I. LUUUV. TOM JONES!! Believe it or not, there's an older performance video (it's in B&W) of young Tom singing this live that's even MORE.... EVERYTHING! (sigh. Be still, my beating heart!)🥰 There's also a really NEAT video of him performing "Delilah" at the Queen's jubilee. (It wasn't this most recent Diamond Jubilee, but the last/previous one.) THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER GREAT REACTION, LADIES!!
Tom Jones is from Wales, where all Welsh men know how to sing while in their Mother’s womb. Please remember that all the singing here is live, no auto tune, just pure talent. Other songs from the Tom Jones vault you may consider are “It’s Not Unusual”, What’s New Pussycat, Delilah, She’s A Lady. The list goes on and on, but this is just a smattering.
I was just a little kid during this era of music, and hearing it brings memories of my parents flooding in. This was the music my parents would listen to on the car radio whenever we would go on long trips. The old saying "they don't make music like this anymore", was never more applicable than with this.
Your mother is correct. Tom is 82 and still kicking ass. He has been a judge on The Voice UK for many years. Look for Mr. Jones and the show on UA-cam.
He was a real heart throb back then , the ladies could not get enough of him and yes his voice was and still is great even though he is now in his 80's.
Tom is one of a kind. He is in his 80's and still has amazing power in his voice. He had a ton of great songs and a wonderful TV show. The one with Mary Hopkin as a guest was good since they are both Welsh. Glad you did this song. Thanks.🙏☮❤
I just seen him live a couple a weeks ago at age 81, he can still sing and belt it out. Incredible. He has a cane right now because he needs a hip replacement. What a voice.
His wife recently passed and he sang a song for her on the voice. His voice is still powerful and the emotion he put in that song will bring tears to you if you have a heart.
OMG. I have seen this and another video of this song many times and every time I still get covered in goose bumps and I tear up. Sir Tom. Still singing beautifully and still gorgeous.
Ladies Tom Jones at 82 is currently a judge for The Voice: UK. 2019's season of the Voice: UK, Peter Donegan, son of Lonnie Donegan, songwriter of this song, sang this song as Tom and other judges looked on. Tom pressed the button to turn his chair around to see Peter singing his classic song that his father wrote for Tom. Tom at then 79 duets with Peter on the song. Lonnie's widow and Peter's mom was very emotional seeing her son singing with man who made the song famous. Video clip of their singing is on UA-cam - The Voice: UK
OMG! Whose idea was it to force the Energy Packed Tom Jones to perform this Slooow Mooootion version of a Great song ... You must listen to the Black and White version from 1967 also - there He truly comes to his Right.
Hai ladies, thank you so much for this reaction video.Listening to Tom Jones makes me walk back down the memory lane..I used to listen to this song with my father being played on the record player and both of us have a good time singing along.Such a beautiful memories. Thanks once again 💕
I hadn't heard this song in the last 45+ years. Thank you for a great song by the great Tom Jones. I'm loving your channel. Greatly entertained by your channel, and look forward to more great content. Stay true to what you do, and you can't lose.
This particular song mames me think of the "crooners" back in the day. He had a huge hit when I was growing up called " It's Not Unusual " that was played constantly of the radio. How many performers do you see today come out and belt one out of the park....... IN A TUXEDO.............
I saw him back in the 70's also in a very small "theater in the round".... he sounded just as awesome. Women were throwing keys, panties (underwear), and flowers on the stage - it was crazy!
To explore Tom Jones music, "I'll Never Fall In Love Again" was an excellent song choice to start with. It really highlights his incredible singing voice. Over in England, Tom Jones has been referred to as "The Voice". Whenever there is a friendly discussion as to who the greatest male singer of all-time is, Tom Jones is one of the many names that is always mentioned. He is still going strong today. Tom is now in his 80s and still doing concerts singing and performing at a very high level. Other Tom Jones songs that I would recommend you react to are "It's Not Unusual", "Delilah", "She's A Lady", and "Love Me Tonight".
we went to see tom in edinburgh in august 2022 still has the same voice sung for 2 hours without a break all though hes finding it hard to walk now great for his age
The BBC version in Black and White is better it's on UA-cam check it out he's 82yrs old now and is a judge on the British Voice sings on that still blasts them out he does a duo of this song with the son of the song writer Lonnie Donegan. One of his songs was on the fresh Prince of Bel-air Carlton dances to it.
Great reaction to the fabulous Tom Jones. You might also want to check out Shirley Bassey, another astonishing singer from the same part of Wales. Like Tom, she hit the big time in the 1960s and is still going strong. One of her biggest hits was the theme to "Goldfinger", so that would be a good place to start... try to watch a live version if you can :)
am a Welsh man and proud of our country men not many know he is Welsh lived not far where is from, Tom Jones, Anthony Hopkins Actor, Richard Burton, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Duffy, Bonnie Tyler, Shirley Bassey. A few facts for you.
My mother listened to this fella when I was growing up. Tom Jones, Englebert Humperdinck, and Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass were her favorites. My parents bought a portable record player in the 60's so she could play their albums, so this was pretty much my into to music. This was a suburb of Detroit so you can imagine that when I started listening to radio I heard a lot of Motown music and loved the Temptations. Then, I discovered FM radio and rock music. I'm 64 now and still headbanging.
He sings the same song in his younger years I believe he was 27 years old when he sang the song I remember listening to him when I was a kid and I’ll be 64
Great reaction. Just so you know, he is a judge on The Voice, one of the contestants is the son of the author of this song. Tom Jones and the son do a duet and it is wonderful to watch. This happened in the last 2 to 3 years. Need to watch just to see how good he is.
Well, you guys just came up on my feed and once I saw Tom Jones, I had to click. Tom is the Welsh Tiger, and on of the GOATs. Incredibly handsome and charismatic in his prime, and still singing and touring today. He had a number one album in the UK a few months ago. I think this video is from his TV show.
This song was written by Lonnie Donegan, who also wrote "Does Your Chewing Gum Lose It's Flavor" and "My Old Man's a Dustman (in UK a trash collector)" At one point - Lonnie's son was a contestant on THE VOICE UK and Tom Jones turned for his performance. When he asked his name - Tom asked if he was related to Lonnie and Peter said "He's my Dad" Then Tom told how Lonnie wrote the song and how he recorded it... and then he asked Peter to play it and sing it with him. link is below Not a dry eye in the house. Hello Generation Gap, I love your reaction on this song. I was about 14 years of age as this song came in 1967 on the radio in the Netherlands and i loved this song. There are so much great musicians from the 60's and 70's. These days there are also great singers and ind the Netherlands is a live show called "beste zangers" (best singers) and this year was the 13th season. This is a show where there are performers from different genres come together and perform for each other and go out of their comfort zone. This is not a competition but every week one of them is special guest and the other singers sing a song of their repertoire or a song that has a special meaning for the guest. In 2019 there was a great line up: Emma Heesters - UA-cam perforner, Ruben - singer-songwriter, Tim - rockband, Samantha- Dutch folksongs, Floor - metal singer and Henk - opera and operette. Floor sings in the Finnish band Nightwish and she only performs in the show because of Henk. She has seen him in the Dutch Phantom of the opera when she was a young girl and he is the reason she started to sing. The last show is al singers form a duet and there a 2 that are amazing: the first Floor and Henk - Phantom of the opera ua-cam.com/video/plCScjvDOJM/v-deo.html and Henk with Emma - Vivo per Lei ua-cam.com/video/OumZnDaQINo/v-deo.html This is a song from Andrea Bocelli and Giorgia. I think you will love these live acts.
The 1967 black and white vision on the Dusty Springfield show blows everything away... Ladies do yourself a favor and listen to it for your own pleasure... You guys will be blown away...
Joe Cocker “you are so beautiful” is a fantastic choice. He also sings with angst and passion so stunningly! Please react to it. I’m enjoying your videos very much. I’m 60, so I can definitely relate to the music. Thanks
There's a black and white video of him singing this song that sounds even better believe it or not. Love watching your reactions.

Wonderful Welshman Tom Jones 🏴 He was big friends with Elvis. There's a great duet with him and Stevie Wonder.

@@michaelasay8587 Hi Michael, that’s a great suggestion, I love his music. He’s on my list. 😃
But they do make music like this nowadays. Tom is still singing!
Yes. I was born in 1965 so this was my parents' music that I was exposed to. I have a newfound appreciation for it.
He is a judge on the British version of The voice. The son of the man who wrote this song sings this song with him. It’s amazing! Have a look at that.
Think this was written by Lonnie Donnegan? Lonnie's son sung this song with Tom on TV.
Tom Jones is in his 80s, and he can still sing great.
Tom Jones is the singer Elvis listened to for enjoyment and called him the 'voice'
Your mother is correct. Tom is 82 and still kicking ass. He has been a judge on The Voice UK for many years. Look for Mr. Jones and the show on UA-cam.
Sung live. No autotune, no pitch correction. Just him.

Sir Tom Jones is one of a kind and he is a judge on the UK Voice.

Tom Jones. One of the greatest voices ever! My suggestion: "Tom Jones & Pavarotti - Delilah"👍
Thanks! For a great Tom Jones reaction video!🙂
Thank you MK! Delilah is a great song. I’ll put it on my list. 😃
I put link that Tom who's on The Voice picked (without knowing) the son of the writer, who wrote I'll never fall in love for Tom.
From my home town in Wales, Tom the Voice was brought up in the same street as my grandmother lived. 🏴
I like to look at you, the communication, the warmth between you and the emotionality you show in some songs !!!
Great live performance. No pre recorded track there
Mum was there from the getgo and vibing with him.
