I’ve had these since Christmas and I have to admit first impressions were not good. Starting off with pop and rock was very disappointing, specifically the 5khz peak REALLY drew attention to itself with a lot of 80’s recordings and not in a pleasant way (tip and cable rolled but to no avail). However, a few days later I was compiling a playlist of 50’s and 60’s Jazz including lots of Bossa Nova rarities… and O M G … I can honestly say I have NEVER heard trumpets and saxophones sound soooo brassy and raspy on a budget iem. Jumped to the new release by Chris Botti and again I was left with my jaw in my lap, the one thing an iem has never been able to do for me is play trumpet like you hear in a small venue I.e. loud and piercing but with a velvety raspy harmonic … and yet here it was with the Juzear Clear driven from the balanced output of my Fiio Q11 … A one trick pony ? maybe … but boy, what a trick 😉

I don't think they are made for anything other than EDM music, but hell it's so good at it, the bass is so good....and yer other iem maker's take note at what you get for the money. Case, build, cable...Another great iem around this price with a great driver is the XSL-X- one...my 2023 best value buy...

Dave have you heard the Juzear 41T? That’s another set they released earlier this year and it’s genuinely a phenomenal warm balanced set with exceptional build and great SQ. It’s my #2 pick for IEM of the year based on value.

I wouldn’t call them bass heads at all. They have a lot of quality both in performance and for what you get for the money. I got them for £25 in the uk

I own them. Have had them for a few months and listened to them very little so far. They are just not my favorite set at the $50 price point. The tuning is just a bit off as Dave has indicated. It’s kinda like it’s trying too hard to be different. I’m actually breaking them in as we speak as another reviewer said it helps. Just with dynamic drivers, and apparently it did with these. They’re getting 75 hours before I try them again.

women vocals is recessed, it's the main flaw of clear, power hungry so sound with smartphone is sh1t and need some burn and tip rolling, but overall cool bassy iem for its price
