Hey Maddison ! I have recently discovered your Channel and I instantly fell In love with your very detailed hair videos ! I’m a 19 year old girl from Germany and I was diagnosed with leukemia back in 2017. Luckily i got great treatment and the multiple rounds of chemotherapy cured my cancer in January 2018 and my hair finally started growing 💁 so now in 2019 I’m the proud mother of a full head of cute Chemocurls 😍 because I’m not used to styling curls I was looking for some good information on how to style my hair instead of frying them off with a flat iron as I did with my long frizzy hair pre-cancer😂 I Love your videos , especially because we have the exact same Curl pattern and texture as far as I can see 😳 Thank u for sharing this helpful tutorial , I can’t wait to see more 💕 SUBSCRIBED 🥳!

This looks nice but I’m afraid my hair would fall flat. I have no idea what to do anymore. I have low porosity hair that gets easily over moisturized so smoothies and creams haven’t worked for me so far but I’d like to try that curl talk cream. I live in Vegas and the dew point is notoriously low. Does your hair like protein? Mine seems to but I’m confused about why. Lol.

How is your hair so healthy?!! Our curl pattern is very similar but my hair is much longer so everything is weighed down I think
I’ve tried leave in conditioner a few times now and I find it just makes my hair really stringy. Is it just me.

Then my clumps are also formed upside down & end up looking crazy around my face.

Yes! I followed a routine like that and when I flipped my head up my hair looked so bad. I had to re wet and style it right side up 🤭

Man it looked like you put so much defining cream in. If I put that much my hair would feel so product’y but it also looks like you keep adding more water. Doesn’t this just rinse some out? I’m still learning but I feel like my hair is lower on the normal scale and product just lays on my hair and I never can get my hair to feel soft unless it’s product free.

You actually have high porosity not low because your hair is fully wet in the shower, if you have low it wouldn't be as slick to your scalp
ashley pena thats not necessarily true as you still have to account for texture, thickness, density etc. you can have any combination. Also high porosity is subjective to an extent especially if we are looking at hair from diff cultures so a course and kinky low porosity will be extremely different than a thin wavy.
My hair floats in water when I did the test but it looks like hers when I have finally soaked it which takes time. So it is still low porosity. Everyone is different.
SO MUCH leave in on your fine hair. There is no way that would work on my 'baby' hair. Often, I don't even use leave it, especially if I use a very moisturizing conditioner.
Water scarcity is a real issue. Close the tap when applying products, please.
