember the Xbox One reveal? Remember the backlash it got for being an always online DRM, which they literally had to reverse asap because they knew if they didn't, the Xbox brand was gonna be finished? Phil Spencer kinda saved the Xbox Brand, because at that point, he came in and fixed that disaster.
The only thing they've done to convince me is by taking the best developers out there, whom which are my favourites. It's frustrating because I've always been a Sony fan, because it made me feel home when my dad wasn't around. It always felt complete. And never in my childhood was gifted anything of playstation. My parents would always say "no". So I asked for a 360 - at least it was something. I honestly never was happy with Xbox. There was always and has been something off/wrong that tells me that they don't put their all into it, hence care about their users. Now im old enough to have bought a ps4, then a 3 and last year a 5, i hear that Xbox wants to take ALL of my favourite games for themselves. Threatening to make every future game as an exclusive. This company im certain is mendacious. At least make their systems more appealing, secure and fun, instead of buying the entire worldwide gaming industry for their selfish deeds. 🙄
My favorite Xbox was the 360 after that they just flopped the only reason I own an Xbox One s is because gamepass but even I can say most of their games on there kind of suck but it's only $15

Although Xbox is a good console it is absolute garbage when it comes to good exclusive games I’m going to call it right now redfall and Starfield are probably going to suck people might have a little bit of faith in Starfield since it was delayed but halo infinite was also delayed and it still ended up being a massive piece of garbage just like dying light 2 here’s hoping Microsoft and Xbox game studios will improve in the future they still have time but tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if they continue to suck because of game pass

Phil has now launched 2 consecutive "Worlds most powerful console" ( Scorpio and Series X) with no games that push the hardware. Fully agree on the topic. Microsoft has so much money, and they still cant get close to what sony does with exclusives. Is it really that hard? all they have going for them is gamepass, which clearly is quantity over quality. Instead they just buy a big Studio like Bethesda to force those games who were always multi plattform to be exclusive. I prefer to have a quality game like God of War or The last of Us every few month then this fast food gaming aproach of Microsoft. The only good thing i found on the xbox series x was the • 4k quality • Remote play • nothing else ❌If i wanted to record my gameplay for longer than 3 minutes, i needed to buy an external hard drive. ✅Playstation lets you record for 1 hours without buying anything else. ❌on xbox if i wanted to record my friends voices while playing i needed to buy a game capture card, but doesn’t mean i can record my voice as well. ✅Playstation lets you record your friends & all voices, including yours without having to buy anything else. • We all know playstation gets better exclusive games. So don’t waste time & money on xbox!

Great excellent video man 👍 keep making great excellent videos man 👍 I've had an Xbox series s since March 12, 2021 and I was excited to play the new exclusive games but very quickly noticed that on gamepass they offered a bunch of shovelware. I remember the og Xbox and Xbox 360 because I had those as well. I even had an Xbox one for about a day before getting my money back and getting a PS4. After 2 years of Xbox series s and waiting for great games to come I'm done waiting and I'm done paying for gamepass ultimate it just not worth paying for anymore. Now that the PS 5 is now available I'm going sell or trade in my Xbox series s and will buy a PS 5. If the games don't run at 60-120 frames per second then I will just get gaming PC and call it a day. I missed out on so many great games because at the time the PS5 wasn't available anywhere in my area in 2021 and if it was you had to pay way too much for it and I was not going to pay 1000 dollars for something that's only 500 dollars so I got the Xbox series s and hopes for the best. I wanted Xbox series s/x to bring the games but both gofw5 sucked and halo infinite sucked so much to the point I just stop playing those games altogether they just suck that bad. I'm not into the whole console war thing either because I think it's stupid. The only game I really enjoy on my Xbox series s is GTA 5 that's it if I'm being honest because there just not bringing in the heavy hitting games like they once did back in the day. All I want is a game console with great exclusive games and great third party games as well. I had a Nintendo switch but finally sold it. So I'm going back to playstation and getting the PS5 and see what they have to offer.

The Xbox brand fell off during the middle/end of the 360 era. While Xbox started off strong, the introduction of Kinect, lack of 1st party titles, and heavy reliance on COD was ultimately their undoing. The PS3 was able to course correct and beat xbox due to their innovation of creative 1st party titles. I was 11 when the 360 released, and 19 when the PS4 released, I literally saw the shift in Xbox’s mindset and strategy in real time. Sony has always had the better in house teams and overall greater insight pertaining to cultivating talent.

Thing that most people don't realize is that the 360's success was due more to Sony's PS3 failures than what Microsoft did right. The PS3 launching a year later and at $500/$600 were big reasons. Not to mention the difficulty developers had with the PS3. If not for those three key factors, I can say with almost certainty that the PS3 would have dominated that generation as well. I mean, the year the 360 was the only next gen console, it was outsold by the PS2. That's because most still weren't interested in Xbox. When the PS3 finally launched at the price points it did, peoples hands were then forced toward the cheaper 360. Once the PS3 slim released, that's when PS3 began dominating the market again and eventually outsold the 360. The 360 was a success in the US, but PS3 won about every other territory.
FYI, services are Microsoft's bread/butter and a service like Game Pass is Microsoft's play for life after consoles, which they'll be much better prepared for than Sony.
No matter what happens, free Backwards Compatibility will always make the Xbox the definitive console experience in my eyes. That and I don’t really care about Spider-Man anymore so the second game doesn’t really interest me.
I'm a Sony Fanboy and reason why im a sony fanboy is because the PlayStation brand has been consistent literally every generation. The Only Xbox console that actually was good was the Xbox360, i own a Xbox360. I own the original Xbox as well, don't like that one, dont care for Halo or Gears. The issue with the original Xbox was that the multiplats were usually inferior to their PlayStation counterpart, despite the console being more powerful than the PlayStation 2. Medal Of Honor Frontline is horrible on the original xbox, for some strange reason, they made that version more darker in tone, you cant see anything in that version.

What I don't like about Gamepass is we are paying for a perk we aren't really getting that much. First party day in date releases hasn't really been amazing since Gamepass came out.
They barely even make games to begin with. There wasn’t in one game last year and this year there’s redfall (one of the worst games ever created.) and Hi-Fi Rush (A tiny mediocre game that takes 10 hours to complete.)
I feel bad for Obsidian. When microsoft bought them and they showed Avowed I actually put $600 away for an Xbox series X. I love the Pillars of Eternity games and having a 3d first person game set in Eora really had me hype. Sadly that will probay never happen, they announced Avowed in july of 2021 and since the all we've heard is they scraped everything they had and had to start all over. Then we have The Outer Worlds, the first game was good and showed plenty of promise. The story was amazing but the gameplay was kind of lacking. The sequel was announced but who knows when that will see the light of day. Its just so disappointing i hope it turn around but i seriously doubt it.

I got a Xbox Series X, but in my closet collecting dust. I was never raised off Xbox, I was mostly a Nintendo and Sony kid. I got my first Xbox in 2022 and I love it because of backwards compatibility something Sony lacked, also the upgrading the old games too. Xbox cares about services, a bait and capture to keep you coming back.
Matt Booty (the person overseeing and quality checking Xbox exclusive games) said last year that they’ll no longer make good games (google: Xbox Studios boss says the days of single-studio AAA games are ‘long gone). Phil Spencer also said the same thing in an interview last month. If you want good games, get a PS5. That’s what I did and I haven’t regretted it. 😅

Xbox 360 had great online, graphics, and great exclusive games. Microsoft really shot themselves in the foot with the One. Nobody cared about tv and on top of that they wanted to push the "always online" bullshit and tried to get away with not allowing people to share games. It sucks but they did it to themselves.
Good old 360 days were beast mw2, halo 3 and street fighter IV were my life was at.

The One X had Hellblade, Dishonored 2, Crackdown 3, Halo 5, Control, Quantum Break, Plague Tale Innocence that all performed well and looked beautiful.
Series X has had many flops that all perform under 30fps including Redfall and Starfield. 😂 PS5 has had 7 First Party Exclusives that run native 4K at 60fps.
Destiny 2 is the ONLY GAME that runs at native 4K 60-120fps.
The Series X should have 8K 60fps Games and 4K 120fps Games since it can supposedly handle that....

I had twelve 360s(red ring) still loved it. 1 xbox 1 which I still have and adore. The series x is the bane of my existence...overheating, wifi not connecting even with the cable, games crashing 30 minutes in. Exclusives are horrid. Exclusives are why i traded my series x for the PS5. I was an xbox guy until 2021, my love for gaming was dying until i got to PS. The only good thing about xbox is backward compatibility.

Ive been an Xbox fan since Original Xbox when i was 12. Yeah, how I'll state it, it was consoles were a fun little distraction.from my Halo 1 PC, Counter Strike, Battlefield 2, and UT2004 pc dailies. I remember Ps2 online (A hint at how old I am, I remember playing Doom, Wolfenstein, and Quake when they first came out) and THE OG Battle front 2 (which was THE WILDEST console online experience I ever had) and Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow. Then in 2012, events in my personal life caused my computer to be destroyed and its been a good 11 years since I've had a worthy rig. So I had to get more into Halo Reach, CoD Ps3 online (2017), and the CoD series in general. I've noticed the game pass stuff and.whole concept in general I'm not for. You have to buy all this extra shit and its not even backwards compatible. When I get a PC back its MMO RPG time! I just really miss my old.computer.

I find PS+ Premium a whole lot better than GamePass; It has an S load more games for starters, and all the great PlayStation exclusives. GamePass is mostly third party stuff that is also on PS+.

Xbox and playstation has disabled optic drive through their updates to further push digital game sales. Make a video on that, please. For some reason both consoles no longer will run disks and it's an issue that no UA-camr seem to have the balls to address. I've seen numerous videos of gamers with old and current gen consoles experiencing the same phenomenon. The consoles attempt to run the disks but gamers are met with the console not recognizing any disk(playstation) or, being asked if they own the disk(xbox) or to check the disk as it might be dirty(xbox). I feel this is a new form of highway robbery of physical disk owners as many have libraries physical disk games. It would make sense to at least provide the option to download the digital copy of your physical game. With this weird new push, your only option is to repurchase a game you already own. My xbox transitioned into this state gradually after an update and when I switched over to playstation, again after an update, the same issue arose. Both consoles just wont allow the optical drive to function correctly. It attempts to but fails. Only the digitally downloaded games will run. And I find it odd that no content creators have addressed this new phenomenon. There are people with brand new Ps5's and series X consoles malfunctioning in this manner. If there was a digital only switch event to take place, it should have been made public by Sony and Microsoft. I cant imagine spending 500$ on a brand new console just to have my entire physical library rendered obsolete then having to repurchase all my favorite games digitally. I have both ps5 and series x in 7 gen only had ps3 I was die hard ps3 fan was my favourite console of 7 gen I had ps4 since 2014 when it comes to which consul, I like better out on a spectrum throughout the PS4 first few years i was on ps4 got my Xbox one in 2019 and before I did got it in the years to 16 1718 so he was making some decisions that I really didn’t agree with at the end of the PS4 Xbox one I was in the middle independent still am today since I have both but lean more Xbox but I can admit Xbox is not doing so well
I feel the opposite I sold my ps5 after the exclusives and got a xbox not gonna lie it exposed me to alot of game the I never would of played and not pay 70$ for a game when money is tight... also I like more multiplayer games so it might be a reason also

The future quality of gaming is through indi games and small game studios. Only Those two groups are reinventing the gaming wheel. Just look at that new body cam shooter game, that's a shooter that deviates from the COD formula. Look at ready or not, major developers like EA, Microsoft, Activision have become absolutely soulless in their game development.

I consider the Xbox 360 and the PS2 to be the 2 best consoles of all time. I have a ps5, and I absolutely love it. It's so close to being a three-way tie for me. But I think the ps5 just needs a little bit more before it can finally break that barrier and join the other 2. Now, as a person who absolutely loved the Xbox 360 (as mentioned earlier) and enjoyed all the hours spent with friends on Halo 3, fable 2, gears, etc. I am heartbroken to see the current state of xbox. This once great shining beacon of my life now reduced to a mere shadow of itself. And it really sucks!
One of the reasons I chose an Xbox 360 when I was a kid was because of gears of war it was my first ever action shooter and ever since then I have been a fan of both that series and Xbox that same series is now being ruined by the coalition and Microsoft doesn’t care. Gears of war, 4 and 5 were terrible. And I guess you could say the same for halo. It’s a damn shame indeed

so funny i cancelled my game pass ultimate and gold after 10 years and got a pc recently. holy **** i was an idiot for waiting this long to switch to p.c. there are numerous reasons why p.c. is king, not to mention computers will exist infinitely after consoles die off as they ALWAYS do. the reason why i switched mainly because every game they release now is a 5 minute easy game that looks like it was made in the 1990s for a gameboy. the prices are ridiculous and the last 20+ gamepass games all suck. games with gold has been trash for years straight. Microsoft has been pushing for Always Online and cloud gaming since early xbox one. Remember the Xbox One reveal? Remember the backlash it got for being an always online DRM, which they literally had to reverse asap because they knew if they didn't, the Xbox brand was gonna be finished? Phil Spencer kinda saved the Xbox Brand, because at that point, he came in and fixed that disaster.
The only thing they've done to convince me is by taking the best developers out there, whom which are my favourites.
It's frustrating because I've always been a Sony fan, because it made me feel home when my dad wasn't around. It always felt complete. And never in my childhood was gifted anything of playstation. My parents would always say "no". So I asked for a 360 - at least it was something. I honestly never was happy with Xbox. There was always and has been something off/wrong that tells me that they don't put their all into it, hence care about their users. Now im old enough to have bought a ps4, then a 3 and last year a 5, i hear that Xbox wants to take ALL of my favourite games for themselves. Threatening to make every future game as an exclusive.

Fully agree on the topic. Microsoft has so much money, and they still cant get close to what sony does with exclusives. Is it really that hard? all they have going for them is gamepass, which clearly is quantity over quality. Instead they just buy a big Studio like Bethesda to force those games who were always multi plattform to be exclusive. I prefer to have a quality game like God of War or The last of Us every few month then this fast food gaming aproach of Microsoft. The majority of people think this way, thats why MS will never be able to touch Sony...

• nothing else
❌If i wanted to record my gameplay for longer than 3 minutes, i needed to buy an external hard drive.
✅Playstation lets you record for 1 hours without buying anything else.
❌on xbox if i wanted to record my friends voices while playing i needed to buy a game capture card, but doesn’t mean i can record my voice as well.
