"Our world was drowned in seas of red And yet the wheel keeps turning And I was dead and you were dead And yet the wheel keeps turning For now the wheel keeps turning" -The Wheel, by Allinal.
Well, they call it the Wheel of Time and the Dragonborn is the chosen of the God of Time and can absorb the souls of Dragons, who are beings outside the flow of Time and described as pieces of the God of Time. So, yeah, I can see how Shouts could relate to the power from the Wheel of Time.
Reminds me of the movie "Demolition Man". The whole sea shell scene. Bunch of a flablabbo mcguffin, George I can't believe you don't know about the bling blang platt matt.
They must have tweaked this a mod a bit since I played it last. I had Aviendha appear on the bridge when I was leaving Riverwood for the first time. That being said, the mod is okay. It does rely on the player knowing the source material, but it does try to fill in some of the blanks. That's also one of the few mods that I've played. Where the side characters are way more interesting than the follower you get. Unless I broke something. Or it just bugged out my playthrough. But Aviendha doesn't really how much to say for most of the mod. Yeah, she talks, but doesn't really have any input on certain things that involve people that have been established are close to her.
The Practical Pirate Outfit that she's wearing is great, and thankfully open perms. Not sure why her gloves are glossy, though, as they normally aren't. Perhaps they did it specifically for the mod, or there's an error. The material is leather/cloth.
As someone whos read the series over and over and over ill be interested to see how close it is! Also try the audio books. Reading them physically can be…. Tedious
Dang wetlanders, picking up strange women on bridges. I have seen this mod a few times but have not decided if I want to play it, so I will be watching this with great interest! (Hears Moiraine say the same thing... 😂🤣)
As someone who's read the series it's pretty good, I'm only surprised there was no conversation that men shouldn't use Magic as it drives them insane in the universe she comes from.
Its a shame i can’t play this mod. I’ve be n playing travelling with her for about 30 in game days and she will not start the quest, she is a great follower though
My biggest issue, is that the mod focused heavily with male dragonborn only. I got tired of it and uninstalled. Other than that issue, I would say it's a good mod. Funny moment : She tried to set me up with one of the females in Whiterun. I was like, no thanks, I prefer males, now if you could set me up with the Jarl.... I do not know if they "fixed" the mod or not, as I have not kept up with it since I last played it, and there was no word on if they would add dialog for female dragonborn as well or not.
It wouldn't make sense for it to work with a female character. They're obviously implying the dragonborn is the dragon reborn but in wheel of time the dragon reborn is always a man. It's sort of implied in the books that men and women are always reborn as the same gender apart from one exception due to the dark one reviving a man in a woman's body
@@terrencewilliams4355 Because they tried to recreate events without fitting them within the Wheel of Time books. Sure, the idea of a Dragonborn interacting with characters from the WoT books sounds cool, but you get none of the character developments with the books. On top of that, as the mod goes on it's obvious they just replaced Rand with the Dragonborn as if Rand just didn't exist, but people from his village do, but none of the romance or interactions Rand had feel earned with the Dragonborn. They just happen because they happened to Rand in the books and the reasons why they happened are absent and it feels forced and awkward. If you wanted a Wheel of Time mod that uses the Skyrim engine, just make a Wheel of Time game from scratch, sort of like they did with Enderal.
am i crazy or isnt aviendha supposed to have darker skin? im pretty sure the aiel are dark skinned in the books (not sure about tv series yet) since you know, they live in a desert. id change this mod just slightly to give her darker skin.
@patrickaycock3655 in fairness, the only pictures I ever saw of Aviendha (the cover of book . . . 5? the one where Rand balefires Sammael out of existence in the climax so that he never killed her or Mat, and the big reference book) had her with a similar skin tone as the wetlanders. I admit that I've never really bothered to track down more official art of her, so maybe that's been changed.
Um.. I just want to point something out here. Why is it that these mod developers always assume you are playing as a dragonborn. My character is not dragonborn. There are players who play without the ability.
I tried this mod on my severely broken 1.5.97 version, and I uninstalled it after a couple of days, between the whole 'girl power' vibe and the pointless vagueness just to pretend mystery or create a sense of suspense.. it wasn't my cup of tea. It kind of reminded me of that other 'girl power' mod Maids: Deception 2. No disrespect to the authors intended, I'm just not a fan of ridiculous predictable events and T.V. series plot mechanisms.
Moiraine - "The DARK ONE"
The Player - "Sauron? Morgoth? Mehrunes Dagon? Molag Bal? Todd Howard?"
Probably Todd

"Don't be ashamed is happens to me all the time." Dude broke me in three different places with that line.
Man I missed Skyrim Saturday Mods!! Super excited!!
Right? It's nice to have them back.
So nice to wake up to skyrim saturdays again! Much love, George, keep it real.

Didnt finish the mod but from what I played of it, I remember liking how uniquely the story was embedded in the base game
Man the voice acting for this mod is pretty good. I also enjoy the character design and outfits
I love this mod. As I am starting a new game to play it I think I might have to take Lydia along to assure victory!
One is lying on the ground and the dragonborn gets threatened but hey, every guard just walking be like: Mehh, they both have good points" :D
"You're not invited to the Lan Party."
lol! I haven't heard that since the late 2000s. Nice to see Skyrim Saturdays again. I did miss them.
Yeeeeessssssss so excited you're covering this! Skyrim Saturdays are back, babyyyy
Reminds me of the movie "Demolition Man". The whole sea shell scene. Bunch of a flablabbo mcguffin, George I can't believe you don't know about the bling blang platt matt.
It is a really cool mod
Aviendha would never use a sword.
That’s gonna bug me
Well, if -Todd- _someone_ would've just left spears in the franchise we wouldn't have that problem.
Skyrim Saturday is back, I repeat, Skyrim Saturday is back! This is not a drill!
They must have tweaked this a mod a bit since I played it last. I had Aviendha appear on the bridge when I was leaving Riverwood for the first time.

GAAAAAAN... LAH HAAS!!
I love that shout! Drain Vitality. It's cool.
Dude, I love her "let's go". Sounds so cute.
Not gonna lie the first thing I thought when I seen the wheel of time is the wheel's of lull
We're sooooo back... I missed this series!
I am George, I am Dragonborn- you cracked me up right there!
Trolloc? I'll just spawn in my Dremora from the Sanguine Staff to deal with it.
"A challenger is near."
Ive been missing your mods playthroughs George!
Woo-hoo! Skyrim Saturday is back!
Aviendha is a nice follower & this mod is fun.
The Practical Pirate Outfit that she's wearing is great, and thankfully open perms. Not sure why her gloves are glossy, though, as they normally aren't. Perhaps they did it specifically for the mod, or there's an error. The material is leather/cloth.

I've been thinking about playing this eventually. Thanks, dude
Also.... IT'S THE WHEEEEEEEL OF TIIIIIIIME!
Yeeees, skyrim Saturday is back baby!
I have never heard of the wheel of time before.
Nice to see another Skyrim Saturday video
I missed your weekend mod playthroughs George!
Very cool mod, wish it had a sequel.
Funny that I am currently rereading the series……
Coincidence I think not!
Niceee. I was waiting for this!
Loce that the chicken is stronger than a legendary dragon XD
"Await further events" How long exactly? A day? A week? A month? The heat death of the universe?
As someone who's read the series it's pretty good, I'm only surprised there was no conversation that men shouldn't use Magic as it drives them insane in the universe she comes from.
This looks cool. Ill def dl this
That marble at the end is from the mod or is it some retexture of the vanilla snow elf ruins?
Its a shame i can’t play this mod. I’ve be n playing travelling with her for about 30 in game days and she will not start the quest, she is a great follower though
What sword were you using in this video?
Trollops? WOW😆

Yeah, that's why I've skipped this mod. Curious to see how it works out for George tho.
It wouldn't make sense for it to work with a female character. They're obviously implying the dragonborn is the dragon reborn but in wheel of time the dragon reborn is always a man. It's sort of implied in the books that men and women are always reborn as the same gender apart from one exception due to the dark one reviving a man in a woman's body
hello...this mod works on skyrim anniversary edition????
This is pretty cool, but I almost wish they didn't use characters directly from the books, or at least not main characters.
Why?
@@terrencewilliams4355 Because they tried to recreate events without fitting them within the Wheel of Time books. Sure, the idea of a Dragonborn interacting with characters from the WoT books sounds cool, but you get none of the character developments with the books. Hello what mod are you using for NPC look ?
As a fan of both universes... cringe. Well covered and I don't disapprove.
am i crazy or isnt aviendha supposed to have darker skin? im pretty sure the aiel are dark skinned in the books (not sure about tv series yet) since you know, they live in a desert. id change this mod just slightly to give her darker skin.
The show changed alot of stuff that was in the books. Think RINGS OF POWER types of changes.
@@MLPDethDealr32 oof. I do need to try to watch WoT at some point. And im getting mixed reviews on it.
Don't watch the show
Agreed. The show is complete crap
This is so weird 😂
The books are good. The show.. yea.. not so much.
🎉🎉🎉🎉
Um.. I just want to point something out here.

i am the 2-3 comment!!!!!
