GreenvilleGuy thanks for the comment, I notice all the companies talk about power and percentages, I just want to know things like is the handle is solids when I turn the thing to go the other direction... this thing has been great, still love it and have had it now for a while. The comments help me make better reviews, thanks again.
Luna, concur, these batteries are no joke when it comes to cost. All I can say is they are amazing. I have had no issues with mine. I buy the kits, and that seems to make the battery cost a little easier to stomach. They go on sale often as well.
Our lawn looks like the grass was forced into circular patterns and beat down. If I could "comb" the grass blades back into an upright position, the grass would look like a bad haircut with some of the blades cut and most others sticking up needing to be mowed again. We mowed it again, changing the height and a bit more was cut but the same, beat down, appearance was evident. It's been mowed again and most blades are lying down flat on the ground. This can't be happening to other users of this mower. Ideas anyone?
Are you mulching or using the bag? I would recommend changing your catching options and see if it makes a difference. If you are mulching I would make sure you have the two blades on it. Last would be to sharpen the blade and see if that helps. Honestly, I’m happy if my grass is green so you are miles ahead of me on quality of lawn, LOL. If you are mulching, consider the speed you are going as well, you have to give it time to chop up the grass and throw it up. If your moving too fast, it will just pile up in the blade area. That could be what is pushing the blades of grass down before the cutter even gets to it.
TEAMJESUS 70 I was trying to let people know I disconnected the battery when I flipped it up to show the bottom. The battery plugs are in the bottom of the tray, so when I disconnect it and flip it up, the battery cannot reconnect. I tried to say that so I did not get a bunch of comments asking me why I did not take out the battery.
Thanks for the video. I was considering getting this exact mower and was concerned about how well it mulches, whats your thoughts? The mower looks amazing.
Brady Skeen all I do is Mulch with it and it does great. It does not leave those little clumps behind it. The additional blade shoots the mulch down and that makes a great bit of difference. My last mower did not mulch as well and it was gas. I cannot recommendation this enough. It has been great and I have had it for several months now.
@@charlesbell1646 Looks like that's the one I'm buying tomorrow. EGO can thank you for my purchase, this was the only thing hanging me up. Thanks again for your video and reply. I look forward to my new mower.
That battery might of been out off its harness but it was still possible to fall in the harness and cut ones fingers off. I wouldn’t recommend what this professional just did! Thumbs down.
The plugs are in the bottom of the tray. When you flip the mower on it’s back it would have to defy gravity to fall back in. You have to hit the safety, pull the lever and then it starts. Not likely to start up on me in this situation; however, you are right. If I was doing any work on the mower, I would remove it. I did not remove gas from my gas lawn mower when I changed a blade on them.
Thanks for this - the popular ‘review’ videos do not show these obvious details that a consumer would want to see before buying. Good job.

I literally just picked up this mower for $450 at Home Depot. Brand new!!!!
Very good deal. The 7ah battery that comes with it makes that an amazing price.
DIY Reviews by Charles sure does. It’s a great mower so far.
Great video - quick overview of all the features and actually get to hear it run! Thanks
Seriously great video; to the point!
Great quick vid! Purchased the lastest Ego lawn mower and edger and love it. I'm a novice at yardwork. :)
I have a Ryobi edger but really want to get the Ego. I hear a lot of great things about it.
Might sell my ego 20" steel deck and try to pick this guy up.
Electric Lawn Services I was concerned with the plastic base original but, it has not been an issue at all. Light and seems very well built.
@@charlesbell1646 oh yeah... even the wheels arn't bad but they will break long before the base does.
I'm in the market for either this mower or a new Honda.
$350 for battery replacement makes the Honda a bit more appealing.

The fasted video that explains this mower so far. That whole removing the battery thing there at the end ..? I didn't get that.. ..

Brady Skeen let me know how it worked out for you. I’m adding a mulching video soon because get that question a lot.
@@SkeenDogger Let me know how you like it. I am always interested in others' opinions on the products I review.
Honda Civic of lawn mowers
Haha, yes it is, a little quieter though. Lol
I want to put a Mamba Monster RC car engine in it to make it chop down trees as well
Can you go through the steps a little slower?
I’m sorry I’m so late on this reply. please let me know if you still want me too and I’ll make another video doing it.
