What is good about your reviews is that you make comparisons (4 to 5 iems is a good number) but what is great is that the iems you choose are always spot on, you compare to the ones that makes sense, keep up the good work
People are finally realizing that Harman tuning SUCKKKKS. All these new IEMs coming out with a more flat midrange and elevated low frequencies are being very welcomed by the community. 61T is another great example here.
Yes. It's turning into a trend...which i again don't like. The ones coming out are way too similar. Some more variation within the trend would be nice. I guess evrntually it will happen.
true that w reviews youll have to be more careful w words choices, but mine been done so that everythings bang for buck as for rests unreviewed, they might actually sound fair for the price, who knows maybe better/hidden gem
Awesome and Fantastic review, Dave you are my most trusted IEM Reviewer on UA-cam, I've ordered the Pilgrim during the Mega Sale, bought the Performer 8 from your influence - my #1 Top IEM at the moment, also ordered the Zenns Top at the same time - the lowest price ever. I found this video really clearly ranked those IEM places in greatest detail. Thank You for providing such detailed information to this Hobby. You have a very kind personality too and are professional in music , there are more and more people enjoying your channel, there is no doubt about your channel will be growing bigger and bigger. Be happy........Cheers !
I am sure you have mentioned in past videos, but in order to speed up my understanding. What amp, DAC , interconnects and source did you use to review these IEM's. Lastly, do you feel your 4.4 outperforms a 3.5 plug within your IEM's? Thank you.
Literally my only con with this set is the pressure buildup. It’s not as bad as the orchestra lites, but it kinda limits what tips you can use if you don’t have smaller versions of them.
To those wondering about the 61t vs pula 02/clkv d41- i am new to iems and i have the pula 02 and just got 61t today. I also have the tangzu Heyday, and listened to the magic one and the singolo. The 61t sound wise is miles above any of the others sound wise for me(note the for me part) and the music i listen to most of the time. I mean way above. There were a couple songs tho that were bad to almost ruined for me with the 61t where the pula02 didnt have the issue. I am no expert nor experienced enough to tell you why, but the bass in those songs were off in to where the sub bass overpowered/ruined the bass...the rumble distorted the notes. To compare my eclectic songs on the iems i first start with Cusswords by Too Short. The 61t outperformed the others by miles and made me want to listen to more. Like sooo good. While the pula02 has good bass and is very enjoyable, the vocals are further back in my head for this and other tracks. The heyday has the vocals placed "correctly" but not as satisfying bass on this track. 61t was made for this song. Next up- Are you Experienced? by Jimi Hendrix. I specifically listen for the studio added reverse notes that sit pretty high above the vocals and instruments. I can barely hear them on the pula02. The heyday has it come thru very clearly, a little better than the 61t. Overall the song is very enjoyable on all 3, but sounds the best on the 61t. Moving over to Bad Guy by Billie Eilish, the pula02 sounds pretty good. They heydays sounded a little lighter but clear, and the 61t made this song killer. Had to play it a second time after picking up my jaw. Toxic by Brittany spears on the pula02 and heyday was decent in that it was like hearing it on the radio for the millionth time. On the 61t it was like i was in the club next to the speakers with a cold beer surrounded by pretty twenty-something girls. Swithching over to the Grateful Dead- again the pula02 has the vocals further back. Not terribly back, just noticeably. Heyday had them right and has wider soundstage than the pula02. Heydays are great on the jams during the fairgrounds show in june 1974. The 61t were just better at everything. Last one is Frayed Ends of Sanity by Metallica. Heyday is fine, pula02 is better, 61t hits it out of the park. Soundwise, i enjoy the pula02, the heyday is consistent and wide, but so far the 61t is freaking amazing. How any iem could beat the sound, i dunno. Comfort. The heyday is the hardest to get right in my ear, have to use foam or the dots ++ to be comfy. Maintaining a seal is a little difficult. But once set up all is good. The pula2 is easy and comfy right away. The 61t, easy to get a seal, too easy. Waiting for the velvet tips to come in. Pressure is real so far but sound is so good and the pressure comes and goes as far as noticeable/irritating. Time will tell if bearable or not. Hope that helps! I use the ka17 for dac, i highly recommend. Its really the only dac needed for iems. Ability to user define EQ, all the power and voltage with the power input/desktop mode. The 61t are 40 ohm iems. I jave the 4.4 jack and for most tracks half volume on Low gain is as high as i want to go, maybe 35/60 of i am really jamming.
@ShubhamKumarSingh-zo1tt as time has gone on they are very close, but to me the 61t is just a little "fuller" sound. If you look at their Frequency Response (FR) graphs they are very very similar. The Heyday comes with 3.5 and 4.4 which is good...they are harder to drive so having the 4.4 to plug into dongle is advantageous. Also the heyday has better packaging. Because they are so close, the Heyday is slightly better value in my opinion, but i reach for rhe 61t more.
What songs or genres did the Juzear butterfly 61t almost ruin for you? Just curious, and if you could go into detail on how you feel they almost ruined certain songs, that would help me a lot. I’m looking at getting these, but wanna make sure they will work with most of my library. For reference, I only have the Moondrop Katos and Aful Magicones, but enjoy them. I also don’t mind tweaking iems in eq, which I would probably do with these around the 300hz to help remove the bleed of the bass into the mids that was mentioned in this video.
@Tanner_SD it has been awhile- i want to say it was Unsung by Helmet. Not an audiophile so not sure about the bass bleed, unless that was what was happening on that song. I primarily listen to old Grateful Dead shows from the 70's and the 61t is great for that. I didnt know graphs when i originally wrote my post- its amazing how close the ones i bought were to each other graphwise. The 61t butterfly is my main usage. I have since purchased celest wyvern (black) to use with my xbox controller for audio and couldnt be happier, and celest phoenixcall for my quest3...it is a little much on the high end but otherwise good. I wonder now that the 61t have some burn in how it would do on that song, perhaps it will be better. I recommend like others wide bore tips to help reduce pressure build up. I barely notice it- notice it but isnt bothersome. Grateful Dead set are about 1.5 hrs each and i usually listen to one set before bed. I dont have any fatigue issues and often will fall asleep with them in. Fit issues were solved when i got smaller sized wide bore tips. I recommend these, but if you dont have a good dongle dac i would buy the pula02 and ka17 if you have a budget and depending on use case. The ka17 has a separate power slot which allows for higher output. Granted, it might be overkill but you wont ever need another one and it drives the iem to full potential, especially my Heydays which are harder to drive. I have a usb from my nightstand going to the ka17, ka17 connected to my phone. I now use tidal where before was using spotify. Hope that helps!
@@paulcline7250 that helps a lot! I really appreciate the explanation and I think I will definitely keep my eye out for the Juzear 61t! There are so many choices in the $150 to $250 range for iems now, which is good, but also makes it harder to choose just one haha! At this point, I’m trying to decide if I want another safe tuning set like the Kato and Magicones, or something more fun. The phoenix call was another on my list, but again I’ll just have to keep my eye out for deals, thank you!
Hi, good review like always. I bought the DUNU SA MK2 after I watched your review....and man, that is awesome. I also blame you(in a good way) for buying Aful Explorer. I would really love to see your opinion about Moondrop x Crinacle Dusk. Have a great day.
Hype 4 is still better IMO. Definitely more comfortable too. 61t has pressure buildup, so keep that in mind. You’ll need to size down on tips or use foam, divinus or tang sencai.
This review leaves me even more confused... I have to decide whether I should buy the 61T, which is the first in the $200 class but can't compete with the $300 class, or the CKLVX or Super mix4, which have good reviews and are capable of competing with the $200 class.
Unfortunately, I have not heard the CKLVX or Super mix 4 so I don't know how competitive they are. My hope is always to help make the decision easier not harder. Apologies for that! And thank you for watching!
The P8 is picky needs burn-in 100+ hours before they sound good , ear-tips SpinFit W1 best sound and comfort, upgrage cable NICEHCK GrKing A good power dac/amp mine is 2000mw SH-6 , SubBass sound like a very hq home Subwoofer , mid texture in detail and Nice body weight , beautiful micro-details , non fatigue highs , good imaging , medium size stage , can be an end-game set , only can not satisfy Bass Head listeners , the piano tone sounded really Grand ! if you don't get a good seal ear tips , it will never sound good ! Some cables also sounded bright like shit too !

Fantastic Review Dave, I have finally ordered a set of 61t for myself.
Great review! We need more review of this beast
Looks beautiful! Thanks for the review.
Beautiful video and great review. Great face plate design on the Butterfly. Mid-range IEMs are getting so good.
So many great options in this price range now for sure! Thanks for watching!

Nice review. Thanks. Subscribing.
What is the name of the track selection in the background of this video?
Did you notice anything about the vent or pressure build up? Can you tell if its vented?
It’s vented, but still has buildup. It’s not as bad as an unvented iem, just pull up on your ears and use tips that aren’t too sticky.
Informative review some great take always, thanks😊

Great job Juzear
Thanks for watching!
Nice comparisons!
Hi bro! Ziigaat doscinco, cincotres, Dunu da Vinci, Juzear butterfly-Is it better suited for metal? Hug you tight! Good luck!
Doscinco is my metal pick, also aful explorer is a great one for metal. 61t works great too, but I don’t have many miles on it to determine.
They are gorgeous but I can't help but wonder how much money could be saved with a more reserved design.
Very little.
It’s not like it’s 24k gold inlaid.
Yeah, I don't think the design adds much cost. The cable on the other can add quite a bit.
Please review the Tri I3 mk3.😊
Graph looks perfect for the Juzears... 🤔
How is the 61T vs the Pula PA02?
Better than CKLVX D41?
Yep, but the venting isn’t as good.
Nice review
This vs Pula 2?
This, but pula is more comfortable due to better pressure relief. I have the cklvx d41 which is the same iem and the 61t.

Is it bland? I haven’t heard it, but a lot of people swear by it. I heard it’s similar to the performer 8 just more refined.
Naa..i think wutz over hyped is the new meze alba..is it wutever..not this..among all Sliivo sl41 wons..Peace!
